Top 5 Posts for May
Hey guys. This is something I want to start doing on a monthly basis. I think its always good to reflect on how the month went. At the end of each month I would like to take sometime to post the top 5 most read posts during the month. This is excluding the members forum and will only show actual blog posts from Cashtactics. So here we go…
- Affiliate Themes.net From UBD!- This was posted back in March… Apparently people are Googling the term cause it’s bringing in traffic. This was a post written up to explain a little about affiliatethemes.net. Jump on over and check out the video if you haven’t already.
- Making Money With Torrents And P2P Networks – Some General Tips
- Response: Adding CJ Products To Kaboodle- Ruck took some time to explain placing Commission Junction products on Kaboodle. There is big money here! This video is another oldie but goodie. . If it doesn’t load… Refresh the page. These vids are hosted here and not anywhere else.
- This thread has been around since 2007. However, it has been in the top 10 since. This is basically giving tips on making money with torrents. A must watch if you are a torrent advertiser. Remember though. Torrents are not an accepted source of traffic for your CPA offers. That being said. They are still an excellent source of traffic. I recommend this video to anyone. Watch the whole thing. If it doesn’t load the first time just refresh the page. Towards the middle there is a pretty big torrent traffic tip!
Affiliate Themes.net From UBD!
If you have been one to make the rounds to the different marketing blogs then you will have no doubt seen that Unique Blog Designs has been hard at work for other bloggers. Today (March 17th) UBD has launched an affiliate marketing product for WordPress that will blow your mind!
This product is for Affiliate Marketers and more specifically for those affiliate marketers that like to use wordpress for LPs and Review style LPs. Take a look at their promo video:
Is that not the koolest WordPress tool you have ever seen! Now don’t get me wrong… This isn’t for those affiliates that can make their own pages and designs. If you can do it on your own then I suggest you do it on your own. But everyday I get asked from affiliates who they can out source design and coding too. A lot of the readers here are new to affiliate marketing and don’t know how to layout div tags or even basic HTML. This tool will solve that problem.
Here is a screen shot of my favorite part of this tool:
Do you see that? You have complete control over the layout! Complete control over how your review site will look!
Now if you ask me I would suggest getting the middle package. That way you have a license to use this on multiple domains. If however, you aren’t comfortable messing with html and designs then go with the largest package. There are over 30+ designs filled with a whole slew of layouts for review style landing pages. The only thing you have to do is configure the look by selecting drop down boxes and then add your content!

The Landing Page Tutorial will continue later this week.
Ok, so we told you we had some good things in store for you. Well, here is one. We have decided to help our readers and anyone else who is interested in learning how to build a profitable online PPC business (or to help you expand your current one) and we will do it for FREE! You will not pay us a penny! Of course there are requirements and let me explain the only way we are capable of doing this. There has to be a way for us, Kris and I, to be rewarded for the huge amount of time involved from answering questions one on one. So here is how it works.
Requirements
1. You must create an account with MarketLeverage through this link –>MarketLeverage <– or have already created an account through this blog in the past. If you already have an account with MarketLeverage that isn’t underneath us and you still want to join the Free PPC Mentoring, you must contact me via the contact form. Basically, we are able to make the mentoring completely FREE for you, only if we are able to receive referral commissions from you being underneath us. We are not trying to hide this, nor are we trying to “Bank” off of you. But there has to be some return on our time that we will have to put into this. Also, if you have been too cheap to sign up for PPC Classroom, The Black Ink Project or PPC-Coach, then this is an alternative for you. But don’t think we are going to let you sign up, help you and you never make a dollar with MarketLeverage. So read the next requirement.
Best Of The Week – Money Blogs
I had been neglecting this part of the blog for awhile now but I thought I would get back into the swing of things as I had more time this past week to make some daily rounds and catch what people are writing about.
First off my congrats to Jonathan Volk for hitting his first $3,000 day. If you will remember, Jonathan is the author/owner of Affiliate Unleashed from whom I got a tshirt from. Jonathan has become a daily blog that provides kickass content mostly aimed at Affiliate Marketing. Jonathan recently did a guest post on John Chow providing helpful tips on Evading The Google Adwords Slap – Guide To A Great Quality Score.
Zac Johnson recently added another category titled CPA Spotlight to his blog. Zac is reviewing affiliate programs and offers to give people the heads up on what could be hot to promote. So far I have caught posts over offers and programs such as Boca Java, eHarmony, ReUnion.com and Forex Currency Trading. Zac is also the author of the infamous free Super Affiliates Guide To PPC Marketing. It goes without saying that Zac’s blog is a daily read.
Maki over at Dosh Dosh blogged about reaching 10,000 RSS Subscribers and why people subscribe to a blog. A very informative post that actually goes against the grain a little bit. Instead of showing what he DID do for the blog, he explains what he DIDNT do. Dosh Dosh is a regular favorite and another daily read for me.
Paul from UberAffiliate goes against the grain a little bit too. Unlike me, Paul does not really reveal too much of exactly what he does. With that said he did open up and do a little Case Study over Diet Pills and how he ran it. Even though it looks like he didnt stick with the campaign he does go in depth explaining everything he did and the revenue he made indicating that the niche could be profitable. UberAffiliate is yet another daily feed that I scan over daily.
Best Of The Week – Make Money Blogs
Yea I am pushing over 100 hours this week if you couldn’t tell already, but I manage to find 5 outstanding posts. Enjoy!
Best of the Week – Make Money Blogs
First off I am going to rag on Paul from UberAffiliate before I thank him. BTW — You should really check him out. The name says it all, the dude is an affiliate powerhouse. It was the post titled The Secret To Beating Yahoo’s Quality Score that really caught my eye this evening. Paul mentions a very effective (I personally thought secretive) way of getting around Yahoo’s retarded quality score when it comes to utilizing their Pay Per Click services. Now that it is out of the bag, I would expect some type of change as word starts to spread. Let’s hope not, but we can’t neglect the fact that Paul is quite known for not holding anything back, which I can totally respect and I thought the post would be of great use to anyone that is tired of Yahoo slimming your profit margins down to ridiculous levels.
I caught another interesting post on Courtney Tuttle about the 3 Reasons You Desperately Need RSS Subscribers. I found the title very intriguing as I find myself in this very situation. The commenting and social interaction here has picked up lately but the traffic statistics are a lot higher than I thought when I checked and figured I would have more subscribers. Court took the time to outline some very important points on the benefits of extending my RSS count and you should read it as well.
Best Of The Week – Make Money Blogs
Man, it’s Saturday already. Even worse, it’s Saturday evening. I slept till almost noon today. What? Yea, I went to bed around 2 am last night and woke up around noon. Weird for me yes, that is about 6 more hours than I normally sleep. I believe since the metabolism is slowing down (obvious because of my weight gain) it is having an effect on my insomnia. Extra rest couldn’t hurt I guess. Anyway, here are some interesting things I caught throughout the week.
First thing I saw was the Shoemoney had PRK Laser Eye Surgeryand is recovering. It looks like he is doing well from his video. Shoemoney is definitely a character. There are tons of mixed reviews about the guy throughout all the forums on the net, but the fact remains, I have an enormous amount of respect for him and enjoy stopping by his blog everyday to see what he is up to.
I caught a great post on Courtney Tuttle - Before You Sell Your Blog where Courtney talks in detail about the ramifications and why it would not be a good idea to sell your blogs. I thought the summary “Time is your friend. Starting over is your enemy” was pretty cool. I don’t know much about Courtney but I found the blog via 45n5 and have bookmarked it and added the feed to my reader. So far it looks and feels like a great place to extend my reach and learn some more as I continue my businesses online.
Best Of The Week – Make Money Blogs
I like to cruise and read up on what everyone is writing about. While I normally don’t read those general “let’s trade links” or “let’s have a contest every day” type of blogs, I do however respect when people write great, informative posts, or even posts that brighten their personalities. So starting off:
- Derek Beau wrote a damn good post on 9 Sure-Fire Tips To Continually Improve Your Blog
- Andrew Wee of course with another great Friday Podcast Friday Podcast: Are You A Prisoner Of Your Own Limitations?
- Yaro Starak wrote a post that I actually got more from than most people. I read on average at least 10 magazines a week. My girl is always getting pissed at the stores because I am so fixated on the magazine rack. We have this thing where I simply hold up my wallet and she immediately comes back down to earth and realizes one of the major reasons why we live so comfortably now is because I am an information freak. Yaro wrote a post How To Make Millions Selling Ugly Shoes and it goes a long ways to show exactly how something so small in this world can bring you more money than you thought possible. Just the simplicity behind it is amazing.
- I love reading CashQuests, for a second there when I first started reading I thought Kumiko might have been as brutal as mean. Maybe so, but I loved this post on WidgetBucks Is Run By Monkeys . I never once liked the looks of the program and found it quite hilarious that the sheeple were pimping it out on their blogs and forum signatures.
- Of course Maki from Dosh Dosh always gives priceless information — Social Media Marketing In A Nutshell is an excellent primer post to get you to better understand the world of Social Media

$25,000 drawing – What would you buy if you won?
This contest has been canceled due to lack of interest. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Hey guys. This has been a long time in the works. I’m just going to jump right into it an explain whats going on. For about 6 months or so I have been trying to find a network that would allow me to do a contest for $25,000. This isn’t just any old contest though. This is the real deal where every affiliate has a chance to win. Not just those affiliates that make the big bucks. Let me explain.
Karaktr Media and I have teamed up to present a contest that awards a ballot to individuals for certain actions. Each ballot will allow the individual to enter in a drawing for $25,000 at the end of the contest. This is our way of “leveling the playing field”! Those affiliates who don’t promote in big numbers will easily be able to generate one ballot a day, while those who generate huge numbers can earn up to 5 ballots a day. Does this not make it fair for everyone? Now you have a chance to win even if you are just starting out in this industry!
So who exactly is Karaktr Media? How are they different from other “networks”?
Well to be honest with you … They aren’t a network. They are the advertiser. That means that they own the products. They create them. They distribute them. This is good for you because you can potentially generate a higher payout than the network can give you because there is no middle man. You can also take advantage of their REOCCURRING COMMISSIONS!!!…WTF… Yeah it’s weird… I’m not going to lie… Reoccurring commissions for pushing Berries or Pipe cleaner (colon cleanser). Can you imagine how much you can generate from this one little perk on a month to month basis? Crazy I know… Oh and… Payouts START at a whopping $42!
