RSS Email Subscription Now Working

I really dont know what was wrong with the old email form but I have the RSS Email subscriptions working now. If you have tried in the past and it did not work, feel free to give it a go today. If you have any problems, shoot me an email via the contact form. I think the reason for the subscriber count staying normal is because of this. Ahh well, I’m still holding the contest except I am paying out for the RSS subscribers no matter what. With all the changes, a bad subscription form, and just not knowing exactly what has been going on with my Feedburner, I thought I would reward those prizes anyway.

But tell them now! The subscribe by email feature is working.

Information Production At Warp Speed

 {Edit – This post is merely meant as educational. This post does not encourage copyright theft.}

Widely known but heavily underutilized and nobody has brought it up on the blog or forum so I will go ahead and cover this easy method of producing information products. I would like to say right now that I do not produce nor intend on producing information products. I tried it once and totally got burned by a buyer. However I feel outside the Internet Marketing realm there are a ton of actually good ebooks out there. There is also a lot of money to be made. If I decided to sit back and withhold something I know is valuable just because I do not use it for my own financial gain then that kind of makes me a hypocrite. Besides, if I am not doing it and you like to produce ebooks than I rather see someone make money with it instead of it just floating about and you not knowing about it.

Without further rambling, I want to first remind you of a great niche research tool that is completely free and only requires that you have eyesight and a little bit of your *out of box thinking* cap turned on. In addition to this niche tool I will also refer back to the niche we focused on, which was *Diabetic Recipes*. (It’s imperative you read that last linked article) for you to completely understand where I am going with this.

I showed you killer ways to find a niche that has active discussions but I also provided you the means to get all the information necessary to solve this niche’s problems. In this case diabetics were looking for foods and recipes to eat healthier. While I pointed out that you could basically take diabetic recipe ideas from files and samples easily, here’s another great way to just grab more ideas from information that has already been published.

BookMark Money Blog

I do not know who owns BookMark Money but they have referenced me twice and today I tried to repay the favor. Dont think I am shutting you out, I try to comment everyone I can. However, your blog is not allowing me to comment and there is no contact form. So dont think I am not trying to message you back…it’s just that I cant. :)

Yahoo Search Now Allows Direct Linking

It has been done. I caught an email off the CJ (Commission Junction) Newsletter Wire this morning that stated the following:

After more than six months in the making and much customer feedback and testing, we are pleased to announce that Yahoo! Search Marketing (YSM) has recently updated its editorial policies and will now allow U.S. publishers to direct link to their advertisers. In the past, YSM’s editorial policy prevented publishers from linking directly to their advertiser partners and required that traffic be sent first to the publisher’s Web site. The new policy eliminates this restriction and opens a much broader search marketing opportunity for publishers.

This YSM policy change is the result of a strong relationship between Commission Junction and YSM. We have spent more than six months working with YSM to enact the new editorial policy and are very pleased that this effort has resulted in changes that are sure to create opportunities for our publishers and advertisers.

We find this policy change exciting on several levels. First, this is a significant shift for YSM and could be a great opportunity for your search marketing campaigns. Second, you heard it here first – YSM has asked us to communicate this change to the affiliate community. Third, the work we’ve done with YSM on this policy change is just another example of our commitment to listening to and speaking up for our publishers.

So do we jump up and down and thank the search marketing gods that Yahoo has finally introduced a method the ole Google Casher’s like?

Creating Affiliate Lists Within Kaboodle

Here’s where you have to decide if you want to be the lazy affiliate or actually use Kaboodle to your full advantage being an Affiliate Marketer. There is nothing wrong with being the lazy affiliate here, I actually encourage it. However if you have your own storefronts, mashups, and/or datafeed sites than you will appreciate the fact that after constructing your site, you know the biggest part is getting traffic, links and ultimately sales. By adding each product from your own webpages you really get the benefits of built in Kaboodle traffic seeing your products, clicking over to your webpages and maybe purchasing something. You also get the benefit of getting deep links to each of your product pages. It’s like Parasite SEO on steriods.

The fast way of adding products:

The Kaboodle toolbar makes it very fast. When I say fast, I nearly dropped a load when I realized how fast you can make lists. If I were to set at my computer all day just grabbing affiliate links and adding them thru the toolbar, I have no doubt in my mind I could list at least 500 products. I think my ass would be really sore and I know I would probably suffer a boredom seizure (Do these exist?). The only argument I have with the toolbar is the lack of editing you can do. Adding with the toolbar creates a thumbnail of the product you are promoting. Just download the toolbar and read the little documentation. It’s self-explanatory.

So what do you need to do?
