THIS OFFER IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE

The Landing Page Tutorial will continue later this week.

Ok, so we told you we had some good things in store for you. Well, here is one. We have decided to help our readers and anyone else who is interested in learning how to build a profitable online PPC business (or to help you expand your current one) and we will do it for FREE! You will not pay us a penny! Of course there are requirements and let me explain the only way we are capable of doing this. There has to be a way for us, Kris and I, to be rewarded for the huge amount of time involved from answering questions one on one. So here is how it works.

Requirements

1. You must create an account with MarketLeverage through this link –>MarketLeverage <– or have already created an account through this blog in the past. If you already have an account with MarketLeverage that isn’t underneath us and you still want to join the Free PPC Mentoring, you must contact me via the contact form. Basically, we are able to make the mentoring completely FREE for you, only if we are able to receive referral commissions from you being underneath us. We are not trying to hide this, nor are we trying to “Bank” off of you. But there has to be some return on our time that we will have to put into this. Also, if you have been too cheap to sign up for PPC Classroom, The Black Ink Project or PPC-Coach, then this is an alternative for you. But don’t think we are going to let you sign up, help you and you never make a dollar with MarketLeverage. So read the next requirement.

2. To maintain your free access into the PRIVATE PPC MENTORING section of the forum, you must generate atleast $20/month in gross revenue on MarketLeverage. That is simply one sale or a few small sales a month. That is totally easy for even a new person and will help us to eliminate people who will just waste our time and never benefit from our help. Also, it will show us who is serious and really wants to succeed.

That is all the requirements that you must accept to apply for the mentoring help. Kris and I enjoy helping people and as long as we can help and still be compensated for the time we take away from our own business, we are more than happy to help you build a business and succeed online.

BONUS for PPC Mentoring Students

You will also have full access to an SEO mentoring section and for those students who learn to master PPC and build up to 10K or more a month, will gain EXTREMELY EXCLUSIVE access to a PPV Mentoring Section, where you will be able to explode your profits many times over!

If your CD number is listed below, send a message to kris@cashtactics.net with the subject line saying “PPC Mentoring” and Kris will add you so that you will have access to the Private Section of the forum. Currently there is no information in this section of the forum. But there will be very soon. The main idea of this is for you to be able to ask specific questions of any kind and we will directly answer them or point you to the right location to find the answer. Your success = Our Success = We All Happy! We will also release some exclusive tips and strategies that you won’t find floating around the internet. All information shared in the private section of the forum will be exclusively for the students who join it and no others!

ATTENTION – Please Include Your Forum Name and the MarketLeverage CD# When Emailing KRIS So That We Can Add You. Thanks!

We hope this will help to motivate you and bring you to where you want to be in your online ventures. So Apply Now —–> MarketLeverage <—–!

We all love backlinks. No really we do. I know I just got done telling you some stuff about backlinks up there in bold lettering… But still. This is a great technique that you can use. And I’m sure all of you can think of other uses for some of these tools I’m going to share with you.

This technique that I am going to show you will help you get some link juice from RSS feeds. It is basically a technique where you take an RSS feed and send it out to several different RSS Aggregators.

_____________________________________

Jump over to RSS Mix <–click that….

Add Several different RSS feeds to the list.

Your Blog RSS Feed

Your ezine article feed

Your Social Bookmark site feeds

You can literally add anything to the RSS feed. Videos, podcasts, articles, whatever you want!
If you don’t have an RSS feed for your website then you need to head over to Dapper.net to create one from your existing content. These feeds should be in your niche and to YOUR sites. Don’t gather feeds from someone elses content. That would defeat the purpose of getting YOURSELF backlinks.

Click create. This will generate a new RSS feed. The new RSS feed is filled with the RSS feeds that you inserted. It basically combined everything for you and put it into one easy to use feed :)

Jump over to RSS Aggregators and submit your new pumped up RSS feed!
Here is a list of sites you can use!

This isn’t something that you should repeat over and over again for a site. Just hit it once and move on.

Sorry it has taken me a bit to get on here. I have a client that is having some major SEO issues. If you didn’t notice. Google went around a few days back and started hitting people hard. So I’ve been really working hard to help this client get his rankings back in the search engines.

I promise I haven’t forgotten about the landing page I said I would show you. I’ll get it up tomorrow evening. (It’s 11:00 pm right now).

Working with this client of mine really made me think about some SEO factors that I know about… But have been slacking on. When you are trying to optimize your site for a specific keyword you have to realize that there are other people online that are trying to do the same thing for their website… for the EXACT same keyword/phrase. If you leave a website site without working on it… You will have problems.

Take my client for example. He is using me for SEO Consultation. In other words I find out why his competition is ranked higher than him. I then let him know what I feel is the best action for him to take in order to dominate the keyword/phrase. My client did an excellent job of implementing my strategy for his website. However, that is all he did. He took my suggestions and then left the site alone. He did the bare minimum. So when time came, his competition had done more work. They found more link partners, they had a higher keyword to content ratio… They were just overall better than him.

This isn’t an uncommon thing. Often times we get #1 in Google for some keyword and we think all is well. We start to think “GREAT, I can move onto the next keyword” and we forget about all of the work we put into that first keyword. This is TERRIBLE!!!! Why work hard and then let it goto waste as your competition works even harder to out do you.

When you finally reach your goal in SEO don’t just stop. Continue improving. Continue finding links back. Continue adding content. Don’t just be a step ahead of your competition, be a mile ahead. That way when the great Google comes around… You have no worries. Your website is still number one because you are so much better then the competition.

Sorry thats my little rant for today. I promise to be back on track tomorrow.

While I was in Florida I had the opportunity to *peak* in on some things my partners and friends were doing on there own. While networking is great there, are tons of things we (as marketers) almost have to keep to ourselves. A perfect example would be that I will be assisting in some Adwords Campaigns with some of my partners however I would not dare to let them login into my accounts. Pure and simple, that’s a no-no.

I had the chance to see an awesome Article Directory by one of my partners. He has his directory being fueled by Article Marketer with automatic *drip in* articles that are added daily. The one thing I immediately noticed though is that the directory just like hundreds if not thousands of other directories out there are severely lacking the extra effort needed to becoming a power house such as Ezine Articles or SearchWarp. You probably can and will do well (I have no idea) with just a few generic directories if your wanting to yank in that Adsense income. Personally as I see Adsense only paying in pennies (ok sometimes more but woo-hoo) I would have to create a few directories that were updated consistently with Content. While this has been and generally is the idea, try utilizing what I am about to tell you and watch your results. I bet you will be pleasantly surprised.

First

You need to get a good script. There are many out there but I believe the most famous is the Article Dashboard Script. I personally do not like this script although the ad placement is pretty good. However, I am sick of seeing these float around the web so I can only imagine their are tons of them. Dare to be different and try getting something that is less used. If you got to spend money, then you got to spend money. If you can get a script that knocks your socks off and everyone else is being a cheap ass then chances are your script won’t be floating around as much. Then of course you can always go have your own made. Just get something different or a little bit more different than the norm.

Second

This is really the big thing. Instead of focusing on general article directories (like most people do), start using your head and focusing more on niche specific article sites. There are quite a few categories in Article Marketer alone that you could target to get your site off the ground. If you focus on a general article directory then you have to fight against sites such as Ezine Articles, SearchWarp, Article City, Goarticles and the list goes on. Chances are with all of your online endeavors it will probably take at least a year to establish a corresponding prominence like them. However, a great idea would to purchase yourself a high pagerank domain if you could. Places such as Sitepoint or Digital Point are great places to spot a domain. However in doing so you will get a domain already named and that probably defeats the whole purpose of registering something catchy and easily remember. You should really focus on niche specific themed article sites though because there are a lot less of those than there are general directories.

Third

SEO is probably why most people get into the Article Directory business in the first place. I know that is exactly the reason I am gearing up for both of my directories. I want to rely on SEO heavily to garner Search Engine Rankings so my incoming traffic runs on autopilot. However, those days are not anywhere near what they used to be. The power of *word-of-mouth* can be a beautiful thing. If you have never experienced it then you probably never created anything online worth talking about. (I apologize for that kick to the gnads). Ezine Articles and SearchWarp go above and beyond providing social interaction on their site. They rate authors and give out prizes sometimes when you reach a certain level. I know for a fact because I have to Ezine Article Mugs from two pen names. Now I am not saying to pour a whole bunch of money into such promotions because let’s face it…they most likely have staff members and we won’t. You should definitely provide something within your article directory that should serve as some type of incentive to encourage other authors. This will get authors telling their friends and talking about your directory in other forums.

The idea with SEO is to not just rely on the directory to funnel traffic to itself thru the SERP’s. You should also develop a traffic funnel around the directory just like you would with any other site. I think the common myth around the web is that if you have this huge article directory then your set for free Search Traffic and Adsense clicks. While I won’t deny that this *can* be true because I have seen it firsthand from other directory owners, you really have to decide if you want to be just another directory owner or not. If your content with auto dripping articles into your directory that are copied on hundreds of other sites, directories and blogs around the web then this next part is not for you.

Developing The Funnel

The cool idea about having a niche specific article directory is that you have something you can treat as your baby. If your building those Article Dashboard type directories that are fugly and unoriginal then it’s pretty hard to get a tingling feeling in your feet everytime you look at it. Making money with something you don’t even like is one of the hardest things to do and it’s horrible for your moral.

Now if you build something that you can look at each day and say “Damn, I rock” then your going to feel a whole lot better in making your directory better than everyone else’s. Even if you don’t want to be better than everyone else, at least people will look at it and take notice that you have put some effort into it.

Developing a traffic funnel around your directory is (IMO) the ultimate way to really dominate some Search Engine rankings AND get the word of mouth going about the features that are associated with your directory. Attaching a blog to a folder is a really great way to serve as a source of incoming links that can be anchor texted to your articles. The only bad thing here is that your helping author articles rank highly in search engines by this HOWEVER you can this to your advantage as well. Your directory will obviously get the traffic but you can even have it featured on your directory that you do this and this will let the authors know that this is added benefit to them. You can even take this a step further by having an auto blog that posts excerpts from your new articles and have a WordPress plugin (Such as ALinks I believe) that has anchor text internal links to certain article categories within your niche directory.

I say to put the blog in a folder because a folder serves as a good source of internal linking structure. If you were to put the blog on a subdomain then it would be looked upon as a root source and therefore an incoming link instead of an internal. All Search Engines are different and all SEO’s have their own opinions (and we could fight this all day) but that is the way I have built everything since I been online and never been disappointed.

Along with a blog, you could also develop a site or link directory. Preferably I think a site directory would be more beneficial and most likely entice authors to interact a little more. By having authors doing their website/blog promotions within their author resource link you could also have a feature on your directory letting authors know about your free site submissions to your niche directory. This can work wonders and as your network grows along and around your article site you will be providing a power packed source for Google and other engines to love.

Making Money

There are a lot of ways to make money with an article directory but it seems Contextual Ads such as Adsense are among the most popular. What ever you decide you should know that instead of just a skinny article directory you will now have a content packed blog and a site directory that will also garner traffic. Selling advertising space has never been my thing but looking at this model it seems that with some proper marketing you could probably make a pretty good amount just from selling space. Popular affiliate programs around the content work great as well, but you could even put some Pay Per Lead offers around the categories as well. Some mortgage offers pay around $50-$60 per lead and I have promoted dating offers that have paid over $5 per free profile. There are tons of ways to monetize but getting the traffic is the hardest part.

This is just a general overview of my idea I am incorporating to my upcoming article directories. There could be more things out there that I didn’t even touch on such as Built In Web2.0 Traffic. Utilizing sites such as Blogger, Weebly, Squidoo and your Social Network profiles are other great ways to get a lot of visitors fast to check out your masterpiece.

I have been pondering this thought for over a month now. I would like to point out right now that this is my own thinking and is not set in stone. Please do not take this as SEO advice. It has not happened yet, and may never happen. However, I feel I need to comment on this because there are just so many things that lead me to believe that this could in fact happen.

One of the greatest things I have ever done was saved money by making subdomains off a domain. However, as changes have occurred over the last year, I feel Google is looking to maybe change that up. Unfortunately for me, I could be talking out my ass and in fact be completely wrong. I sure hope so. As someone who practices SEO like it was a religion though, this is shit that flows thru this mind of mine everyday.

Over the last year, I have seen Google knock the snot out of MFA’s (made for adsense) sites and then turn around later and knock the piss out of direct links leading to Email and Zip submits. This has not only hurt some of my income but it also has slowed me down in expanding my income as well. Now, I have to create even more landing pages instead of trying to squeeze shit by the Internet Gods. However, the alternatives of breaking their TOS with cloaks has befallen me this year, and I made quite a bit of money. Utilizing redirects and offer framing has proved to be quite profitable as well.

Then again, another change comes upon us and Google tells me yet again that my landing pages are not good enough. Now I need to establish a branding awareness such as a contact, About, TOS, Privacy and Disclaimer page. I can still get by without this, but I am into optimizing my Search campaigns quality scores the best I can, so I comply. What I have now is not even a landing page. Now I have a landing site.

So even though I have complied I get hit yet again. Now Google wants to provide a great user experience on my site. Unfortunately for me when I am framing offers I either make money or get a high bounce rate. Them little devils over at Google see this, and try to not think otherwise. I have invested THOUSANDS of dollars this year alone just to believe this. So now I have to provide good content on my landing page/sites. WOW> So much work to advertise one little offer.

I got into the habit of buying generic domains and creating subdomains off them. For the last 6 months I did just fine. However as I look forward to the future I can only sit and ponder if the idea of running 100 subdomains on a generic domain will come to an end. With all the changes Google has done this year I wonder if my time is limited.

I am at the point now that the next things I see Google taking into account are:

How often content is updated

Pagerank

Quality and Frequency of Incoming links

So far I have built two sites this way. One of the best things I have done is create a WordPress site with a WordPress blog as well. I like to make the blog on a folder because instead of acting as separate root (subdomain) I have been looked at as giving a good internal linking structure.

Like I said, I don’t know if subdomains will undergo such a change, but with all the things that have changed this year, I would not put it past Google to do something like this. I am already gearing up for it. Although it costs more money in domains, it has made my last two Adwords campaigns run with Great Quality Scores without a hitch.

Another thing to factor in is the amount of spam and Blackhat SEO that goes on with Subdomains. If you think Google is not aware, then your sadly mistaken. If we also look at that Google has eliminated their supplemental results you can bet your ass that they are watching what pops up in their search pages a lot more closely. I would say more closely than ever now. With no supplemental index, their will be a time (for awhile) that Blackhatters will have their fun. However, judging from the changes over this past year, it looks like that complying now and abiding by the unspoken rules will prove to be the deciding factor in longevity. We’ll just have to wait and see I guess.

I went thru my archives and hand picked some posts I thought were pretty good before we head into the New Year. Enjoy!

Back In August I gave some general tips over making money with P2P Networks and Torrents. Torrents are still alive and kicking and I have not really spoken of them since this last post. I really should but the fact of the matter is that this method is very petty and so very easy to do. However, I bet 99% of the people who read this post probably didn’t even try it or quickly gave up on it. Let’s take a look at just one program I promoted with these petty torrent methods.

Here are payments for the last 6 months. For a method so easy I sure seen a lot of bitching from people who said “it’s too much work”. Here’s what happens when you dedicate yourself to a project for a couple of hours a week no matter how petty, simple and boring it is.

Also in August, I wrote a free report detailing how I go about getting high rankings for articles. I normally do not write my own articles but I do however use the methods described because it seems nobody can get it right even with a guide. I guess that just goes to show that what works for someone, may not necessarily work for another. However, the guide is free and it’s a great read….(IMO). :)

In September I also introduced a way to advertise your blog cheaply utilizing Stumbleupon. I have tested this out a few times and it seems to work well. When I say that, what I really mean is that as cheap as it is, you get back about the same return. However, it’s a great traffic building method and I am sure the right type of blog will make the difference.

Also in September I touched a bit on using Google Groups. Both Google and Yahoo Groups are goldmines, and I bet since I haven’t talked about them recently that most people don’t utilize these services. This is a huge mistake. Did you know that if you have a Yahoo Group you can sign up for Article Marketer and have yourself to be put in their distribution queue? Or how about having your own article directory and being in their submission queue? Who cares if it’s duplicate content, your going to have so much of it, your not going to be able to avoid NOT getting traffic. Spamming the groups is always fun for quick cash too. Who does that though? The power is in having your own group.

In October I finally revealed what led me to believe I could work fulltime online. It seems the post touched a few nerves. That was really the point. If a dumb redneck from Kansas can make half a million dollars online in his first full year exclusively online, so can you.

I also did my 5 day case study with Copeac. If you haven’t signed up with Copeac, then you really need to. They are a great network and I haven’t had any problems with them so far. However, I am only running two of their offers on their network and these offers are on one of my lower trafficked websites. However, I have squeezed a little over $1,400.00 just by placing a couple of banners on a site.

It was during this same month that I also revealed some stats on one of my “baby” sites. Say what you will about such sites, but someone has to sell the dream. I revealed a net profit of over $159,000.00 that this site has pulled. This site is ran between a partner and I. We launched the site in late January of 2007. We haven’t added it up yet but between membership sales and CPA from within the site, the newsletter and monthly broadcasts, I would bet that it’s at least over the $200,00 net profit mark.

I am kind of hoping to see if it’s a quarter million. How cool would that be? One night of work with a partner yields a website that does a quarter million dollars in less than a year. For all the doubters out there, this stat alone is enough to keep you twiddling your thumbs at your day job. For everyone else it should serve as inspiration. It can be done, but it could NOT be done without the support of our affiliates.

We have held the #1 best selling product in the PayDotCom Marketplace with this site since February and NOBODY has even come close to touching us. Between fees and affiliate payouts, I would say we done damn near $600,000.00 total. Not too shabby.

We also have a replica membership site on Clickbank as well. This is called affiliate dominance. I don’t really care for half-assing it. I prefer pure market dominance.

In November I introduced my 4 step video marketing method. This is truly some of the easiest money I have ever made and there are many variations to monetize this with. Domain parking, affiliate marketing, and Pay Per Lead are just a few. I have actually built a few mini sites that are completely ran using these methods. I get a little bit of search traffic, but I can just easily take videos, watermark them and upload to over 25 sites with just a few clicks. There’s a little more to it than that, but not much. A really simple method.

I also tested out a new PPC advertising platform called Clickriver. If memory serves me right, I made about $1,000.00 before Clickriver changed up their system. You were allowed to place advertisements within Amazon’s marketplace. However, Amazon must have felt that they were sending too many people out and Clickriver quickly changed their TOS and how to advertise. A sad day really, because I was truly rocking out pretty good with them.

I also gave out my exact method to utilizing Yahoo Buzz to gauge market trends. Along with Yahoo Buzz their is also Google Trends and both of them have proved to be real money makers for me. Hell, I would go as far to say that about 25% of my PPC campaigns were based off these after the later part of August.

In December I introduced how to rock out with an affiliate mashup. It was a basic principle aimed at more advanced marketers. The concept is still pretty new to me however both of the mashup sites I own have generated me a nice amount over the last couple of months:

Like I said the concept is still very fresh in my mind and am still working harder than ever on refining it. With just a couple of mashups and the traffic methods of PPC and SEO this is not a bad return so far.

I feel that I could definitely get a few more and turn these sites into an easy $100,000 a year business. That’s the plan anyhow.

It was in December that I also introduced some ideas for how I handle my Parasite SEO. Most people will try to tell you that this is worthless or for a small return. However, they were obviously doing it wrong or made it very hard on themselves. One of the first things I did with my mashup sites was link them with authoritative links from high traffic and good pagerank sites. It works, don’t let anyone tell you it doesn’t. It may be a bit time consuming at first, but it can be easily outsourced.

Of course there was also the Zero 2 Hero – 60 Days To List Building course that I wrote as well. This is by far one of the easiest methods to build email lists. However, it seemed most of the people that tried this didn’t have a clue as to what email list building was all about. Unfortunately, the course was not about how to email market but rather how to build email lists. It was sad that the #1 ebook I used in the method went off the shelf, but hey, that’s tough love. I was able to quickly pick up another book, before I decided to put my own together.

Well, that is just a few posts and a little bit of the money I made over my first full year working exclusively online. Anyone that tells you that this is hard is only half true. Most of the people that tell you that making money online is hard, usually aren’t making this type of money. Yea, I work a lot of hours, probably more than most, but that is what happens when you love your job. So keep plugging away and I hope to write up some more great ideas and methods as we progress into 2008.

I caught a post over at Josh Spaulding‘s titled Link Building Campaigns – Do You Need One?. It really reminded me of all my travels throughout forums and seeing people write about “doing this” “don’t do that” and all that other mumbo jumbo. It seems like almost every-time I seen someone step up to the plate and portray them-self as a “knowitall”, they end up writing something that doesn’t even make sense. Josh was quick to point out that when people tell you that if you make good content, then you don’t need to build links, they are most likely (in my own words) full of shit.

I recommended this post because I have actually read almost everything Josh has put out on his blog and the Warrior Forum. The guy is a real class act ETHICAL marketer. I find myself hanging onto his blog during my time of reform. Whether he knows it or not, or ever finds out, he has written a TON of great content that has made me stop and take a long, hard look at myself. I’m not saying that I will ever stop my aggressive marketing tactics, but I have definitely taken a lot of what he says and does and tried to apply it to myself. I don’t know if I will ever completely stop some of my aggressive (aka blackhat) marketing, but I have definitely slowed down.

Go read his article and he also posted a link to another great ACCURATE post about proper link building.

Parasite SEO is basically the methods of piggybacking high authority sites thru gain of links, branding and traffic. You could come up with a hundred different variations of Parasite SEO but it all comes down to “If your utilizing high authority sites specifically for your own gain…your a parasite”. Sounds rough right? Who really gives a shit. This game is cutthroat and if you don’t have the twinkies to suck it up and utilize some of these services you can rest assured that others are. When your crying about why your site is not ranking in the Search Engines you can count on that your little whitehat is bearing WAY too much wait for you to even have a chance against people like me. I would consider myself moderate though, there are thousands of webmasters that are more into than I am.

Leeching off high authority sites has been around forever and will continue to be around. Sure Google may bitch-slap these sites from time to time but all they are really doing is weeding out the gnats. See in Parasite SEO you also have gnats. These are people that sit there and make one paragraph posts to their Squidoo lense or a blogger post and hope the world of high rankings and money fall into their laps. Good thing for us that we are Parasites. We have two distinct advantages here.

1. We eat the gnats. Basically we are using the same principles as they are, but we do it better to keep us out of the “shit runs downhill” effect.

2. Since we are parasites we may not be as smart as Google but we don’t have to be. We MASSIVELY outweigh Google in terms of algorithmic changes and learning how to keep gaming their search engine after each new change. How many employees they got? How many webmasters are there gaming the SERP’s? Exactly.

For a lot of people they focus on this type of leeching as a way for the quick buck. I don’t know about you but my time is worth a lot more than creating Squidoo lenses, blogger blogs or hubpages around an affiliate program. As I have said before that I like to build much more larger sites such as a Shopping Comparison site or a mashup. Utilizing the services of high authority is INITIALLY very important to me. When building a new site I have always found that an influx of new links is a good way to get a flag from Big G. Initially the establishment of high authority sites linking into your large site takes a little time. I would say that working on an average of one hour per day on these sites and getting everything to go, I can be done in 1 week. So with 7 hours of work I can have an establishment of auto fed links from trusted sites feeding into my money site. Sounds like a little bit of work right? It is but you are ensuring deep indexing and the juice for rankings off the get-go.

This is just an introduction. I will eventually get to the initial keyword research needed to get started with this. It is imperative that you have a site you want to promote already built. Going off the theme of the site we will establish a large keyword base that doesn’t have a lot of competition in the search engines so that we can build our parasitic sites off of these. For now, here’s a list of some great sites to use:

Squidoo - Blogger – Yahoo 360 Blogs – Hubpages – Geocities – Google Pages – Weebly – WikiPedia – Twitter - Live Spaces - Tumblr

*Note* Affiliate Marketing on these sites might bring you sales, but there is a whole new world out there when you realize that building these pages for REAL and linking to your big shopping or whatever site is where you will get the longevity value from. Anyone that is using these sites just to market products is working WAY to hard. I have made sales on them myself and at one point even consider doing it on a large scale. Not when you can make an easy 1,000-100,000 page site though. The value is in the links back to get deep indexing on the huge site.

I get a ton of questions all the time about “What’s the best way of article marketing”? I don’t think that their is any best way. I actually sit one side of the fence with this. Yes there are two sides of the fence here. On one side you have the aggressive article marketer who usually has a plan and sticks to it. They realize the possibilites and effects of Parasite SEO (using authority sites to get link juice or piggyback their authority into a funnel to your site). When you have a general idea on what it takes to achieve a ranking for a keyword then you will have a better idea how to gear up your article marketing efforts.

Seperate branding awareness from niche marketing (affiliate marketing etc…). I personally gave up having articles written to promote products. You may ask why, and I am going to give you answer that may offend some but will most likely open your eyes if you have ever struggled in this arena. The reason I do not promote affiliate products anymore directly from my author resource box is because I now have the resources to generate 10′s if not 100′s of thousands of pages for a variety of affiliate programs. Their are so many Ebay, Amazon and other affiliate network API’s and datafeeds that can be used by affiliates that it is almost defeating the purpose of sitting down to write articles or have them written promoting affiliate products. Now I realize some of the more successful affiliate article marketers may argue me on this fact but I have a simple reply. All we really need to do is have a race. Here’s why I would knock the snot out of you.

You have to do initial extensive keyword research just to find terms you THINK you may rank for in the search engines. BOOOOOO

You have to have the resources to pump out a lot of articles to make a substantial amount of money. A simple scenario is how long would it take you to have 100 articles ready to go. Longer than 10 minutes? Yea DUH! Of course it would take longer than 10 minutes, it most likely would take you a few days. Not me, I simply upload a script and voila! Now, all that requires is a few incoming good links and indexing begins like crazy.

Your always taking a chance on thinking you can rank for a keyword. Even though you have 100 low competition competing pages in the engines, there is no guarantee that you will indeed rank for those pages. However, in less than 10 minutes after I upload a storefront or *mashup* as they are being called now, I can almost guarantee that a few hundred of the 10′s of thousands of pages will start to rank in short time for a ton of product related keywords.

Those are just a few scenarios. If your perfectly fine with being a progressive article marketer then most of this will be hogwash to you. If however, you are looking to be an aggressive article marketer, then you need to turn your focus on branding and actually promoting sites that have thousands of pages on them. Stop focusing on “the longtail” and all the bullshit you have ever read about promoting affiliate products thru article marketing and instead start focusing on generating large amounts of product content and submitting your articles with internal links into “hot pages” on your sites or blogs.

I have done it myself. I used to search for those low competition keywords and and focus on finding proper affiliate programs for them, but I can’t ever do that again. What a horrible waste of time and resources that is. I much rather prefer gathering high quality internal links to pages on my sites. This gets the bots to deep index your sites and the more incoming links you are getting, the higher the frequency of reoccuring bot visits. The more times they visit, the more likely they will view your site as one that is growing exponentially.

There are tons of other things involved here but I just wanted to touch base on an intro. I will be updating my own personal Article Marketing Domination guide to include the new ways of utilizing article marketing. I am feeling like crap today so I apologize for the short post.

Notice this:

Not all paid links violate our guidelines. Buying and selling links is a normal part of the economy of the web when done for advertising purposes, and not for manipulation of search results. Links purchased for advertising should be designated as such. This can be done in several ways, such as:

Adding a rel=”nofollow” attribute to the <a> tag

Redirecting the links to an intermediate page that is blocked from search engines with a robots.txt file

So it looks to be ok in selling links if you have the nofollow on them. I am sure this will stir up the blogosphere. Glad it is not one of my money making models. There’s just way to much bullshit to deal with.

I am going to give you a surefire way to dominate small niche markets. The niche can really be anything you want, but I am a fan of specific sub niches of much broader ones. I can assure you though, that putting this traffic plan in motion, your almost guaranteed not to fail. I am going to assume that you can do your own keyword research. If your not up on it, please review the profitable keywords post. I am also going to assume that you can research niches on your own. With that said, I am going to hand over a surefire traffic plan that some lame-wad will probably steal and make a best selling ebook out of.

Without further babbling, here’s a traffic plan sure to make you happy in pants.

Step 1. Your site is all setup and your ready to receive traffic. The obvious thing to do is market and push traffic to it by submitting articles. There are many great places to submit to, but you only need to concentrate on a few things. First, your going to have to separate the articles you want to submit to Ezine Articles and then also set aside the articles you want to set aside for mass distribution. For mass distribution, I personally use Article Marketer as they will submit to over 800 sites and places on the net. Article Marketing is pretty basic, so I will assume you will know what to do.

Step 2. Social Bookmarking is a huge way to get a fast influx of traffic. Personally I use Web2Submitter as it saves loads of time. I could go on and on about where to submit to but I won’t. You need an automated tool for this to save time or you can use the free and popular Onlywire.com. There is a strategy to this and I may regret giving this away but I am going to anyway.

First all the articles that you submit to Ezine Articles should have a great chance of getting first page results in Google on their own. When in doubt you will need 2 accounts for NetScape and Digg. You will be submitting all the articles that you mass submit as “stories” to these two sites. Do not submit the Ezine Article submissions, as I have other plans for those.

So recap so far:

Submit half articles for traffic building to Ezine Articles and other half to Article Marketer

Get an automated Social BookMarking tool such as Web2Submitter

Setup 2 accounts each at Digg and Netscape

All articles submitted to Article Marketer will be submitted as stories to both Netscape and Digg on one of our accounts.

I will not go into a long discussion about high pagerank and authority interlinking and all of that jive. All of you that know me, will understand that I would never waste your time and as said before, this will probably be someone else’s freaking best selling ebook because of the power it harnesses. Your just going to have to trust me :)

Alright now that we have that out of the way, we are going to concentrate on our Ezine Articles. There are automated softwares that can build massive backlinks to your articles, but for the purpose that I want you to do this “legitly” I am not going to give you any of that. I am providing you the most “aggressive” whitehat means of filling your site with traffic during its initial growth period.

With Ezine Articles we are going to setup an interlinking farm of “middle man” sites that link to our article. Yet again, we are going to do this in a manner that we are linking to the article from other high pagerank sites. The first part is to setup a properly optimized ad USFreeAds. I am assuming you know who they are and you know how to post a classified ad there. You will want to link to your article from Usfreeads as well.

Next we head to Squidoo where we will setup a Squidoo lense. Here we will properly optimize a lense for some keywords in our niche and link to our ad on Usfreeads and to our articles on Ezine Articles. I cannot stress enough how important it is when creating a lense to make the text human friendly. Your going to be making a lense in your niche and giving people “anchor text” links to your articles. Using proper anchor text on Squidoo and Usfreeads is a must. All the articles you submitted to Ezine Articles that have the keywords you optimized for must be the keywords you use to link from Usfreeads and Squidoo.

Now we head over to Hubpagesand setup our page. Hubpages is just another medium where you can publish information to the web. We use them though because of the link juice and love Google shows them. Again we are going to link to our Usfreeads, our Squidoo lense and our articles from hubpages. Make your page flow naturally to humans and use anchor text to link out.

Now that all 3 “middle man” sites are setup, it is time to scan them and edit them. We want all of them linking to our articles on Ezine articles but we also want to interlink them as well. So a simple scenario would be our ad on Usfreeads links to our Ezine articles, our lense, and our hubpage. Our Squidoo lense links to our articles, our ad and our hubpage. Then it is the same thing from hubpages.

I want you to notice that we are not selling here. This is not our purpose. I strongly urge you to setup little sites around your niches. I personally use WordPress for all my sites because Google seems to favor them in the Search Engine and they have hundreds of plugins you can use to make your site go viral, build traffic within itself and on its own, and a lot of SEO plugins if your not familiar with onpage SEO optimization.

Another thing to keep in mind is that this is basically just our high pagerank linking strategy. We have great chances of our Usfree ad, our squidoo lense and our hubpage making 1st page of Google for its keywords. On top of that, we have Ezine Articles to count on to pull in another first page listing. To make the pot sweeter, we will have first pages results from Netscape and Digg from our mass submission articles, and then we have all those articles floating the web from 800 places that could be republished and put onto other websites for an awesome backlinking campaign.

You see the smart way to build website traffic is to do it from the start. Most people try to build traffic all thru their days of having the site. With these methods dominating the search results you can build one heck of a subscriber list in a short amount of time.

Oh, but we are not done yet.

Now that we see that we have the search engines dominated let us shift our focus on bringing residual traffic from years to come. Eventually if you do not keep up with everything in the Search Engines you are liable to be overrun with competitors. That is sometimes fine though, as you have already built thru your initial growth period and should have a built a list of subscribers.

Let’s go viral now.

I cannot stress the importance of viral reports. You already have the content probably to write 3-5 reports that you can give away for free. Now in these reports you could include a few affiliate links if you want to. The purpose of the SEO was to build traffic, but the purpose of the viral reports is to build residual traffic and profits at the same time. just take all of the articles you wrote and break them up into mini reports. Always at the end of the book, recommend people to your site to get a complete dose of the niche information given.

You can submit your viral reports anywhere on the net. I personally would submit them to the Warrior Forum, and use filesharing as a ways to get a lot of people visiting. You can use P2P networks such as LimeWire and Kazaa. All you need to do is setup a folder on your desktop with all of your reports in it. I suggest converting them to PDF though, as this seems more professional. Make the title of the folder include keywords from your niche and for what people are searching for. When they run across these, they will download and read them. You can get a ton of word of mouth referrals, and they will also share these with their friends. It is called viral for a reason because, once it stops there is no stopping it. You could even go another step further (and I suggest you do) and upload your reports to torrent sites. You can use sites such as PirateBay and Mininova and literally get hundreds of visitors each day. These are the two largest torrent sites on the net, and really the only two places you need to upload. There are hundreds of other torrents sites that serve as torrent search engines and they all scrape these two sites. So basically just by uploading to the two sites, you could potentially have your reports available for download on hundreds of torrent sites.

We have a new site, lets submit a Press Release

Wow, we already have hordes of traffic coming in from our viral reports and we have automated traffic from the Search Engines coming, so what’s next? Well, I always love to submit a Press Release to PRWeb. As a general rule of thumb, you need to make the release and announcement of your new site “news worthy”. Here are some tips to help you do it:

Optimize your headline for starters. Make it appealing and something you think people will click on to read.

You have to give a basic look into why your site is unique and stands out

Use a picture in your press release as well.

Make sure to include anchor text within the release link to where you want people to go. VERY IMPORTANT.

Include all your contact details and act like a professional

Social Bookmark the Press Release. I cannot stress this enough.

Letting the world know via press release is a great way to gain national exposure. There are free listings and paid listings. I always paid $40 and could not be any happier. You can look up “ways to write a press release” if your unfamiliar with this type of method and website promotion.

Look for niche specific questions and answers

This is truly a goldmine opportunity to get high quality, niche specific visitors. Just go over to Yahoo Answers and type in some keywords for your niche. Answer as many as your allowed (See their guidelines, new accounts is 20 answers daily), and provide a link to your site in the source box. There are literally hundreds of questions being asked everyday over there, and you will be providing information from your site to help them. You can take it even further, and display a link to all your free viral reports as well.

You can also join forums in your niche as well. Just go to Google and type in–> niche keyword “forums”. This will return you a nice list of forums you can join. Hopefully your up to date on forum marketing. I would read their guidelines and join every forum that allows you to have a Signature link. In your signature have a link to your website, and if your crafty, you could have your free reports for download link as well. Participate and help, and it will come back to you 10 fold.

This is just an overview of how to completely obliterate your new website’s initial traffic growth period. There are tons of other things you can do as well, but I have just given you my personal surefire way of getting a lot of traffic right out of the gate.

Dominating Google with the methods outlined is a great way for automated search traffic but, you must follow what I said to a “T”. Anything else and I do not know what your results would be like. I can tell you from past experience, that using the method as suggested has dominated the first page results before. It is not uncommon for me to take one article and have first page listing with an article on Ezine Articles, a Squidoo Lense, a UsFreeAd, a Netscape submitted story and a story on Digg. Getting half of the search results on the first page of Google for your chosen keywords by funneling searchers thru “middle man” sites is the fastest way to get a lot of traffic fast from the search engines. You could spend literally weeks on a keyword from your site to get ranked, and still have to worry about the Google Sandbox, and it would never happen. With the suggested SEO methods, its not a question of “will it happen”, because I assure you it is going to, provided that you do not target keywords with heavy competition.

Hope you enjoyed this,

It was not too long ago when I first started noticing certain terms in the Google Search Engine that were highly competitive were all containing front page results from the site 43Things.com. Terms such as “make money” and ”start my own business” are just a couple. By surfing to their homepage and analyzing the tags being used by members, you can easily take those keyword phrases and plug them into your keyword research tool to find the amount of searches being made. You can also use them to analyze the amount of competition in Google.

It was not to long after I started noticing this, that I found out I was not the only one seeing it as well. A Warrior forum member posted a WSO (warrior special offer) and it brought a lot of marketers into the power that 43 Things can harness in the Search Engines. When the infiltration of marketers made their way to 43 things, they were quick to find out that it was not at all what they thought it to be. Do you know why? It’s because 43 things does INDEED harness great power in the Google Search Engine and marketers could not be open minded enough to look past the dollar signs and put a little
effort into it. Now, I hate seeing someone struggle, but watching the marketers attempt to “market” ( or as I like to call it…lazy ass spamming) I sat back every day and laughed. Let me enlighten on you on how to market effectively on 43 Things.

First – Your going to have to realize it is almost like a Yahoo Answers type of site. Not all the same, but pretty close. People go and participate on 43 Things because they either have “done” something or they want to. It is as simple as that. Some people could want to learn guitar, learn a new language or just meet new people. All 3 of those niches are highly lucrative and the amount of Search Traffic thrown into the mix, makes catering to this niche with a high search result almost a no brainer. It is not all bread and butter though, so listen up.

43 Things are quick to ban your account if you are seen as a marketer. I do not know if it is the community involvement or mods of some sort, but rest assured if you go throwing out links, you will be making a quick exit. Your going to have to setup profiles and participate. Now this may seem thoughtful and boring but so does concentrating your efforts to get listed in Google for the term “make money”. Why spend years when you can have a link up in just a few minutes? It will require effort, so if your the lazy type, please leave. Having around 10 profiles and making a post or two a week on things you want to do is not all that hard. At approximately 20-30 posts a week in non marketable tags, you can join in on the community involvement. I hope you take this suggestion highly, actually you will have to, you really do not have a choice.

There are really 4 ways of interaction:

Things- These are the things you want to do or have done. If you have done them, than an insightful post on providing more information will bring you great exposure. You can also tell people that you are linking to the source, but I suggest NEVER using a clickable link (http protocol) on 43 Things. It seems every post with a clickable link gets deleted, if you do not put a ton of effort into responding. If your unsure your post will make an impact, don’t use a clickable link.

Cheers – A little weird if you ask me, but none the less a great way to get exposure to your profile. You can give and receive cheers. I really do not do it, so check it out, it might be something I totally overlooked, but I doubt it.

Photos – The more the better in my opinion. The more photos you have, the more effort it looks that you put into it.

Entries – Just a general way of people seeing what you participated in recently.

There really is no tricks. All you need to do is check out some of the tags and find an affiliate program for. You need to make sure that a 43 Things Seach Result is listed on the front page of Google. Compeition does not matter because 43 things serves as a middle man site for traffic generation and sales.

Things you have done.

This is where your “expertise” posts will come in. These are going to have to be well thought out responses if you wish to not get banned and get your site visited. I personally have only been linking to affiliate products. If your posting a well thought response your going to get visitors to the salespage. Picking a great salespage is going to make or break you here. That part will be up to you. It all comes down to your response though. If you do not put any effort into it, then I would not expect much from it. You need to keep in mind that the things that are being posted are highly targeted to the 43 things community and you will get people to your site or program just from there. Add in that the result will be on the first page of Google and granted, it gets searched, this is a really easy way to promote in a lot of niches.

Things you want to do.

Honestly, I am going to tell you to NOT promote in that section. This section should be your “communication” and “involvement” section to the community. Here you can be a little bit more discreet, and just participate in short responses. You can actually respond shortly with anything, if your not promoting, but I have found that when you have done something and report accordingly, this is where the money is.

So in a nutshell

Find tags that have 1st page results in Googles Search Engine

Find a product to promote

Respond to things you have done with well thought out and informative responses

Provide a NON-Clickable link to the source (can’t stress this enough)

Participate on all your accounts in the community

Rinse and repeat across multiple niches and you will have 43 Things serving as a middle man traffic site relaying your insightful posts and links to affiliate products. There is probably more, but this is the exact way I use it, so I do not want to speculate and lead someone to do something that does not work.

Give it a go,

Today was one of those days where everything clicked. After getting thru my initial stats run I found that everything was running great. I had an afternoon off for the most part. It did not look like their would be much monitoring today. So, I took the afternoon and put together another free guide located in my reports section.

The report basically covers a lot of ground on why most article marketers are not successful and it includes aggressive back-linking strategies I use to get my articles, ads and lenses ranking high in the search engines. Initially, I was using other tools but have had to adapt to the changes put in place by some of the directories.

Hope everyone enjoys and would love to hear any feedback or just your experiences with article marketing. The report is available here and as always is free. There are no strings attached to reading the reports in my section.

At least it means it is residual as long as it keeps repeating. One of the key things that I had going for me during my Craigslist SEO Ad Posting days was that I was able to retain EVERY single client that I had provided a Consultation for. The Consultation was my “presell” method way of getting the Clients squeezed into to my optimization, link building, and overall ranking services.

The only reason I ever once lost a client was because I had to let a few of the larger companies go. The amount of information they were publishing was just too overwhelming. I initially intended to use my SEO Service as a way for supplemental income. Marketing was what I wanted to do, and SEO Consulting was basically a way for me to fund it, without enduring out of pocket expenses.

The reason for my success in retaining repeat clients was really based around one thing –> An Autoresponder! I kid you not, my autoresponse service saved me so much time and was able to pull (and keep) so much business. It eventually got to the point where I had to stop, because I could not handle the amount of consultations and referrals I was getting from word of mouth. I know some people would love to have that problem, but I actually hated it.

I was able to consult many clients at once. All I would really do was provide support and training thru the use of broadcasts. The Autoresponder saved me a lot of time and it actually “bought” me a lot of time. Whenever I got behind, I could put together a broadcast enabling me to have a little more time to get caught up. In the end though, I turned my focus on doing my own SEO for my Marketing purposes.

I only like to relect back on how much Aweber really saved my tail. Not only did it put clients in my pocket, work on my desktop, and money in the bank, but it was actually building a business I did not want. The autoresponder was keeping clients up to date (as you should), which is really crucial in business. No way would they pay me $250-$300 for a 1 hour Consultation fee and then turn around and give me another $1000 a month (depending on how many pages) without me keeping them in the loop as often as possible. I do not blame them either, as I have seen a lot of scammy SEO services out there.

That is really my take on one crucial way I was able to retain customers and have my autoresponder build my business. I always had a contact name, number and email address at the bottom of my emails and I also had it worked out to where I would slash % costs on what I charged in return for referrals. There was a lot going on back then, and in the end, I got overwhelmed at the point where I had to stop and terminate custom services.

Boo hoo,
