The Affiliate Summit conferences in general are very good.  I enjoy them and I will continue to attend them.  BUT… I honestly do not like going to the main event.  The summit is way too crowded.  It’s hard to walk around the meet market. I walked in… Tried to get to the back of the room… Got half way and turned around.  It wouldn’t be so bad if the tables were just a little bit farther apart.  The problem arises when you have 10 affiliates (for example) trying to stand in front of one table. You can imagine the congestion that arises. I think the problem with the meet market could have been alleviated if there were multiple entrances to the event.  I think affiliates need to also realize that the meet market is where you go to meet new contacts that you can go back to during the actual event. It’s called a MEET MARKET.  Not a STOP AND DO BUSINESS RIGHT THEN AND THERE MARKET.  Okay… So I might be blowing this out of proportion.  But seriously the meet market is way crowded and way hot on the inside.

The actual exhibit itself is awesome.  It’s not as crowded as everything is spaced apart pretty well.  The point of the actual exhibit is where you can go to meet those new advertisers or new networks that you found during the meet market.  It is a place of business where million dollar deals are being made.  Some booths do it better than others by creating an environment that affiliates want to be at.  Convert2Media has this down to the “T”.  They know what affiliates want. Other networks… Unfortunately don’t know what they are doing.

I’ve been apart of exhibits at convention centers for YEARS.  From the time I was a little kid I remember my mom taking me to the PDX Convention Center to help her in a booth at the craft shows.  Granted a craft show is different then an affiliate show the same concept of “GET PEOPLE TO YOUR BOOTH” still applies. If a booth has people sticking around then they know whats up.  Next time you are at a convention take a good look at who is in the booth and who isn’t.  Walk down the isles and take a peak at which booth has a bunch of people around it.  You can almost look at networks and their booths are your affiliate landing page.  Which network gets it?  Which network is getting the traffic and which is getting the conversions? eh… It’s a silly analogy but it makes sense to me…

If you want to learn you can definitely learn a lot by going to one of these events.  There are plenty of speakers just make sure you get the right pass so that you can sit in on a session.  Who knows, maybe one day I’ll get up and talk about PPV advertising.  I don’t go to the sessions though so I wouldn’t be able to tell you which ones are good to sit in on. Just don’t go to a session that you don’t feel would apply to what you are trying to accomplish… Common sense but it had to be said.

My wife came with me to this event and I was excited to show her around and introduce her to many people that she has said “Hi” to over skype. We arrived on Friday morning and just putzed around Vegas.  We caught a show and really just had a good time before ASW on Sunday.  Unfortunately for her she dislocated her shoulder on Saturday.  She’s dislocated her shoulder before but this time she couldn’t get it back in.  I was freaking out.  I know what it feels like to have your arm pop out and just dangle there.  Anyways… We got her to the hospital and they got her all fixed up :)

On Sunday I went to the meet market (By myself cause my wife was hurting)… You already heard about the joy that was so I’ll skip those details. I met up with Ian Fernando and Benny Tejeda.  Were were standing around trying to figure out what to eat when Naomi from Bloosky showed up.  So naturally we convinced her that it would be a good idea to have Bloosky take us out to lunch.  We went on a hunt though.  Apparently everywhere in Vegas closes early on Sundays.  Eventually we found a pretty good sushi bar called Sushi Roku.  It was pretty good and I thank Bloosky for the good food.

Later on that night I headed over to CraftSteak for the Ianteract dinner with Elite Clicks Media.  That was some GOOOOOOD food.  Steak, chicken, salad, and a bunch of other good food.  It was a feast and I thank Ian for having that dinner and ECM for sponsoring it. While at the dinner I sat at the ballers table.  There was Jonathan Volk and his wife (Sorry Maria… Next time my wife will come I promise…), Brandon Hoffman (AdHustler), Ian Fernando, Matt Wasserman, and Logan Thompson. Behind me was Andrew Wee, Kyle Hannah, and some other guy… Across the room was the ECM crew and a couple of their affiliates.

After the dinner I headed over to the PPC.BZ/Nickycakes party.  From there Matt Wasserman and I left to head over to the Karaktr Media party. Hung out there for a few minutes and then Matt and I left back to the PPC.BZ party.  Once that party was done I headed back home.  I was tired…

Monday was a good day.  I woke up late, got to the show late and basically walked to a couple of booths to discuss some business. Stopped by C2M, Clickbooth, MundoMedia, and a few other booths.  Also had a little chat with Ryan Eagle. Around 3:30ish I had a meeting with Adperio and Experian in one of the suits. That went pretty well.  When I left that I just headed home.  Talked with my wife for a bit (She was still hurting so she hung out at the condo), ordered some Chinese food, then headed back out for some more parties.  One of the biggest things that you have to realize is that networking is the best thing you can do for your business.  That’s the only reason why I go to the parties. Networking is key to the success of my business.

Anyways, the evening started out with the Meetup202 event at the Palms. Wes Mahler (Founder of T202) and the owners of Bloosky spoke about the T202/Bloosky merger. At the end several meetup202 organizers gave out tips.  Wes asked me if I would give a tip but I said no.  I wasn’t sure I was going to go to the event because the poor wife was still hurting. Ian’s tip was pretty good.  He gave a tip on PPV. Some weirdy named Ryan basically said to be compliant or die and another guy just started whoring out his product.  Jasper also got up and spoke about … well I honestly don’t know… some lady was sitting next to me and wouldn’t stop talking…

After that event Ian and I headed over to the Mundo Media party. It was good times there.  I finally got to meet Yousif the owner of Profit Kings Media. He wasn’t anything like I expected.  But that’s what happens when you work with people online… You just never know what they are like in person. Todd my business partner also joined me at this point.  From the Mundo Media party we headed over to the CX Digital party in the same tower at the Palms.  That was a pretty decent party.  Hung out a little with Emil from PPC Bully. Emil is a pretty crazy guy… but he is definitely good people.  Also saw Igal Pines there.  He is like the Shoemoney of Israel. I’ve met him at a few events before but never really had the opportunity to talk with him.  Anyways… After the Mundo party Ian, Todd, and I headed over to the Clickbooth Hangover suit party.  That was in a completely different casino so we made our way over there.  Took a bit of time but it was a good trip.  Saw Nick Throlson there and I swung my arm around his shoulder and asked him straight up… I said “Nick… tell me the truth… Do you actually make money online or do you just whore your affiliate link to everyone?” And he told me “I make my money from referrals”.  Had to do the same thing to Murray Newlands as he was at the party as well.  He admitted it.  I just wish I had my video camera. No wonder networks like MarketLeverage and Clickbooth want their nuts so bad. Oh well it’s decent money and I’m not going to knock them for doing it.

Around 3 am Todd and I left the Clickbooth party to go play some Craps.  We meet up with a couple of AMs from Epicenter.  We played till about 4:30 and honestly we all walked away with some money which is always nice.

So… That was my adventure at ASW.  I know I am missing the last day… but that is because I didn’t go.  I told my wife I would spend the day with her and that is what I did.

Honestly I think these types of events are something that you should experience.  Some people say that they don’t want to go because they don’t do that well online… WHO CARES!  The point is to go and network with people that can help your business. I challenge you to go to the next Affiliate Summit event. I promise you won’t regret it.

People have always said in forums that you cannot be an expert in everything from PPC, SEO, Email, and yada yada. Oh yea? Well, I’m f#cking doing it. I think some the aggressive things I have done or try to pull scares a lot of people.

I’m not your ordinary type of make money blogger. I dont fill this blog up with shit I THINK will make you money. I fill it up with things I KNOW you can make money with. A lot of them are just simple methods you can do for cash online. Where the meat lies is when I talk about how I try to build my businesses online. (Or at least that’s what I think).

A lot of people put a lot of thought in their business principles, ethics and moral. I can tell you right now if we were both feuding competitors in the Search Engines or a Pay Per Click campaign, you might be better than me, but I assure you that I will do every underhanded thing I can to get you out of my way. Plain and simple. I’m not the type of person to stand by and keep my mouth shut just because I think something is unethical. If I know about, I am going to talk about it. I think this is the biggest reason why this blog will never become one like the Chow’s or Shoemoney out there. Which is cool, those guys do their thing and I’ve seen them take a lot of heat over a number of things. I dont want to be known personally as some industry expert.

However this blog will grow to be as big as the readers who visit it want it to. That’s why I write. Thanks for listening, probably made no sense.

 Just sad to see that they could have came here for a measly few minutes and saved a month’s worth of hosting or even the domain fee for the method. Sheep never learn though and there is quite an abundance of them over there. The Next Internet Millionaire…

I have nothing against Joel Comm, as a matter of fact I really don’t know who he is other than the creator of show I see everyone talking about taking up priceless real estate in forums I visit everyday to interact, help and learn from other people trying to make a buck online. So why would this even bother me?

Because first off, for most of the people that have taken an interest in the show (shame on you), they probably have held on all season to see who wins. What makes me want to puke even more, is there are people who probably look up to these contestants and what they have accomplished………………………………..or trying to.

Here’s what they and The Next Internet Millionaire have managed to accomplish.

They have accomplished putting up a syndicated Internet Marketing Reality TV show online for you to view free. Cool right? No, it doesn’t make you cool and neither does watching it. If anything, it probably makes you stupider and most likely you spent valuable time watching it and not working on your business. Good job, you have just fell into Internet Marketing trap #1. You should be proud, treat yourself to a drink, like a whole bottle and later on, you can top it off with maybe some sleeping pills. Your going to need all this by the time I point out what a pile of trash this has become.

Today I get an email that tells me that you can vote for the winner. Charles and Jamie are the two people up for winning (if you care). Here’s the kicker…Want to know how to vote? Fucking, you get the opportunity to by their product. Yes, in case this show has brainwashed you into thinking it’s great for the world, please reread: To vote, buy one of their products, or buy them both. I like “buy them both” which would making the voting a little f#cked up, don’t you think?

What a joke…

Ok now, if buying their product was not enough to determine a winner, let’s take a look at their products. No, they don’t get a link and neither does the stupid show. Google it.

Charles has a product called “Viral Video Forever”. He is in a video on his salespage. His salespage is normally like what you see when one of these ebook sellers want to sell something. They have a bunch of different colored fonts, large text, small text, huge text, what the f#ck ever text.  He’s got claims that video marketing firms pay him to make videos for them, yet there is no proof. Nope, not one shed of proof on the page. There also a ton of testimonials from people claiming he is god. No proof? That is the first thing you should be looking for. Your taught not to, because hardly anyone does and if they do it’s most likely just an edited screenshot.

Yea, he also goes on to tell you that you are probably foolish if you don’t buy from one of these masters who decided to show zero proof about what he does. Awesome, I am totally pumped to buy. I started questioning Joel Comm, even though the guy could easily buy me out (I imagine) he doesn’t seem very smart. If he is smart, then he’s definitely a liar.

You want viral video leverage? It’s as easy as copying a Youtube video, watermarking your website link into it, then grabbing a pirated copy of mass video upload software and blasting it out to 30 video sharing sites. Trust me, you will have a viral video. Want some icing on the cake? Get a pirated free copy of Tubeinator or some other Youtube commenter and go play. Viral Video is done, traffic is coming to the site, your making money, and you didn’t even have to buy something that some hotshot was pimping.

Jamie’s product is called “From Cubicle Slave to Internet Millionaire”. I can’t possibly explain the salespage as I got about a third of the way thru it, and found myself running downstairs to take a crap. My time was better spent dropping kiddies off at the pool than finishing the page. I did however notice this:

Then why the f#ck didn’t you show a little Ca-Ching on your page? Have you and Charles been spending too much time together “behind the scenes”? Did you both decide to to just lie to everyone?

I knew it was shit the moment I saw the first headline where she is already talking about the bonuses involved. You got to be kidding me. She hasn’t even buttered you up yet, but she needs you to know the product is so worthless that she is going to pile tons of bonuses on it just so you won’t get a refund.

I will give her props though, she managed to put important text into a yellow background. Anyone that has read “Buy my stupid ebook” knows how important that yellow background on the text is.

If anyone cares, Joel’s testimonial really sucked nuts on that one.

Whole page full of bonuses and testimonials. Zero Proof. That’s what you get.

Anyway, I just felt like getting this out there. It was truly a disgusting night and I can’t wait till people start ordering this shit and posting their comments. It will be uninteresting to say the least.

Lesson learned.

Almost everything out there is free and easily accessible. Guru’s suck, they lie, it’s nothing new. I can tell you that it’s a lot more fun being a wolf than it is a sheeple. You get the opportunity of having a large enough brain to comprehend the sheer stupidity people fall for online.

I like hate mail, it’s so much more interesting than the “How do I make money” emails. You may however pour your heart and soul into what you think of the show and the shit surrounding it. I love listening to guineas, newbs and sheeple who think they know something and will try to support this. Anyway, that’s another can of worms…back to the topic.

I’m cruising along my favorites such as Jon’s SEO Blog, Eli’s BlueHatSEO and then Stuart’s PPC and Affiliate Marketing Blog when I came across this post by Stuart. At first I was relieved I finally found something being written about other than PageRank, but as soon as I saw this:

Looking further down the list past 30 you’ll actually find more useful tips about Making Money Online, why? Younger blogs have to give away much more useful information to attract new readers, whereas larger & much more established blogs can get away with writing paid reviews & such but still keep the readership due to their authority status.

To the untrained eye that may seem like a normal paragraph. NAYYYYYYY!    That paragraph right there contains words that are like gasoline to fire. If you don’t understand WTF I am talking about, it’s very obvious over in the comment section of that post.

Everyone is so damn touchy, feely these days and Stuart tackled alot of what people have been thinking for a long time but have not really said out loud. Well, it’s out there now. The even better part of this is that while the paragraph is highly debatable and you can tell from some of the comments it struck a few nerves, most of the responses were weak. It reminds me of the bully in school. He wants your lunch money everyday at 10 minutes till lunch. Even though you talk shit all the way to the cafeteria, you still give the dollars up each and every day. On the way back to class, you still continue to curse that SOB but you’ll give the tomorrow too:)

Now, I had mixed feelings on the subject and I responded to Stuart. While it may look like he took it as criticism, I assure you and even replied back that it was not. I don’t think the post was complete. I think the post was just enough to drive some of these bloggers over there and comment. If it’s linkbait then whatever ya know. Stu can do whatever he likes, I just thought that such a minuscule topic would not ignite a few fires like it did. I guess I am the first to post a reply, as I don’t see anyone on the list that will. I am not even their but I am a part of damn near every one of those blogs readership, so it’s kind of sad to see that so many put so much into their image and not into their feelings.

Maybe I am just being crazy or too hypocritical. Maybe that’s what the blogosphere needs. Do I care what people think of me? No, of course not. What people think of me is irrevelant. I’m a marketer, sometimes blackhat, sometimes REALLY blackhat so I have been called everything in the world from spammer, scammer, phisher, hacker. You name it and it’s been said. Do I try to hide this? No of course not, because what people think of me, is not going to slow me down.

Shit, I was told that I was nothing, would be nothing and would never become nothing. 2 Years later and I am making a full time income from the Internet. You can’t hate, a hater. You can’t undistinguish someone who tells it like it is. The more you try, the harder they work.

That’s the thing about Stuart. I don’t believe he did that to have a go at some of the bloggers (or all of them) on that list. He did it by doing his own testing. What’s the point of being defensive about it? All publicity good or bad, still boils down to publicity. So take at it what you will, but I thought it was a damn good post and also to Stu for having the ballzonies to put it out there because in all honesty some of those authorities write like they have their heads up their ass.

First off their are so many variables to consider. It’s not as easy as it was a year ago. The Internet has sustained large growth and more importantly the amount of people coming online wanting to work from home and reading all that bullshit about how they can get rich overnight has seriously corrupted their minds. Please if we can get rich overnight then there would not be haters, bashers and skeptics. While after some education and fine tuning your business you can turn nights into what some would consider riches, it’s impossible to just come online and make the dollars fall down your computer screen like some shitty christmas like myspace layout. It just doesn’t happen, so face the reality.

So without the blabbling, point #1 is try to use your head a little.

Another point is the amount of people that will just completely screw you over. Oh yea, it’s damn near a phenomenon on the amount of people that will screw you over at places such as Elance and Scriptlance. What’s even worse is this shit is starting to spill over into forums now. Take the Warrior Forum for instance, not a month passes by that a rant thread pops up about someone screwing someone else over. You have to get personal with your writers, programmers, whatever.

I have been screwed myself by article writers and once by a programmer. While it only cost me a little bit money one time, sometimes people don’t realize that when you promise to write someone who has monthly multi thousand dollar businesses online they don’t expect to get screwed over on some measly articles. I can tell you as someone who does run these businesses and does rely on a lot on outsourced content writing, nothing burns my ass more than when I find out someone could not complete a project they promised for top pay because “they went out this past weekend and are hungover”?

First off (a bit of rant), my history has been told that I used to drink. I am not ashamed of it (actually I am) but dealing with life’s problems that can arise, drinking seemed like an easy way out. I can assure you that I held down my 3 jobs, held a household and still worked online thru this time. This wasn’t weekend drinking either, we are talking binge:) Being hungover is the dumbest excuse on the planet, but rest assured it has been used on me.

Another point is that if your not at that level yet then don’t do it. If you cannot write good content yourself then how in the world are you going to set any standards for your writers? That’s just common sense.

When you do get to that point it is best to get with someone thru email and phone. Phone is the best but the point is to get in close with this person. They are going to supply you with work and rely on you to pay them, then it’s just a small favor that they keep close contact. Either other way and your on your own. Just keep it mind.

Yea first things first. I know I haven’t posted in like a month, but ya know we all need some time to ourselves. Well, after much debate I am still going to post here. Much like my attention span, it could be erratic from time to time, but I love you all and I am always up for shooting the shit with ya so I’m hanging:)

OK now, let’s bitch about forum mongrels. Here’s the kicker. Last month and the month before we were just dealing with out right, in your face scammers who had no regard for the forum member’s or themselves. Now over the course of the last few days, I sit back in this enormously lonely office and watch a new breed of forum dipshits emerge. Yea, I respect people so don’t give the moral pep talk. If you know anything about me, you know I like to jerk around. (Pun Intended). Anyway, I sit back and watch as LONG TIME forum member’s do something completely unexplainable. They SCREW UP!

I don’t know why I am even blogging this but you can see over at the Warrior Forum that this chick is being crucified to the high heavens. Of course she was saying she was a lawyer and using this to persuade people and even offer them legal advice. Now, I don’t claim to be a genius at how people type but the evidence is irrefutable that if you take a trip over to the RJ Forum or BlackhatWorld, I snuffed out some dipshits in my time.

The worst part is that Alison G as she went by, was a regular poster that built an online persona around herself. I for one find this hilarious that people were even taking her advice to begin with. Some people may fear or be paranoid about giving their real names out online and that’s ok I guess, but for god’s sake if you don’t know their name why the f#ck would you ever buy from them?

Furthermore and a little ADD moment here…This can be said about make money ebooks. No I won’t carry the crusade here, most of you know how I feel about it already. If you don’t then  I’ll save you the time right now and although this make you feel like an idiot, it’s for your own good.

Why in the world are you buying this shit from someone you don’t even know? Is because you don’t know any better? How can you not. I am ruling out that your new. If your new then mistakes are gonna happen most of the time but it’s people that been online for years longer than even me who buy into this bullshit.

Back to the point. It doesn’t matter how long someone has been online or how long they been a forum member, this shit is still going on today and according to the places I frequent, it’s on the rise.

As for the people that don’t stand up and call these people out, stop being such a pussy. Don’t be scared of getting ridiculed. Shit, I got some of the nastiest hate mail of my life over a year ago when I proceeded to thrash Rob Benwell on his boring and bullshit blogging tactics. What does everyone think of him now? Come to think about it, I don’t really hear much except how stupid and outdated his bullshit blogging courses are. Trust me, stand up and join the fight. If your going to sit around and allow people to get scammed your no better than the people that are actually doing it.

Anyway, it really feels good to bitch again. Gonna be a great weekend!

Now for some people forum bashing and all of that nonsense might be for you. I can say I rather stay out of it, as you can see earlier this past week, I tend to have more personable problems arise than to sit around and bash other forums. The deal is that I like all 3 forums. Of course they all have their perks and there are different things that can upset the “herds” rather quickly. One of them, is that you really do not talk about other forums when your there.

Ok, I can handle WickedFire’s cockiness beacuse they have a ton of cool people that go out of their way to help you and Warrior Forum’s “pact of wolves” that will jump at your throat if you say something even remotely close not to their liking. One thing I cannot really stand is that Digital Point’s Freebie section used to be “FIRE”. I have found countless gems lying about in their freebie section over the past year. But now it’s like a viagra stand for a pack of horny old timers getting paroled from the nursing home. Here’s some of the shit I witnessed today:

• Stumb Unlimited: Unlimilited
• Free Stumblessss
• 1:1 Stumble Upon Exchange
• Stumble + Review 1:1 – Fast
• UNLIMITED Stumbles – NO CATCH!

Alright maybe I am being a little harsh. I just never had the problem of acquiring traffic so maybe I am going a little overboard. I may also be over-reacting because that is the freebie section and anything goes.

But…

Something tells me that the quality of those sites and furthermore the projected traffic plans for them are going down the crapper. Who in the world goes and asks other people to stumble their sites in an Internet Marketing forum? I mean seriously, if your in a marketing forum and asking for the AWESOME (sarcasm) quality of traffic StumleUpon is going to send you, then you have issues and it’s time to go back to the drawing board. Now, I am not just talking about DP’s stumble exchange, I am talking in general.

Spending time in a forum asking for people to stumble you is a waste of time. You might get that influx (well maybe) of traffic right there, and then what are you going to do? Stumble users are very finicky and I truly believe they have some type of system in their minds when they land on a site to properly evaluate it and decide whether they will stumble it too.

Instead of asking people to Stumble you, why don’t you spend time creating something people WILL want to stumble?

First off, I am guilty of this myself. It was not until the other day that I was reading the “Social Media Daily” by a WELL-KNOWN Internet Marketer that I realized…or actually remembered, that I had just created one of the greatest mistakes you can do with viral information. Once your information hits the net and you start sharing it, there is no turning back. Once your information takes off, if you have not “perfected” the links inside the book, or anything else you wanted in place, it is just too late.

Here’s the mistake:

While reading the Social Media Daily which is a free report meant to go viral, I saw the two biggest mistakes you could make in a viral report. First off, I saw that that all the software’s recommended in the report were all links from the same domain. I cannot stress the importance of you not doing that. Right off the bat, your readers are going to see when they hover over your link in the PDF report, that all the things you recommend are pointing to folders or sub-domains from the same site. While you might think your in the clear because you have your affiliate link redirecting, I can assure you that your not. If you have all the affiliate links situated on one domain, your screwed, plain and simple. You need a domain for each, or else people get the idea your links are for profit, and that is a money killer for you.

Second mistake

Another mistake that jumped up and slapped me in the face, because I am guilty in the past of this as well, was that the software’s recommended had the specific names of the software in the report. What is to stop the reader from finishing your information when they have an “impulse” that they need that recommendation right now? They have already seen that your recommending it thru the same domain as all the other links in the ebook, and now you have just given them the specific name to the software. This is a huge mistake that you should avoid.

In the word’s of John Reese “You should do a little blind marketing”. Instead of saying check out this “RSS Submitter”, you could say something like “this 200 directory RSS submission tool” and have this as your hyperlink instead. If your using just a domain and redirecting to the affiliate link, you stand a much better chance of surviving without an affiliate link hijacking.

These are just little mistakes, but they carry such heavy consequences, especially when your trying to market to other marketers. I was in shock when reading the report initially and saw this. A little chuckle and then more of an “ahh crap, I did the exact same thing”. Funny how I had to read someone else’s report just to find my own mistakes. Let this be a lesson to you though when writing your next viral report.

I do not really consider Software Production a long term income goal that I would be comfortable with. It is in my experience that providing information requires a heck of a lot more technical skills, and a lot less support. I would prefer to have my businesses run more on autopilot so that I could expand and leverage other niches. Although providing Coaching and Support is a must, it is a lot easier to do when the information has been supplied to the best of your knowledge.

Another thing that I have found that cuts down on the amount of “post” support or help after supplying information is I have made it very clear since I started Marketing Online, that I only report with tactics I have used and succeeded with. Furthermore, in all of my disclaimers, I clearly state that not doing exactly what I say and how I say, can warrant results which I would be unfamiliar with. I find it quite hilarious of all the crap floating about on the Net that has been rehashed. This is just bad information selling at its best. The more you speculate in your findings, the more support you are going to have to provide.

By the way, isn’t reporting speculation in your information considered “fraud” when you have promised riches overnight on your sales-page? It would be wise to note, that people actually get into a lot of trouble or get hardships brought down on them, most notable from the Better Business Bureau.

It seems to me that providing false claims or “intended claims” are a huge bullet point into coaxing people to buy these days. It is in my experience that your only making more work for yourself. Speculating earnings and “what could have been” reporting are a major downfall that leads to tons of questions later down the road.

I have to say that Software Production, while it maybe a long term income goal, is one that yields support which takes time away from building your business. It is only logical in my eyes (my opinion) that you would want to build as many successful businesses as you can and repeat the cycle as many times as you can.

Begin Rant: I was really trying to hold this off as long as I could. Unfortunately, at the expense of yet another forum blowup and yet another reputation shot to hell, I feel I must stick a really sharp needle in this balloon, and burst this bubble that has been nagging me for ages.

There is a new age of Internet Marketers among us. Whether we accept or not is irrelevant, they are here and they are penetrating more and more forums everyday. It seems that this generation of Internet Marketer likes to take on the persona that they are someone else. Whether it be a person who is successful, a copy of a persona already portrayed online, or just a blatant liar who thinks that what they are doing is “cool”. I have personally known, and still know people that portray this image. Do I agree with it? No. Do I hound them like it was my business? No. I probably should, yet I wait and let them destruct themselves.

Most of the people who I approached in the past that portrayed a “false” persona, usually turned into an argument. Sometimes it spilled right out into the public view. I have since held my tongue since the last person I went after, as it almost cost me a forum membership. I knew for a fact he was a fraud, I didn’t want to prove it. What I really wanted to do is push him over the edge, until he admitted it himself. In most cases, I must have a gift or something, because I can usually push people to the edge, and when they actually realize how deep the whole is going to be, they give up, admit they were wrong and usually disappear.

What I am seeing lately is a “new breed” of Internet Marketers. Most of them are 21 years old or less, and a majority of them are still in high school. I have met some really successful high school marketers, but for the majority, I really think they need a trip to the principal’s office for some corporal punishment. It is absolutely ridiculous. The lure of a few bucks or a large sum seems like it is enough, to become someone else, and in most cases “someone successful”.

I am here to tell you right now that even though you might get away with it, that does not make you successful. Success takes hard work, determination and in this business–patience. Being able to have the fortitude to capitalize on great things and repeat them is a major focus of longevity. Lying, or taking on a persona that your successful, while it may work for awhile, someone will always catch on. I have tracked down some of the greatest “spammers” and “identity proof” people in the world. I highly doubt that a young person portraying themselves as successful, can hide for very long. Your bound to be found out sooner or later.

Let it be a lesson to you. Everything you do or say comes back to you 10 FOLD. I should know, at times I have often experienced this myself:). It does not matter if your the nicest person in the world and your trying to help people. If your portraying yourself as a big shot or something else, your still (dare I say) frauding people. While it might look alright to you, eventually your going to come down a path that leads down two roads. A. You will have an epiphany and hate what you have become or B. People are going to realize what you really are.

If short lived success at the expense of fraudulently claiming to be something your not is your thing, by all means do whatever you wish. In the end, your still going to have to travel those two roads at one point or another.

Anyway I linked to the post. The man she writes about, I can pinpoint him in a heartbeat from the Warrior Forum. Absolutely ridiculous with his post. Although she speaks her mind, I can only imagine what she was really saying. He did in fact give out on a ghostwriting project awhile back then comes back with a 3 million dollar claim.  This seems odd to me as well. I will not go into anymore detail, read her post for more clarification.

I am here to give a perspective on recent Forum Liars I have encountered

This is a doozy, I must say. All 3 recent events, postings and arguments have been the result of those 3 people being under the age of 18. Now, I do not mind young people in this business, I actually know a 14 year old man that makes more than 90% Internet Marketers. The thing that separates this guy from the rest of the (what I deemed) worthless herd, is that he is 100% honest to everyone and more importantly…he is loyal. 2 qualities that will take you a long, long way in this business.

Just recently I sold a confidential tactic to 20 close people from the Rich Jerk forum. I actually hang out there the most, as I have a lot of friends there. I sold this to 20 people and 1 one of them decided to sell it on his own. Now, he claims to made “improvements” on the product. Now, that is off topic but what happened was that he lied in another forum and to his mailing list. He claims a “business partner” which is I “the product owner” had just given him a new tactic to sell. There is lie #1. Lie #2 comes in the forum he is selling the tactic in when he claims to be some awesome blackhat marketer for the last 3 years. Lie #3 comes when another RJ member and person I consider friendly flat-out asks him if he is an RJ member. He responds with a “no” you have me confused with someone else.

Long story short, I indeed went public and pointed him out both in the RJ forum and in the forum he was selling the tactic in. I was not really all that upset that he resold the tactic that he agreed to not talk about, I was pretty pissed at him lying. I know damn well, he probably did not even put the methods in use. If he had, he would have seen the value and not gone and sold more.

It is just another sad case of immaturity and it really sucks. Lying at such a young age when you first start out in this business is going to haunt you for the rest of your career. People carry personal grudges for a long time, especially if they know you tried to commit fraudulent claims. Despite loyalty being a key component for building last relationships among people, you definitely destroy your reputation by lying. Keep that in mind next time, your mouth gets bigger than your ass.
