February Contest Winners

I’ve gone and tallied all the commentators for the February Contest and it looks like Denise has won! Here are the respected usernames and comment totals next to the name along with the cash prize amount they have won.

  1. Denise (36) – $100
  2. GoKarter (27) – $75
  3. Chris (23) – $50
  4. Della (21) – $50
  5. Scott (20) – $50

Thanks for all the conversation everyone! Also be sure to use the contact form and send me your Paypal email. Try to put a few identifiers in your message although I know most of the heavier talkers around here.

 Ok now RSS.

We did not hit 400 Subscribers but who really cares. I’m still gonna dish out the cash. I think with theme change and the fact that I spent like 2 days trying to get an answer from Feedburner on the email subscription form may have put a damper on it, but who knows. Overall I am thrilled that we added around 130-140 subscribers in just 29 days in February.

So I have randomly chose 6 subscribers for the cash prizes. (Hopefully they are still reading HAHA). Next time I believe I will establish maybe a points system or something a little more organized as I just pretty much winged this one. Here are the winners who need to send me their Paypal address. I dont want to give out the email so I will just put out the username that I see:

  1. Bigmo3125 – Winner of the $200 Prize
  2. Pryda X – Winner of the $100 Prize
  3. Benjamin (Benjamin Maker) – Winner of the $100 Prize
  4. Gary Resource – Winner of $50 prize
  5. chiayee.lai – Winner of $50 prize
  6. kidbossman – Winner of $50 prize

Blog Monetization Strategies From Blogging Fingers

Blog Monetization StrategiesA quick word on Matt from Blogging Fingers. He has just released a Blog Monetization Strategies E-Book. Normally you wont see me pimping ebooks but the book is free, Matt seems like a cool guy and if you get a little dead time after production hours it should be a good, quick read. I dont get anything from this post other than the privilege of letting you know about the information he is giving away.

There is a contest surrounding this book and you will need to optin to get it. FruitfulTime has sponsored the book and is allowing Matt to give away 10 free copies of the software totaling $300. That’s actually a contest I like. I dont own the software but if any reader from this blog happens to win a copy of it, I would be more than willing to post a review if you felt like writing one. I would be happy to link to you or work something out so that your time spent writing the review is worth it.

FruitfulTime TaskManager helps you manage your ‘to do list’. It has an easy to use interface and allows you to input your tasks and split them into subtasks. You can keep notes related to the tasks, contacts of other people working with you on a task and set reminders to make sure not to forget any deadlines.

Head over and grab a copy of the book and get yourself entered to win a free copy of the FruitfulTime Task Managing Software. Be sure to read all the details on how to get many entries to ensure you have the best possible chance of winning.

I am not involved with the contest in any way. I posted this just for the hell of it.

Response To Contest Comments

Just a short video over the comments during this past January last day contest. Keep in my mind that all of them were great and pick even more than I was going to initially. I appreciate all responses and hopefully the readers do to. In case you forgot the February Contest is underway starting today. I will be dishing out another $875 if the blog meets the goals. Looking at it right now we only need 125 more subscribers. That's about 4-5 subscribers per day average. My guess is the wallet will be thinner come the 28thWink. Top Commentators contest is underway as well!

End Of January Contest Winners

I've read some of the greatest comments/articles that I have ever read in my life over the last 24 hours. In case you missed it, I wanted to hold a little contest yesterday and see if anyone has learned anything from this blog and what have the applied it to. Since the blog had a high traffic day yesterday and increased 20 more subscribers throughout the night I can only assume that some people were not at that level where they will comment the blog. Totally understandeable but we encourage you to participate in the conversationsCool

With that said, I got to say that I am still blown away by the content posted after the contest. Everyone that took the post serious and responded seriously had a wonderful and deeply inspiring answer in itself. Now I am seeing that this contest is killing me. I would gladly hand out cash to everyone that posted because everyone of those answers was overly deserving. To try and compensate for that and the fact I like to overachieve (or try to), I am NOT going to dish out $300.

I am going to dish out $600Cool

I will be recording a video today after I make my rounds to go into detail about the answers I chosen. For now I would like to announce 3 winners of $100 and 6 winners of $50. So many great answers I had to do something!

Winners of the contest:

  • Derek–chillyd – $50
  • GoKarter  – $50
  • The Dog – $50
  • Keith – $50
  • Dukey  – $100
  • Kris – $50
  • Della – $100
  • Cyrus – $50
  • solvetheproblem -$100

End Of January – Small Contest Today

I got to say over the last couple of days I have really been feeling like crap. Must be the weather with snow on the ground here. With that said I thought I would do something that ALWAYS cheers me up—> Hand out some dolla bills yo!Money mouth

So here's the contest which runs until 12 am Central Standard time today January 31st, 2008. I want to hear from you what you have learned that was valuable from this blog and what you have done with it. There are two parts to the contest so you must answer both to qualify. The first month of the new year is over and there's no better time to get cranking than now. In addition I will be picking out the 3 answers I find are the best. For these 3 contestants I will award each $100 via Paypal tomorrow morning.

All you have to do is reply to this post. Comment on what you have learned that was valuable to you and what you did with it to further your business online. Contest runs until 12 am folks so just leave your comment, article, whatever you like beneath this post and tomorrow morning I will announce 3 people who will walk away with $100 each. (That's better than any article directory pays by farCool)

CashTactics February Contest

Ruckles is going to hand out some dolla bills yo at the end of February.

Here’s the contests. I dont try driving traffic to this blog. I hang out at some forums and comment other blogs for fun but dont really do anything for traffic. The Alexa hit 55K today (if anyone cares) and would love to get some more people reading the blog and joining the forum.

So here it is:

If CashTactics hits 400 RSS Subscribers by February 28th I will dish out

  • 1 $200 Cash Prize
  • 2 $100 Cash Prizes
  • 3 $50 Cash Prizes

Along with that I will also be doing a Top Commentators Contest:

  • First place gets $100
  • Second place gets $75
  • 3rd, 4th and 5th place get $50

That’s $875 up for grabs just for stopping by and maybe letting other people know about the blog.

RULES –> Dont f#ck with me. I want real people that really want to read what I write and WE talk about. Also dont spam me. As someone who was once gifted in the art of spamming, I would highly suggest using your best judgement when commenting. I will swiftly bring down the hammer on anyone that tries to screw that up.

Thanks, (HAHA) should be a great contest…..or contests!

Contests Are Stupid – How About This One?

I read a lot of blogs and I understand the importance of building a readership…for the most part. It seems that most blogs online dealing in the “make money online” niche are mainly their to use their blog as a cash machine. Sure, I can understand that. I have some programs and post affiliate links as well from time to time, but lately these blogs are starting to become dull and boring. Nobody is innovative anymore. Could it be that they rely on their blogs a little too much?

Personally, if I didn’t have this blog, I guarantee you I would make more than I am making now. That’s not a douche bag, or offending comment either. It’s plain and simple. I make money in other areas online that exceed my living expenses and laid back lifestyle that make blogging is a blast for me. It’s my escape, my getaway if you will. It gets me away from talking on the phone to article writers, it gets me off IM chats with fellow marketers and bloggers, it gets me away from optimizing web sites and blogs, it gets me away from………….everything.

So without going off on a rant here, I traveled the blogosphere today after responding to all the posts in the new Cash Tactics Discussion Forum. What I saw was pretty pathetic to say the least. Most bloggers hold these contests where they give away shirts, (their brands woopie doo). Although I have nothing against this, the contests are really something that takes away your focus online. Focus is important, it’s critical. Your here to read up and gain the advantage of getting yourself on the quick track to better wealth and well-being and these damn “make money online” bloggers are trying to get you to take a few minutes out of your day and participate in their contest for a measly gift that is no way going to further the effort you already have and are putting forward.
