ASW 2010 Is Over And I’m Ready To Rock
Well… Affiliate Summit West 2010 is finally over and I’m ready to get back into the grind. Before I do though I want to tell you about the event. I’m sure you have seen everyone else posting about it, and while I’m sure they have a lot of great things to say about the conference… I unfortunately do not.
The Affiliate Summit conferences in general are very good. I enjoy them and I will continue to attend them. BUT… I honestly do not like going to the main event. The summit is way too crowded. It’s hard to walk around the meet market. I walked in… Tried to get to the back of the room… Got half way and turned around. It wouldn’t be so bad if the tables were just a little bit farther apart. The problem arises when you have 10 affiliates (for example) trying to stand in front of one table. You can imagine the congestion that arises. I think the problem with the meet market could have been alleviated if there were multiple entrances to the event. I think affiliates need to also realize that the meet market is where you go to meet new contacts that you can go back to during the actual event. It’s called a MEET MARKET. Not a STOP AND DO BUSINESS RIGHT THEN AND THERE MARKET. Okay… So I might be blowing this out of proportion. But seriously the meet market is way crowded and way hot on the inside.
The actual exhibit itself is awesome. It’s not as crowded as everything is spaced apart pretty well. The point of the actual exhibit is where you can go to meet those new advertisers or new networks that you found during the meet market. It is a place of business where million dollar deals are being made. Some booths do it better than others by creating an environment that affiliates want to be at. Convert2Media has this down to the “T”. They know what affiliates want. Other networks… Unfortunately don’t know what they are doing.

Why CashTactics Will Never Be An A-List Blog
A lot of forum drama and a boatload of bickering between bloggers has spawned this post. You know that part when someone like John Chow says that you should not reveal your failures to have a successful blog? I think that is utter bullshit. I’m going to come right out and say it from the bottom of my heart. I’m not looking for self-pity or compliments. I am going to straight up tell you why this blog will never be a chart topper in the Make Money Online niche.
- Because I dont feel it can be – No Confidence is a bad thing.
- Because my business and blog postings do not revolved around one business model online. People have always said in forums that you cannot be an expert in everything from PPC, SEO, Email, and yada yada. Oh yea? Well, I’m f#cking doing it. I do it everday, and the income is not going down, it’s going up. I may not be an expert and I never claimed to be, but I do this day in and day out fulltime and it is not doing anything but making my bank deposits larger and securing a better future for my fiance and 3 kids.
- Because I am a smart mouthed asshole. This I will admit has had ramifications on me. However if your a tenderfoot who cant handle it, I did not want you reading this blog in the first place. My blog and the people who read it daily are winners. Winners dont quit when they get hammered on something they messed up with, they rise to the occasion and do it right the next time.
Warrior Forum Keeps Sucking Ass – How Many Morons Can Their Be?
Thanks to That Marketing Chick I caught a comment on what we already discussed about Ringtones of a someone selling the Ringtone methods in a report on The Warrior Forum. I actually used to go there a lot and bust people on their WSO’s. I thought I was supposed to be a good Samaritan and let the Mod’s know of bullshit but after the last few WSO’s I tried to burn went unnoticed, I finally said screw it. You can’t save everyone I guess and the crusade is becoming more and more pointless everyday. Even though it’s only $10, it is things like this that will quickly begin to add up over time and eventually cost you out your ass. I should know, I spent as much on a new car as I have information online.
Just sad to see that they could have came here for a measly few minutes and saved a month’s worth of hosting or even the domain fee for the method. Sheep never learn though and there is quite an abundance of them over there. I’m seriously contemplating on whether I should travel over there and take them people for about a quarter million dollars this year. I figure if I package every idea or method I use online I can easily make that much this year just screwing around with them. Sad and pathetic that place has become. Ah well, who gives a shit right?

What makes me want to puke even more, is there are people who probably look up to these contestants and what they have accomplished………………………………..or trying to.

They have accomplished putting up a syndicated Internet Marketing Reality TV show online for you to view free. Cool right? No, it doesn’t make you cool and neither does watching it. If anything, it probably makes you stupider and most likely you spent valuable time watching it and not working on your business. Good job, you have just fell into Internet Marketing trap #1. You should be proud, treat yourself to a drink, like a whole bottle and later on, you can top it off with maybe some sleeping pills. Your going to need all this by the time I point out what a pile of trash this has become.
Make Money Blogs Get Re-Ranked And A Little Pissed…Maybe?
I was cruising around my favorite blogs today reading up on the peeps to see if I could find just one post that wasn’t talking about PageRank. This shit over the last few days has really got me on the edge of maybe wanting to overdose a little on my meds. Seriously, if I see another PageRank post, I just may go into a deep, long sleep. As many people that there are out there claiming to make money, it sure does strike me odd that a shitload of them are talking about PageRank. I guess using it to squeeze some dollars is somewhat of a business model, I don’t know because I have NEVER once sold a link on ANY of my sites. Oh, I optimize for Search Engines and have been in some heated debates about PR before, but over the last few days watching the big boys get nuked has never made me laugh so hard.
Anyway, that’s another can of worms…back to the topic.
I’m cruising along my favorites such as Jon’s SEO Blog, Eli’s BlueHatSEO and then Stuart’s PPC and Affiliate Marketing Blog when I came across this post by Stuart. At first I was relieved I finally found something being written about other than PageRank, but as soon as I saw this:
Looking further down the list past 30 you’ll actually find more useful tips about Making Money Online, why? Younger blogs have to give away much more useful information to attract new readers, whereas larger & much more established blogs can get away with writing paid reviews & such but still keep the readership due to their authority status.
