Strategic Marketing At Warp Speed

Traffic Brokering is a blast. If you have the capital to jump in balls first to test offer after offer it is one of the best feelings when you find a profitable one. As you can see from my last post about making money with ClickRiver, being different and having the will and ability to test new platforms with no regard as to what can happen, I can almost guarantee that you will find gems from time to time. When you do, it’s like getting the best (safe) high that you can get. Knowing that you just tacked on some passive income (at least for awhile) is a great thing :)

However…

Is it just me, or do a lot of people freak out knowing that they have to test Adwords? I get so fidgety and even agitated knowing that I have to test an offer in the shark waters of Adwords. I have ZERO problems taking my offers to Yahoo, MSN, Goclick, ABC Search or other smaller engines, but we all know the meat of traffic is at Adwords therefore it commands our attention to test the offer there. The moment I find an offer in one of my CPA Accounts I immediately begin asking myself

Can this Be Successful?

Will it convert?

Will Google bitch slap my landing page or even worse, my site?

Have I done enough research on this market to determine it WILL be profitable?

It’s just little things like that, that immediately start flowing thru my head. You have to realize when your traffic brokering, the bulk of your offers are most likely to have anywhere from $0.80-$2.00 payouts. I cannot tell you how critical your market research, demand, landing page AND site optimization are to help determine your cost in Adwords. Obviously the idea is to get the LARGEST gap between Cost Per Click and Earnings Per Click. The larger the gap, the better Return on Investment.

ClickRiveris a new PPC service I have been testing out this past week. I haven’t got to test a lot of it, but the very odd thing about ClickRiver is I half-assed a quickly put together campaign and the son of a gun is making money. I kid you not, I literally put this campaign together in less than 10 minutes. From finding an offer, grabbing my affiliate link, coming up with 22 keywords I thought would go with this offer, writing my ad and submitting. Normally if I were on Adwords, Yahoo, or MSN I am very selective with what offers I will try. The wife is yelling at me for the last two days to get off the computer (holidays), so I had to put the hustle on it.

First if your not familiar with Clickriver it is basically a Pay Per Click service (much like Adwords) but the ads are shown on Amazon. Unfortunately for a lot of people they won’t be able to use this service. It only accepts US right now. The service sort of intrigued me as I read about it. I mean seriously, your going to be showing ads on a shopping site? People have cash in hand and are in the buying mood already, so I said let’s do it.

The bad part…Take a look at where the ClickRiver ads are shown:

This really sucks obviously. They are shown at the bottom of the Amazon pages. Of course, Amazon doesn’t want anyone to take their cheese so it’s only logical to do this but we still get ads on there and that was enough for this money shark to jump in balls first.

This past Sunday night I was feeling down in the dumps. Matter of fact I posted about it, and that I was feeling better. Sadly, I think I posted too soon as I have been in and out of crappy feelings all week. Tonight finally feels different, as I feel even better than before. On Sunday though, I was not functioning properly. Fatigue, dizzy spells and not being able to focus really hindered my ability and even my want to work. That’s a cool thing about working online though, we can stop when we want:)

So Sunday night I am looking thru my aweber account and I find a rather small list but one I have been building since the start of summer:

I have been able to acquire 1,775 double optin verified leads since the end of May. The niche is a rather competitive niche online and I have really slowed the promotion of it, but from the looks of it, it looks as if some organic or word of mouth may be coming into play here…Might have to check that out:)

Alright I have 1,775 list members and a new affiliate network Copeac. I think I have been with them a couple of months but since God does not give us the 40 hours I require to work in a day, we can say I been a bit behind lately. A lot of stuff to monetize and so little time to do it in. Sunday night, I was able to get around to it because I felt that I had to do something fast before I felt like logging off the computer again.

There was a thread in a forum just yesterday that I wanted to publicly address. I have already posted a response there but would like to give the information away here as well. This is no big secret or anything, it’s just a fundamental packet of information you can use when you are preparing a product for an affiliate network.

With all the talk of Clickbank not allowing OTO’s anymore there has been a lot of controversy. They clearly state that the OTO must be on the salespage and what we thought once were brilliant upsell methods after a product purchase have now fallen into “sneaky marketing ploys” Clickbank considers. With this a man asked :

Once they buy the product they get taken to the OTO page to buy another product? Do they have to go through the checkout process over again?

He was followed up with some informative responses but I was waiting to see whether or not he was going to have his product on the Clickbank network. Before launching he made the product available to me to have a read and offer him a review. If I would have had to pay for the information, I would have been more than happy. Imagine that, the guy who hates them dumbass ebooks would have been happy paying for that one. Why? Because he did not make any crappy claims, he gave a step by step method of what he has done and still does. I found the information deeply informative and furthermore, I would to jump in and try it as soon as I read it. Anyway….

Halloween is coming up within a couple of month’s now and it is prime-time to start gearing for the Halloween season. Now personally, I don’t tend to build websites or blogs gearing towards the Halloween market, but I do build a lot of landing pages geared towards it.

For me the success was last Halloween went I had simple landing pages setup on Adwords that were pretty much just polls to gifts from networks such as Azoogle and Maxbounty. A simple survey, zip submit/email submit offer can really pull in a lot of cash rather quickly. If you set up your landing page correctly and have an offer say giftcard/iphone/electronic accessories then you can drive some really nice leads over the course of the next 6-8 weeks. Now lately since all the "Big Google" seems to do is shit on the little guy I have shifted focus to other smaller engines, but it still works on Google, it just costs you more so having a damn good conversion rate on a $1.15-$2.00 lead is vital. I have gone and written a Free Report Download On How To Make Money With Yahoo Answers. In the report I covered some of the basic methods that I have already blogged about before.

You will also find a few bonus tactics in it as well. You will also find a method I use to get my Questions on Yahoo Answers indexed within 2 days. Some of the tactics may feel a little extreme to some. While I do not condone spamming or being lazy on Yahoo Answers, I have made it very imperative in the report, that if you do not use the techniques outlined in the report as I use them, I cannot guarantee anything.
