$25,000 drawing – What would you buy if you won?

This contest has been canceled due to lack of interest. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hey guys. This has been a long time in the works. I’m just going to jump right into it an explain whats going on. For about 6 months or so I have been trying to find a network that would allow me to do a contest for $25,000. This isn’t just any old contest though. This is the real deal where every affiliate has a chance to win. Not just those affiliates that make the big bucks. Let me explain.

Karaktr Media and I have teamed up to present a contest that awards a ballot to individuals for certain actions. Each ballot will allow the individual to enter in a drawing for $25,000 at the end of the contest. This is our way of “leveling the playing field”! Those affiliates who don’t promote in big numbers will easily be able to generate one ballot a day, while those who generate huge numbers can earn up to 5 ballots a day. Does this not make it fair for everyone? Now you have a chance to win even if you are just starting out in this industry!

So who exactly is Karaktr Media? How are they different from other “networks”?
Well to be honest with you … They aren’t a network. They are the advertiser. That means that they own the products. They create them. They distribute them. This is good for you because you can potentially generate a higher payout than the network can give you because there is no middle man. You can also take advantage of their REOCCURRING COMMISSIONS!!!…WTF… Yeah it’s weird… I’m not going to lie… Reoccurring commissions for pushing Berries or Pipe cleaner (colon cleanser). Can you imagine how much you can generate from this one little perk on a month to month basis? Crazy I know… Oh and… Payouts START at a whopping $42!

Now what do you have to do to join? Well… That’s the easy part. There are 4 ways to win. And in all honesty you can learn about them by going to the contest page.
Click on one of the “Four ways to win” to be taken to the proper section on the page.

Good luck and happy fishing!

Top 5 Posts for May

Hey guys. This is something I want to start doing on a monthly basis. I think its always good to reflect on how the month went. At the end of each month I would like to take sometime to post the top 5 most read posts during the month. This is excluding the members forum and will only show actual blog posts from Cashtactics. So here we go…

  • Affiliate From UBD!– This was posted back in March… Apparently people are Googling the term cause it’s bringing in traffic. This was a post written up to explain a little about Jump on over and check out the video if you haven’t already.
  • Making Money With Torrents And P2P Networks – Some General Tips
  • – This thread has been around since 2007. However, it has been in the top 10 since. This is basically giving tips on making money with torrents. A must watch if you are a torrent advertiser. Remember though. Torrents are not an accepted source of traffic for your CPA offers. That being said. They are still an excellent source of traffic. I recommend this video to anyone. Watch the whole thing. If it doesn’t load the first time just refresh the page. Towards the middle there is a pretty big torrent traffic tip!

  • Response: Adding CJ Products To Kaboodle– Ruck took some time to explain placing Commission Junction products on Kaboodle. There is big money here! This video is another oldie but goodie. . If it doesn’t load… Refresh the page. These vids are hosted here and not anywhere else.
  • The Landing Page Example!– This was posted last July. It’s a very basic design for a landing page. Most of this is to give you an idea of what elements should be on a landing page. Check it out. Get some ideas. And don’t forget to check out the landing page tutorials that have been posted here on the blog.LP Tutorials (Click here then scroll down to find them)
  • FREE PPC Mentoring Apply Now!– The last of the 5 is our Free PPC Mentoring post. This has been a hit and several people have taken the information found within and ran with it. I’ll try and get a hold of them later on this week to post up some testimonials for anyone on the fence about this. Join up with MarketLeverage and join us in the forum!

Affiliate From UBD!

If you have been one to make the rounds to the different marketing blogs then you will have no doubt seen that Unique Blog Designs has been hard at work for other bloggers. Today (March 17th) UBD has launched an affiliate marketing product for WordPress that will blow your mind!

This product is for Affiliate Marketers and more specifically for those affiliate marketers that like to use wordpress for LPs and Review style LPs. Take a look at their promo video:

Is that not the koolest WordPress tool you have ever seen! Now don’t get me wrong… This isn’t for those affiliates that can make their own pages and designs. If you can do it on your own then I suggest you do it on your own. But everyday I get asked from affiliates who they can out source design and coding too. A lot of the readers here are new to affiliate marketing and don’t know how to layout div tags or even basic HTML. This tool will solve that problem.

Here is a screen shot of my favorite part of this tool:

affiliatethemes Do you see that? You have complete control over the layout! Complete control over how your review site will look!

Now if you ask me I would suggest getting the middle package. That way you have a license to use this on multiple domains. If however, you aren’t comfortable messing with html and designs then go with the largest package. There are over 30+ designs filled with a whole slew of layouts for review style landing pages. The only thing you have to do is configure the look by selecting drop down boxes and then add your content!

This product just amazes me. I have this running on several campaigns I have running right now. I set it up initially to see how quickly it would take to implement a design. I normally use Dreamweaver, but this has eliminated the NEED to use Dreamweaver for most of my LPs.

Inside of the members area you will find 20+ vids on how to work this system. You will also find some podcasts from other Internet/Affiliate marketers such as Jonathan Volk, Jim Kukral, Yaro Starks, and even Spiderman. This tool is revolutionizing the way that we as affiliate marketers use WordPress to manage our PPC campaigns!

Enough of my blabbing about the product. You really need to jump over to their website and check it out! If you are truely serious about creating a PPC business then this is hands down a product you need in your arsenal! I am only promoting this because it really is a gem to have for those that want a quick and easy way to create LPs. You really need to jump over to their website and read about all of the features this product provides! They even have several examples set up for you to view. If anything, look at the examples so you can get a better idea of what truly great review site should look like!

FREE PPC Mentoring Apply Now!

The Landing Page Tutorial will continue later this week.

Ok, so we told you we had some good things in store for you. Well, here is one. We have decided to help our readers and anyone else who is interested in learning how to build a profitable online PPC business (or to help you expand your current one) and we will do it for FREE! You will not pay us a penny! Of course there are requirements and let me explain the only way we are capable of doing this. There has to be a way for us, Kris and I, to be rewarded for the huge amount of time involved from answering questions one on one. So here is how it works.

1. You must  create an account with MarketLeverage through this link –>MarketLeverage <– or have already created an account through this blog in the past. If you already have an account with MarketLeverage that isn’t underneath us and you still want to join the Free PPC Mentoring, you must contact me via the contact form. Basically, we are able to make the mentoring completely FREE for you, only if we are able to receive referral commissions from you being underneath us. We are not trying to hide this, nor are we trying to “Bank” off of you. But there has to be some return on our time that we will have to put into this. Also, if you have been too cheap to sign up for PPC Classroom, The Black Ink Project or PPC-Coach, then this is an alternative for you. But don’t think we are going to let you sign up, help you and you never make a dollar with MarketLeverage. So read the next requirement.

2. To maintain your free access into the PRIVATE PPC MENTORING section of the forum, you must generate atleast $20/month in gross revenue on MarketLeverage. That is simply one sale or a few small sales a month. That is totally easy for even a new person and will help us to eliminate people who will just waste our time and never benefit from our help. Also, it will show us who is serious and really wants to succeed.

That is all the requirements that you must accept to apply for the mentoring help. Kris and I enjoy helping people and as long as we can help and still be compensated for the time we take away from our own business, we are more than happy to help you build a business and succeed online.

BONUS for PPC Mentoring Students

You will also have full access to an SEO mentoring section and for those students who learn to master PPC and build up to 10K or more a month, will gain EXTREMELY EXCLUSIVE access to a PPV Mentoring Section, where you will be able to explode your profits many times over!

If your CD number is listed below, send a message to with the subject line saying “PPC Mentoring” and Kris will add you so that you will have access to the Private Section of the forum. Currently there is no information in this section of the forum. But there will be very soon. The main idea of this is for you to be able to ask specific questions of any kind and we will directly answer them or point you to the right location to find the answer. Your success = Our Success = We All Happy! We will also release some exclusive tips and strategies that you won’t find floating around the internet. All information shared in the private section of the forum will be exclusively for the students who join it and no others!

ATTENTION – Please Include Your Forum Name and the MarketLeverage CD# When Emailing KRIS So That We Can Add You. Thanks!

We hope this will help to motivate you and bring you to where you want to be in your online ventures. So Apply Now —–> MarketLeverage <—–!

Best Of The Week – Money Blogs

I had been neglecting this part of the blog for awhile now but I thought I would get back into the swing of things as I had more time this past week to make some daily rounds and catch what people are writing about.

First off my congrats to Jonathan Volk for hitting his first $3,000 day. If you will remember, Jonathan is the author/owner of Affiliate Unleashed from whom I got a tshirt from. Jonathan has become a daily blog that provides kickass content mostly aimed at Affiliate Marketing. Jonathan recently did a guest post on John Chow providing helpful tips on Evading The Google Adwords Slap – Guide To A Great Quality Score.

Zac Johnson recently added another category titled CPA Spotlight to his blog. Zac is reviewing affiliate programs and offers to give people the heads up on what could be hot to promote. So far I have caught posts over offers and programs such as Boca Java, eHarmony, and Forex Currency Trading. Zac is also the author of the infamous free Super Affiliates Guide To PPC Marketing. It goes without saying that Zac’s blog is a daily read.

Maki over at Dosh Dosh blogged about reaching 10,000 RSS Subscribers and why people subscribe to a blog. A very informative post that actually goes against the grain a little bit. Instead of showing what he DID do for the blog, he explains what he DIDNT do. Dosh Dosh is a regular favorite and another daily read for me.

Paul from UberAffiliate goes against the grain a little bit too. Unlike me, Paul does not really reveal too much of exactly what he does. With that said he did open up and do a little Case Study over Diet Pills and how he ran it. Even though it looks like he didnt stick with the campaign he does go in depth explaining everything he did and the revenue he made indicating that the niche could be profitable. UberAffiliate is yet another daily feed that I scan over daily.

Mark over at 45n5 did a pretty cool post over winning your blog’s popularity contest. 45n5 is yet another daily read and Mark seems to come up with good thought provoking and sometimes argumentative posts. 45n5 also sports their version of the Top 100 Make Money Online blogs, which (IMO) needs an overhaul. I believe Mark will be Affiliate Summit West in February.

Just some great content from some great folks I visit daily!

Best Of The Week – Make Money Blogs

Yea I am pushing over 100 hours this week if you couldn’t tell already, but I manage to find 5 outstanding posts. Enjoy!

Best of the Week – Make Money Blogs

First off I am going to rag on Paul from UberAffiliate before I thank him. BTW — You should really check him out. The name says it all, the dude is an affiliate powerhouse. It was the post titled The Secret To Beating Yahoo’s Quality Score that really caught my eye this evening. Paul mentions a very effective (I personally thought secretive) way of getting around Yahoo’s retarded quality score when it comes to utilizing their Pay Per Click services. Now that it is out of the bag, I would expect some type of change as word starts to spread. Let’s hope not, but we can’t neglect the fact that Paul is quite known for not holding anything back, which I can totally respect and I thought the post would be of great use to anyone that is tired of Yahoo slimming your profit margins down to ridiculous levels.

I caught another interesting post on Courtney Tuttle about the 3 Reasons You Desperately Need RSS Subscribers. I found the title very intriguing as I find myself in this very situation. The commenting and social interaction here has picked up lately but the traffic statistics are a lot higher than I thought when I checked and figured I would have more subscribers. Court took the time to outline some very important points on the benefits of extending my RSS count and you should read it as well.

Tim over at eMonetized is starting his Build A Niche Store Case Study. There are quite a few Build A Niche Store Case Studies floating around the net but I thought Tim’s was great because he is starting from scratch. He looks to be outlining the entire process and this is great news for anyone wanting to build their own Ebay type sites. I personally have 4 of them but they are all used for PPC campaigns in other countries :). If your looking on a play by play it looks like Tim is going to provide your free hookup. Tim doesn’t know it, but he is responsible for me setting up an Emigrant Direct High Yield Savings Account after he made a stunning post about Where To STASH Your Affiliate Cash back in November.

Lynn Terry is a great woman. Her Self Starter Weekly Tips Discussion Forum was one of the first forums I happened to come across when I came online. Unfortunately I haven’t visited it much in the last year due to time constraints but it’s a great place filled with great people and you should definitely get super involved over there! On top of her being cool as heck, she had a post on her blog Passion vs Profit: How To Monetize A Niche You Know Absolutely Nothing About. We have all been here as some time or another and if you haven’t you most likely will be at some point and time. Lynn provides a detailed post and great tips on where to get started when you have no clue about the niche.

Here’s another sharp dude with another great post. Mark over at Digerati Marketing titles a post Will It Make Money? Top 3 Considerations. He goes in great detail about he goes to:

try and outline my thought process and some of the tools I use to judge whether ideas make it to the web or to the recycle bin

It’s a long, detailed and info packed post and I thank Mark for refreshing that it requires a some thought before jumping into sites too quickly.

Five great posts from five great bloggers providing but nothing info packed and highly useful information to make our lives as marketers and entrepreneurs a lot easier than it could be. Check them out, they all have great info throughout every one of their blogs.

Best Of The Week – Make Money Blogs

Man, it’s Saturday already. Even worse, it’s Saturday evening. I slept till almost noon today. What? Yea, I went to bed around 2 am last night and woke up around noon. Weird for me yes, that is about 6 more hours than I normally sleep. I believe since the metabolism is slowing down (obvious because of my weight gain) it is having an effect on my insomnia. Extra rest couldn’t hurt I guess. Anyway, here are some interesting things I caught throughout the week.

First thing I saw was the Shoemoney had PRK Laser Eye Surgeryand is recovering. It looks like he is doing well from his video. Shoemoney is definitely a character. There are tons of mixed reviews about the guy throughout all the forums on the net, but the fact remains, I have an enormous amount of respect for him and enjoy stopping by his blog everyday to see what he is up to.

I caught a great post on Courtney Tuttle – Before You Sell Your Blog where Courtney talks in detail about the ramifications and why it would not be a good idea to sell your blogs. I thought the summary “Time is your friend. Starting over is your enemy” was pretty cool. I don’t know much about Courtney but I found the blog via 45n5 and have bookmarked it and added the feed to my reader. So far it looks and feels like a great place to extend my reach and learn some more as I continue my businesses online.

Chris Jacobson has a cool post where he outlines his secret Internet Marketing resource. It’s no secret that I have been a member of the Rich Jerk Forum for awhile. I have never read the book completely but have found the forum as one of the most valuable resources on the web. The forum is where the gold is. Chris went so far as to even post a video I recorded for Youtube about why you should join and some benefits and the type of people your likely to meet. Now I should say that I have indeed left the forum, (personal reasons) as I launch my two companies at the first of the year I am in need of utilizing my time a little more towards building the foundations of the two companies I am about to start, but this should not take away the fact that the forum rocks and the people over there are some of the most successful and down to earth people you will ever meet.

I happened to catch Andrew Wee with another Friday Podcast The Social Marketing Identity Crisis. Andrew always provides useful podcasts and this one is just another great reason why I look forward to every post he puts out there. I have made it a point to start showing my face at some of the Internet Marketing events this year and he don’t know it yet, but I am going to try and meet the guy.

I also happened to bounce over to the CPA Affiliates blog as well. I got a post titled What it takes to make it BIG in online marketing. As I read thru it I found myself harping on the things I do right according to the post and things I do wrong. I find that I don’t network enough. I am very private in who I look to work with on my projects, but I need to open up a bit more I feel like. I think the biggest problem for me is that people are asking me questions and I never have enough time to go and seek people who might have answers to MY questions. Instead of putting it off or spending time researching it myself, I should probably go introduce myself and see what comes about.

Well, that’s it for this week. With the holidays everyone seem to take a break and that’s good. I did happen to catch some good reading around the web anyway so hope you enjoy.

Best Of The Week – Make Money Blogs

I like to cruise and read up on what everyone is writing about. While I normally don’t read those general “let’s trade links” or “let’s have a contest every day” type of blogs, I do however respect when people write great, informative posts, or even posts that brighten their personalities. So starting off:

  1. Derek Beau wrote a damn good post on 9 Sure-Fire Tips To Continually Improve Your Blog
  2. Andrew Wee of course with another great Friday Podcast Friday Podcast: Are You A Prisoner Of Your Own Limitations?
  3. Yaro Starak wrote a post that I actually got more from than most people. I read on average at least 10 magazines a week. My girl is always getting pissed at the stores because I am so fixated on the magazine rack. We have this thing where I simply hold up my wallet and she immediately comes back down to earth and realizes one of the major reasons why we live so comfortably now is because I am an information freak. Yaro wrote a post How To Make Millions Selling Ugly Shoes and it goes a long ways to show exactly how something so small in this world can bring you more money than you thought possible. Just the simplicity behind it is amazing.
  4. I love reading CashQuests, for a second there when I first started reading I thought Kumiko might have been as brutal as mean. Maybe so, but I loved this post on WidgetBucks Is Run By Monkeys . I never once liked the looks of the program and found it quite hilarious that the sheeple were pimping it out on their blogs and forum signatures.
  5. Of course Maki from Dosh Dosh always gives priceless information — Social Media Marketing In A Nutshell is an excellent primer post to get you to better understand the world of Social Media
  6. How could I not post Stuart from Earners Blog’s $14M commission? $14M Commission from 1 Transaction
  7. Of course the man Darren Rowse has his new T-shirt shop up — New ProBlogger T-Shirt Shop Design, I think I will probably get my 2 sons a couple for Christmas I guess. I normally am not into this sort of thing, but Darren does something that nobody else online does, and I don’t even know if anyone is capable of it, so I might even get myself one :)
