I’m going to tell you how I do it. You can do this any way you like. In fact, Ruck has posted some very helpful information in regards to YouTube video ripping in the past. He has even posted a video on YouTube in November of 2007 on this subject. Check it out.

After I find a niche to promote I build my landing page. For example sake I’m going to talk about a “Political Poll”. Some example question would be:

• Is the US ready for a Female President?
• Is Hillary worthy enough to be the first Female President?
• Who would make a better President, Obama or Hillary?
• Will Hillary officially give up the race?

Those are just some example for polls that we can use. The next step is to gather a domain name. Now, I wouldn’t necessarily gather a domain name in regards to a specific candidate. Instead I would buy up a general political related domain name.

Drop your poll onto the domain. If you want to get your split testing done quick create 4 versions of your poll with different colors. Poll Factory makes this a simple thing to do. You can also create versions of your poll will different patter (the words you have on the page), different images, different RSS feeds/content, etc. Rotate about 5 of those polls through the iFramer/Rotator so that you can get a good split testing in.

Now, goto YouTube, click on the video tab. This is essentially the hub of the website. Here you can access all videos that YouTube has. You can even get them sorted for you by

• Featured
• Rising Videos
• Most Discussed
• Most Recent
• Most Responded
• Most Viewed
• Top Favorites
• Top Rated

This is cool because we can select the category we want and then find the video that is most viewed… top favorite, most discussed… Whatever we want to find basically. For the example I’m using in this post I would navigate to the “News and Politics” category on the left side. Once you select your category you can then browse to the ranking that you want. In other words to the top rated news and politics video. Now these are the videos for Today. So these would be the top rated videos for Today. I like to select the “Rising Videos” category. These are videos that are climbing the YouTube ladder.

Select whatever video you want, then jump over to Vixy.net . Thats a nice little site that I found for taking YouTube videos from YouTube and putting them right to your desk top. Their server is sometimes busy… But if you wait 30 seconds it should be good to go. Now, because I have a Mac I select MP4 or MOV from the drop down menu. But because most of you have Windows, you will most likely want to select AVI. It should be automatically selected for you.

Now, Ruck mentioned in a post about YouTube a program called “Video Watermark Factory“. That’s the program Ruck suggests and uses for watermarking your videos. But because I have a Mac I just open up iMovie and add a watermark.

Don’t just add the watermark in the beginning or at the end. Your watermark should be throughout the video. Some of the videos that I have show my watermark 100% of the time, others show my watermark at key moments (close up shots, funny moments, etc.)

Your watermark can say “YourDomain.com”, “http://www.YourDomain.com” or whatever you want it to. I prefer the clean look so I just use “YourDomain.com”. Don’t forget to add your domain name in the description of the video. This is key because people will be able to easily click your link and get taken right to your site. I have noticed that my CTR on video websites is far higher than with PPC. Just make sure you get an enticing video that engages the viewer. A “rising” video if you will!

That’s all I do. Some morons are putting the word free in there so it’s only a matter of time before they are swiftly brought back down to earth. However the key here is LOTS of videos and destroy all the amateurs out there doing it. So how do you do that? Easy. I will tell you how here in a minute. First off you should know that in order to beat everyone else, you can’t think like everyone else. Start thinking about how people are doing things and how you can do it better. In regards to this simple stupid but VERY profitable method here’s exactly what I do.

1. To take care of the video sites I have 4 programs.

• Ultraget
• Total Video Converter
• Video Watermark Factory
• Video Post Robot

Google them. You can use anything you want in regards to these tools, these are just what I use.

With Ultraget I quickly take 5 Youtube videos and download them and they come out as FLV’s. I then mass import all 5 videos into Total Video Converter and convert them into MPEG’s. I then take these converted videos and mass import them into Video Watermark Factory and watermark each video with what I said above. I simply have my domain forwarded to a ringtone Affiliate link. I take my newly watermarked video and setup 5 quick projects in Video Post Robot. This tool uploads to 27 video sharing sites at once. Setup the videos to upload every hour for however many you have. Personally, I like to do 15-20 videos a week to the video sharing sites per account.

Now…

You should have save all these watermarked videos into a folder. Open up Limewire and every other P2P application you have and set the folder to be shared. Make sure to ALWAYS have the artist and song name in the title. This is how people find things on Limewire. The video should be laid with keywords pertaining to the artist and song.

Next…

Upload all the videos to torrent sites. Personally I have my own trackers and storage service. On my T1 line when I did this I was transfering anywhere from 350-400 Gigs a month. Now I can transfer over 2000 gigs a month and it does not even use my connection.

Scale it out, there are more ways to do this, this is just how I do it. 5 videos takes me about 30 minutes a day to completely setup and run.

Start thinking outside the box on this too. You can upload movie pieces and trailers and promote a Blockbuster or Netflix offer. You can even promote something like Columbia House Cd’s. For gaming there is Gamefly if you were uploading gaming vids. Tons of opportunity here but to grab it you have to be one step ahead of everyone else AND be producing on a large and VERY fast level. You can still make $100 a day but that’s peanuts.

As far as the quality of traffic is concerned since your watermarking they have to type your domain in so they are somewhat interested.

This article is intended for people already experienced in these types of methods. If you got a problem with it simply move on.

There is nothing really secret about this. I use 4 programs (hence the 4 step process). If I am not mistaken then all of them offer a free trial. Now, on the basis of truly believing in these programs and to give you an unbiased opinion and details of these programs and how to use them to your fullest advantage, I have included ALL outgoing links in this post as NON-AFFILIATE links.

*Disclaimer* — I use very fast and efficient means of getting videos. I do not horse around and make my own videos for these methods. I did at the first and it takes to long and I prefer hundreds of dollars over a few dollar commissions everyday. So if you have a problem with taking other people’s videos then this is probably not for you. You can however make your own videos, but at the sheer speed and volume I can do in less than 30 minutes a day your results will most likely be dramatically stunted. I don’t advise stealing people’s videos, but I do advise that you pull your socks up (so to speak) if you want to use this method to its full potential.

Step 1. – You will need a program that can easily download videos for you in a very fast timeset. For this I use a program called Ultraget. This program is COMPLETELY free. It is a program that will allow you to download any Youtube video. Just go to the site, it is very self-explanatory. I like to do batches of a dozen videos at a time. I quickly go over to Youtube and check out the recent videos. I always go for videos that do not look to personal. I don’t want copyright problems, so wrecks, accidents, sports and pets are great for this.

Step 2. – You need a video converter. The idea is to watermark all your videos with a link to the site you want displayed throughout the video. This is CRITICAL. ALWAYS have the website link displayed nicely within the video. Think about the domain for this, the more catchy the domain is the more likely people will type into their browser. This works great for redirects as you are getting only type in traffic. You could probably use this for domain parking as well. I never have, but I know a friend that does. He may comment on this later. So knowing that you need a video converter, I personally use a program called Total Video Converter. The program is offered on a trial basis. I believe it lasts 15 or 30 days (don’t quote me on that). It will easily pay for itself in just a few days.

When you use Ultraget to download Youtube vids they will download as FLV files. You just add these files in Total Video Converter and I personally found that converting to MPEG is the easiest and smoothest. This works great for all 27 video sites you will be uploading back to later on. So download and convert to MPEG and save those new files in a folder. It is now time to watermark them with a domain.

Step 3. – Watermarking videos could not be any easier than it is with Video Watermark Factory. Again this program has a free trial, but I don’t know how good it is, I just bought it outright. After downloading from Ultraget, and then converting to MPEG with Total Video Converter, you simply import your MPEG files in Watermark Factory and here you can edit them or add your watermark. It’s very simple.

Step 4. – Now that we have downloaded, converted and watermarked, it’s time to take these videos and upload them to the web video sites. I use a program called Video Post Robot. I believe it also has a free trial, but I simply pay my monthly membership. If you do any type of video marketing then you will understand that this payment is peanuts compared to the profit you are pulling. Quite simply, this program uploads your videos to 27 video sharing sites on the web. Google, Youtube, Veoh, Dailymotion, Metacafe. There are tons of them and each site has tons of users.

The program itself is very simple. However when you first get it, you will have to sit down and sign up for an account to each site. I did all 27 in about 30 minutes. I now have multiple accounts on these sites, which is also a very good idea. Heck you could even make niches and and account for each. The sheer amount of traffic you can and will receive is insane. It’s all so simple to do. After you have your accounts, you simply make a project for each video and pick the categories to upload to for each video site. I can do about a dozen videos start to finish in around 30 minutes using these tactics. I hope you find this helpful. Other than the cost of a few programs, you can easily have thousands of visitors to your site in just minutes.

Of course how you market and what niches you target will determine your success, but everyone likes to make more money, people go to video sites for entertainment so games have worked great. Screensavers, wallpapers, layouts, certain niche focused health products (think weight loss, acne) and I have even heard of people doing quite well in the adult niches (obviously). I do not engage in the adult niches with video marketing but it works.

*Note* One thing I like to do when ripping youtube vids is that if I get the feeling that uploading the same video back to youtube will cause problems, I simply don’t upload it in Video Post Robot. There are 26 other sites you can upload it to. :)

BlipTv destroyed everyone. Blip’s Performance was actually quite astonishing. With features such as length limits of 100MB/None for certain types of accounts, User storage is unlimited, A Superior Revenue sharing model and they convert files to flash 8, unlike YouTube unless I am unaware still only converts to Flash 7.

In the performance department of Blip, the Video and Audio quality was rated Superior, ease of uploading videos rated at Very Good, Embedded player design rated very good, and the sharing options rated in at Superior.

PC World when on to quote:

Video Quality: Blip.tv gets the nod here because it permits users to stream and download the original, high-quality file. Stage6′s DivX (which came in second) also got high marks. Besides streaming and downloading high quality videos Blip also let’s you make videos that are ideal for iPods’ and cellphone playback available.

The thing that surprised me was that Youtube came in at #7. Youtube is a little behind because it still uses the lower-quality Flash 7 format, (which relies on the older Sorensen Spark Codec). With this in mind Youtube’s video and audio quality were knocked down as fair/very good. PC World must not be aware of the director accounts as they rated the upload limit as 100MB/10min. With a director’s account the upload is permitted as unlimited. Revenue sharing also took a hit as Youtube only allows selected users at the time of the article.
