Forum Success – People Making Money

It seems creating the forum was one of the best things I ever done as far as trying to help people make money online. When I first started this blog, I just started talking. I didnt really have any direction. I can honestly say that I do now. It’s comments like these from the discussion forum that make all the time put into the blog and forum worth it.

From Forum Member JerkJr: I think I would say I hit my pot o’ gold.

I’ve been trying my hand at PPC to CPA

I found a CPA offer that is converting 25%-30% for a few days now.

Yesterday I had 253 clicks, 70 conversions, cost me around $65 to advertise, and I made around $135. This isn’t uncommon for this offer either.  The day before yesterday was about the same thing.

Here’s what I have learned…PUMP THOSE OFFERS OUT.

The more you get the better chance you have of hitting one that will stick really well.

Thank you Ruck for your posts and your help on everything.

I’m off to go make more landing pages and campaigns

From Forum Member experience:Ok maybe its a little too early to get happy. But today is my first 100.00 profit day. And its just noon where i live. I have been on this forum for less 2 than 2 weeks and i was on the ppcformula forum before that. I was ready to just give up and quit and go try to get my job back.LOL. But i stuck it out and i took alot of advice and read Rucks blogs. Well the stuff that hes giving there is great people and if your a newbie like me that you have to pay close attention to it and follow his steps. But i just want to thank Ruck and all the other guys that helped me out the past couple of weeks.

From Forum Member MasterOfNone: So, I recently received my first check from NeverBlue, for $163.  Its amazing to actually hold the check, and think that I made that money purely using my own skills and knowledge (aided greatly by sites such as this.)  It’s really motivating, and I’m already on my way up, with my next check being over $500!  I’m in college now, and if I can somehow be making $100/day when I graduate a little over a year from now, I’m going to try to stick with this full time instead of getting a normal job.  We’ll see what happens, but I’m pretty optimistic with the way my skills are growing.

From Forum Member Yebot: Guess what came in the mail today …… my first check from an Ad network (pepperjam). SWEET!

$299 is small potatoes, but dammit, these are MY POTATOES and they are delicious.

I have a huge pile of thanks for Ruckles and gokarter and the many others on (and off) this forum who’ve thrown me the nuggets of information that have gotten me off my lazy ass and onto the fast track to building my online business.

Thank you thank you thank you. Someday I will have something to give back to you all …

This noob (me) is looking forward to the day when he can fire his boss and forge ahead with IM full-time — bringing in way more income than he could working for someone else.

Love, Peace and Chicken Grease,

From Forum Member GoKarter: After having my BANS site up for just over a week now, I have gotten my First E-bay commission sale of a whole $2.31. LMAO
I’m so excited. It’s a start , we all started somewhere . If I play my cards right the Niche that I’m in I should make a killing at.

But first I need to learn and play the game at the same time.

From Forum Member liquidgatorade: Over all I have to say February was a good month for me.

I raked in 1400 bucks with a new method I devised using craigslist and one of my pages achieved a rank 1 with google.

From Forum Member Poker_Fool: Nothing major, but I used offline ads for the 1st time after reading rucks advice.  I never even thought to use offline means as a way to get traffic to an offer.  I bought an ad for $30 and the 1st day the revenue coming in paid off the ad, plus got me $65 profit.  The ad is still going run for 4 more days.

No clue if the ad will continue to produce over the next few days but just wanted to share this to motivate others to be creative and try the things ruck talks about.

I didnt post this to brag. Heck, we leave that up to the forum members :). There are just so many make money blogs out there these days so I thought it would be nice to create a community around this one. It’s a great way to communicate outside the general blog commenting area too. It doesn’t matter how much you blog, there are always unasked questions to be answered or more ideas to be explored. I’m happy that we can do just that in the forum. I did not put up all the success stories so there are more to read!

Another thing is that I have had the pleasure of being sent 3 products created by forum members. I can see that some members are leaning towards being a product and/or software owner. This is great and huge successes all around there as well. Sorry guys I have not tested them yet! I will though! Anyway if you have not joined the forum yet, you really should. I just showed you that there are people in there making money online everyday. There are a variety of topics to talk about and being talked about already however any/all suggestions are always welcome.

Congratualtions to everyone mentioned and not mentioned on your success!

Gaining Momentum For Your CPA Offers

If you take the shotgun approach with CPA then chances are that your throwing more crap at the wall than I am when it comes to finding profitable offers. However, since taking this approach I have found that I am getting lifetime valued prospects. For this to exercise I am going to assume that you already have a profitable offer. If you dont then then thats ok, I’ll help you out. Remember to think outside the box and remember what not to look for in an offer. I am also going to assume that since you have this wildly popular and PROFITABLE offer then you have gone ahead and set up your landing site/pages. If not, then again remember to read tips on how to optimize your page for a better quality score and cpa offers, keyword research and landing page setup. By then you will be rocking and rolling.

So we want to structure ourselves a thematic site based around the offer. Let’s use the ecards example from previous shall we? We can take a look at what we want to rank for. For this example I want my home page to rank for Ecards. However I may want to target other keywords as well. Now I setup my landing sites and pages on WordPress because I have found that I can often get indexed and ranked for many obscure keywords. Knowing undisclosed details of over 50% of Google’s searches are unique, I never take the fact that since a keyword is NOT showing up in a search tool, does not mean it does not get searched or will get searched. Keep that little piece of advice on the backburner…it’s important.

There’s a truly vital plugin for WordPress that has made TONS of difference for me in regards to Search Rankings. This is also an important plugin in regards to Pay Per Click as well. It’s lowered my costs and boosted my quality scores around the board in ways that would have taken me forever had I been doing static HTML sites. So get the plugin here. The All In One SEO Pack Plugin is a crazy little plugin that will allow us to optimize each post or page (which should be our landings!) very easily. Here’s a quick look at how easy and fast it is to use the plugin to optimize a birthday ecards landing page (a wordpress post).

All In One Seo Pack Plugin

So we’ve properly optimized the landing page with some good onpage seo techniques. This alone can get some longtail phrases ranked in the search engine as you move thru your list of keywords and keep on posting. The next part is actually getting links to these pages because that’s going to make the difference on how long you actually stay ranked. For this I will want to use some sort of quick social bookmarking tool. I am no longer a big fan of automated social bookmarking tools. More often than not, when your submitting your own posts your sort of looked at as a spammer. However, many people have different views and being the money grubber I am, I could give two shits. I’ve seen worse posted on the bookmarking sites and for this example *ecards* are a lot fun for everyone. In my eyes, no harm no foul. Keep on, keeping on with the social bookmarking. I also like the Sociable plugin for WordPress. It fits quite nicely below my posts (landing pages) and gives everyone else the chance to share among others as well. You definitely want an *Email This* link as well.

Newsletter – Quite simply, if you do not have one of these on EVERY site or page you do then your an idiot, moron, know-nothing marketer. If your in it to half ass it, have fun. I prefer lifetime value over the quick buck anytime I can get it. It doesn’t matter if I am promoting Ipods, gift cards or insurance. I have an optin box on every site/page I promote. No ifs, ands or butts. By the time the site/page is ready to be promoted I have an optin box. Normally I have gone with Aweber but I much prefer Feedburners automatic email update service. Just with displaying a feed count on one of my blogs that is used entirely for the methods outlined above, I have put up a private ad on one and turned down another. The private ad was an exclusive to one of my CPA Networks. Not bad heh? Getting a set amount each month AND promoting their offers. You know what happened after the exclusive ad? I got my payouts raised on EVERY offer I ran.

Feedburner is a godsend in my book. While you can configure Awebers Autoresponder service to deliver updates, I much prefer Feedburner for its simplicity. To burn a  feed and setup a newsletter code takes me all of about 3 minutes. Which is exactly what you need when your moving at the speed of light in testing offers. Just ask my designer Jeff if he is sick of designing neat little graphics for my little offer blogs newsletters. He did 3 in the last week alone. With Feedburner your blog posts are automatically emailed each time you post. So let’s do an example of how powerful this really can be.

Say we have an ecards blog. Tomorrow your going to blog 3 posts (landing pages). One post over birthday ecards, one post over animated ecards and the last post of Valentines Day ecards. Do you see what’s taking place here? After each post it will be delivered via email to your subscribers. They dont even have to visit your site at all. Just checking their email (which is the #1 thing people do online) they have 3 new posts to check out. We already know they are into ecards because they have opted in to your newsletter. Now we have 3 easy chances to find out the interest they have in which type of ecard they are into. Now the next day you may post about funny ecards, sexy ecards, naughty ecards. So on and so forth. The cool thing about this whole idea is that people dont have to visit your site at all. They can easily read the post in their email client and do the offer right there. Can we say power?

Let’s take this a step further because this is exactly what is happening to me ever since I started to promote my offers this way. When people get an email they like, what do they usually do? They forward the email to their friends. With using Feedburner I can have exact replicas of my posts going to people and having it shared among their friends who have zero clue about my site. Now they will

Forums – we can take this yet another step forward. Now that we are gaining subscribers and our subscribers are sharing us among their friends with our simple newsletter updates (which are our landing pages mind you), we may want to consider the idea that all these people will want a place to congregate and talk about ecards. What better way than to set up a forum and start posting about to your blog. Now our subscribers see that they have a place to go everyday and talk about ecards. I can tell you right now that they are going to invite their friends right off the bat. People like entering forums when they know they have someone in there they know.  Now as a marketer this works great in our favor. It builds our site brand, newsletter subscriber count, and viral marketing for our community. Structuring offers like this on this magnitude can bring ALOT of money in. Add the fact that people may want to advertise on your blog, thru your newsletter or on your forum and you have reoccurring commissions from outside your self-promotional efforts

Incentives – What is one thing that most people want more of? — Money!

Now by this point we would have Pay Per Click driving people to our landing pages (posts), properly SEO optimized posts/pages driving search traffic, an auto-sending email updater on every new piece of content we do, a forum where people can congregate and discuss ecards, what else is there to do?

Set yourself up a freebie site. If you can find incentivized offers on networks (which you can) then you can offer people things to sign up to your offers. Be sure to check the terms on the offers but you can send them gifts or cash for completion of the offers. You can run your own arbitrage freebie offer site. Now all your subscribers and forum members will see that they have a chance at some cool gifts (or even cash) just by signing up to these offers. If you were not going viral before (which you should be) you will now. Yet again we post on how people can sign up to the offers for the gifts/cash and they will make this work for us. Just by doing what you have been doing already, you will set up yet another viral campaign to bring in even more people to the site/blog, newsletter and forum.

There are many ways to retain traffic but I am using this as an example of how you can totally structure a high trafficked site/blog around using some of the easiest techniques on the planet. Starting a site or blog is a good start but it’s just not enough this days. Putting a forum and freebie site up is easy. There are tons of free forum software out there and there are freebie scripts as well. I hope this starts to open your eyes on what can be accomplished when you structure around something that people like and their is a way for you to monetize and build around. I have not even talked about offline promotion yet but I will in my next post.

Viva La Forum Is Open!

The new forum is now open. You can visit and join up here if you like. It’s up and running but will continue to improve over time. It’s 5:00 am here and I think I slept some yesterday but I am not for sure. However, I am off to get 2 hrs and 30 minutes of sleep and then I have to head to town and get a machine worked on. Feel free to hop in there and fire away and will be getting back in there around 10:00 am. (I hope).

Want to thank everyone right now for the encouragement for this idea. I know it’s been a long time coming and have met a ton of great people but I look forward to communicating with you more exclusively on the blog and throughout the forum.

Another heads up. It was spur of the moment but I booked a flight to Orlando on the 26th – 29th of this month. What, one day after Christmas? Yep, absolutely. No rest for the wicked. In all seriousness, I guess we are celebrating our Christmas on Sunday and at the urgency of getting down there, I got to hurry my ass up.

Anyway, catching a nap and then going to town, and then we going to get right to it. See ya there!

Damn Forum Mongrels

Yea first things first. I know I haven’t posted in like a month, but ya know we all need some time to ourselves. Well, after much debate I am still going to post here. Much like my attention span, it could be erratic from time to time, but I love you all and I am always up for shooting the shit with ya so I’m hanging:)

OK now, let’s bitch about forum mongrels. Here’s the kicker. Last month and the month before we were just dealing with out right, in your face scammers who had no regard for the forum member’s or themselves. Now over the course of the last few days, I sit back in this enormously lonely office and watch a new breed of forum dipshits emerge. Yea, I respect people so don’t give the moral pep talk. If you know anything about me, you know I like to jerk around. (Pun Intended). Anyway, I sit back and watch as LONG TIME forum member’s do something completely unexplainable. They SCREW UP!

I don’t know why I am even blogging this but you can see over at the Warrior Forum that this chick is being crucified to the high heavens. Of course she was saying she was a lawyer and using this to persuade people and even offer them legal advice. Now, I don’t claim to be a genius at how people type but the evidence is irrefutable that if you take a trip over to the RJ Forum or BlackhatWorld, I snuffed out some dipshits in my time.

The worst part is that Alison G as she went by, was a regular poster that built an online persona around herself. I for one find this hilarious that people were even taking her advice to begin with. Some people may fear or be paranoid about giving their real names out online and that’s ok I guess, but for god’s sake if you don’t know their name why the f#ck would you ever buy from them?

Furthermore and a little ADD moment here…This can be said about make money ebooks. No I won’t carry the crusade here, most of you know how I feel about it already. If you don’t then  I’ll save you the time right now and although this make you feel like an idiot, it’s for your own good.

Why in the world are you buying this shit from someone you don’t even know? Is because you don’t know any better? How can you not. I am ruling out that your new. If your new then mistakes are gonna happen most of the time but it’s people that been online for years longer than even me who buy into this bullshit.

Back to the point. It doesn’t matter how long someone has been online or how long they been a forum member, this shit is still going on today and according to the places I frequent, it’s on the rise.

As for the people that don’t stand up and call these people out, stop being such a pussy. Don’t be scared of getting ridiculed. Shit, I got some of the nastiest hate mail of my life over a year ago when I proceeded to thrash Rob Benwell on his boring and bullshit blogging tactics. What does everyone think of him now? Come to think about it, I don’t really hear much except how stupid and outdated his bullshit blogging courses are. Trust me, stand up and join the fight. If your going to sit around and allow people to get scammed your no better than the people that are actually doing it.

Anyway, it really feels good to bitch again. Gonna be a great weekend!

All the do gooders out there–>Feel free to send that hate mail and remember that I get your IP address with all your heartfelt messages. Your IP or email is really all I need to know to post your artwork here, so feel free to fire away.

Using Forum Posts As Unsolicited Reviews In Niche Blogging

As the title reads I said “used in niche blogging”, and I said this for a purpose. While it might be alright to take forum posts and use them as unsolicited reviews on websites, sales-letters..whatever, I personally have never done it. The reason for this is that bloggers quote whatever other people say, it’s plain and simple. So let’s put the pieces of this puzzle together.

I am going to use a generic health topic as an example here. While I hate entering niches for which I have absolutely no clue about, my marketing prowess seems to sometimes take over and I jump in ballzonies first. Case in point, I am getting my tail kicked in the anime niche. So many uniques and so little money coming in. I am working on trying to monetise better but so far, it’s been a rough ride. The easy part is traffic, how retarded is that? (Rant over)

Now we have us a blog on a general health niche. I used this ALOT back in the heavy blogging days. I say “back then” but it was just last year. I am gearing up to start it up again if I can hire some damn writers. The deal is really to just hang out in forums over the niche. No big secret but the trick is to find thread or post specific examples of products that have helped others. Utilizing the search function for thread topics and posts is one of the best weapons you can use in early research of entering a niche.

When you find these posts, make real careful note of them. Your next blog post, sales-letter or review can be right in front of your eyes. Seriously, how many times you seen the same rehashed crap on Internet Marketing Salesletters? It’s grown quite ridiculous, and while most people gripe about (as I am doing here), there is so much to learn and take away from these marketers. They are quoting or generalizing information that is already on the net. The same goes here when jumping into a new niche.

Just get over to the forums and start searching, heck if you have ideas already then you got search topics already in your mind. Get to searching as the social interaction going on is going to give you key points when trying to provide a solution at hand.

Now the cool thing about this is say you went to a forum where some had say toe nail fungus. Getting into this niche for me would be just as bad as anime. I have zero clue as to what goes on with toe nail fungus. If I head over to a forum that it is being talked about it in, I guarantee you within hours I have enough information to go make a website/blog or at least start doing some keyword research.

Another plus is that going to these forums, your going to get specific product names. Some of these products are so new that they are not even online yet. Now this is where you strike it hot. A lot of people miss so many keywords just because they do not show up in a keyword research tool. This does not mean it’s not being discussed. There are gems lying about and if people are talking about how something has helped them, you better bet your donuts that it is worth paying attention too.

Normally I do not participate in these forums. I just join and do my research. Quoting posts or reviews from there and providing a link back is basically the extent of what I have done. I bet you could easily get unsolicited testimonials from over there though. I know for a fact that some marketers just write ebooks based around doing this. It’s not a big secret, just a general tip on the possibilities.
