Skype 2.7 Mac Beta Is Up And Running

I always try to keep up with the latest in technology. It is a huge part in how I am able to stay ahead or at least on top of the game in the Online Business World. It was recently announced that Skype has just released the all new Mac Beta Skype 2.7 Download. Such a great tool to use, especially in my case, for keeping up with JV’s and Consultations or just to get in touch on a one on one basis with other Business oriented people. Here are some of the key features that it presents:
- Group contacts – organize your contacts into as many groups as you need. While there are some pre-defined groups (like Online, Waiting Authorization, Recently Contacted), you’re free to add new ones that suit your life. This should be a godsend to those whose contact list has ballooned to hundreds of Skype users. Explore this nifty feature under the cogwheel icon on the main screen.
- See your Apple Address Book contacts in Skype – easily call or SMS anyone who has a phone number in their address-book profile. When texting, just make sure the number is one that belongs to a mobile phone.
- Create and manage public chats by clicking on Chats in the menu bar and choosing Start Public Chat. A public-chat assistant will walk you through the necessary steps.
- Auto Redial for busy or unconnected calls. When your call hits the busy signal, Skype will give you the option of automatic redial every two minutes until the call goes through. This setting can also be adjusted in Skype > Preferences > Calls.
- Easy sound-level controls – when you need to tweak the sound level during a call, use a simple slider in the call window
Making Money With Yahoo Answers Just Got Easier
![]()
I got a lot of questions and feedback from my previous post on Make Money With Yahoo Answers. One of the most frequently asked questions (though it was not asked during the Q and A session) was how people who could not outsource handle this? If you cannot outsource, I see a considerable amount of time being spent over there. Although, it is well worth it. Building traffic, capturing subscribers and affiliate marketing (not to mention lead generation for other networks) are the easiest ways to monetize Yahoo Answers.
Some have suggested that outsourcing was not an option. While this has no effect on me, I am always in the mood to do my best and find solutions to these types of problems. I was able to come across a pretty nifty script that will make your life a lot easier. Matter of fact, I have it installed already and have begun to use it myself. My next step is to turn it over to my staff member and get them rocking and rolling. Here are just a few things this script does:
- Automatically finds OPEN Questions for you to Answer
- Automatically finds the questions based on the keywords you input
- Makes for the least amount of time spent as possible
- Allows you to answer all the Open Questions for your keywords
Pretty darn nifty if you ask me. There is no more sorting or spending valuable time searching thru tons of questions that have already been resolved. You can get the script here. Included with the script is a PDF on how to use Answers effectively, a video about Yahoo Answers, The Yahoo Answers Search Software, and a detailed video showing you how to install and easily edit the script. It took me about 30 minutes to read the guide, watch the two videos and successfully have the software up and running. Give it a go, sure going to save a lot of time.
Short Lived Success At The Cost Of Your Reputation
WARNING: This Post WILL Offend The People I Am Directing This Towards
Begin Rant: I was really trying to hold this off as long as I could. Unfortunately, at the expense of yet another forum blowup and yet another reputation shot to hell, I feel I must stick a really sharp needle in this balloon, and burst this bubble that has been nagging me for ages.
There is a new age of Internet Marketers among us. Whether we accept or not is irrelevant, they are here and they are penetrating more and more forums everyday. It seems that this generation of Internet Marketer likes to take on the persona that they are someone else. Whether it be a person who is successful, a copy of a persona already portrayed online, or just a blatant liar who thinks that what they are doing is “cool”. I have personally known, and still know people that portray this image. Do I agree with it? No. Do I hound them like it was my business? No. I probably should, yet I wait and let them destruct themselves.
Most of the people who I approached in the past that portrayed a “false” persona, usually turned into an argument. Sometimes it spilled right out into the public view. I have since held my tongue since the last person I went after, as it almost cost me a forum membership. I knew for a fact he was a fraud, I didn’t want to prove it. What I really wanted to do is push him over the edge, until he admitted it himself. In most cases, I must have a gift or something, because I can usually push people to the edge, and when they actually realize how deep the whole is going to be, they give up, admit they were wrong and usually disappear.
Tips On How To Sell Information Products
In today’s post I want to talk about a few things that can better prepare you on how to sell information products. With the ever changing evolution that surrounds Affiliate Marketing, it is becoming increasingly apparent that the best way to go would be to create your own information products. I say “increasingly apparent”, but I do not mean that “it is a requirement”. I was and still am a successful affiliate marketer. When I started creating my own products though, I saw a whole new venue of earning online open up for me.
I believe that one of the key steps of developing your own product is to actually write about it before it even exists. Sound crazy? Well maybe just a little, but hear me out ok? When you start writing your own product, it should be essential to either A. Have a website or B. Have a blog. Social interaction can lead to great things, and in the case of product creation, your going to find out how to identify EXACT problems and what people NEED as far as a solution goes. If you have a topic but do not know the “ins and outs” of the niche and/or problem associating with it, then it only makes sense to get started talking what you DO know and ARE familiar with. As readers start to interact, your going to find out that all the marketing insight your going to need is coming at from all directions. Let the people explain their specific instances and your going to be armed with a very valuable arsenal to attack the problems associated in the niche.
I Got My First Youtube Subscriber
Just sharing my joy :)
Hope he gets a kick out of that,

How To Make Money With Youtube Basics
I am going to do a video marketing series, but this should get you going for now.
I got some “dirty tactics” that I am going to throw out there as well. These mainly have to deal with traffic generation and how to make a cool video site. I won’t go into too much about monetization as you can figure out what you want to do with your video sites yourself. I will show you how to get some awesome automated traffic coming.
Video Marketing is becoming quite huge. Heck just the other day, I saw Darren Rowse from Problogger had a video up on his blog. Videos are a huge source of entertainment and news. They are so much better to view than sit and spend lots of time reading text.
Promoting niche video sites is a step of the evolving affiliate marketer. Yes, there is HUGE changes taking place in the marketing world, and if your not staying on top of it, then your only limiting yourself.

Pligg For Sale Has Been Confirmed
It has been confirmed that Pligg is up for sale. I am generally kept up to date on this site as I have seen bunches of this open source content management system passed about all over the net. I actually had not even heard about TechCrunch and Mashable reporting the sale until I visited the Digital Point Thread this morning. I was a little shocked actually by the announcement.
Here are a little domain and page statistics I found on Sedo.com. This is where all actual bids are supposed to go.

Pligg is known to be a popular but very disputed content management system. It can spit out Digg site clones like it was nobodies business. I have seen tons of these myself. In a post at DP a person who seems to be in close contact if not employed by Pligg has reported this from an email.
The Pliggcommunity has grown larger than ever expected, with over 10,000 registered users sharing and trading tips, more than 60,000 Sourceforge downloads and 2 IRC rooms that are active 24/7. It’s become an extremely large project and community to manage. We all have day jobs and struggle to find enough time to keep up the pace. We’ve seen many online businesses develop products to support Pligg recently. Selling everything from custom templates and modules, to support and installation. This is a clear example that with the proper team in place, Pligg.com could easily dominate the other markets in this area. Pligg has even created a shop where users could purchase modules, templates and services, but this feature has yet to be launched.
All serious bids should be made through the Sedo.com listing or by contacting me through the forum.
Make Money With Yahoo Answers – Q & A Responses
In my post the other day Make Money With Yahoo Answers, I had stated that I would be open for a Q & A session. I have received all the questions and will answer them now based on my experiences and speculations I have.
Question 1. When answering your questions do you send them to the
CPAs direct link? Or are you making a landing page
with the link on it?
Looks like a strategy based question from someone who looks serious on implementing with Answers :). Based on my own experience I have not used landing pages. In the beginning, I was sending traffic to my own sites with a my domains. Since using this with lead generation networks, all I really do is use a generic domain and make a sub-domain on it. I then setup redirection for the subdomain via CPanel. This is the fastest way for me to handle it, and the staff member who I have working there just has a set of links to the various offers, making their job easier to answer questions.
Question 2. Are you seeing what other people are asking and then
ask the same type of questions?
In a way yes and in a way no. I am a really quick learner, but I have also been in the industry a bit now and I feel I have a pretty good understanding on what will work and what will not, before I even try it. If your going to go that route, you could probably phrase your questions a bit differently, and still achieve a popular amount of answers, granted that the question you had just researched was a popular one.
Question 3. When answering other people questions are you sending
them with an affiliate link?
