A New Age Of Internet Marketing Forum Liars
Warning This Post Is Meant To Offend
What in the world is going on lately. This is so ironic that I was browsing about and remember reading some of Alice Seba’s Internet Marketing Sweetie Blog awhile back. Well, I (googled) and save it back into my favorites because I fell immediately upon a post titled “Forum Liars“. I thought to myself “this is going to be great”! Alice has always spoken her mind no matter where she goes. This is the #1 feature I look for in a Marketer and more importantly (a person). I have seen her under fire before in the Warrior Forum in various topics (or say debates). Nonetheless, this chick rocks hardcore and I love reading her blog.
Anyway I linked to the post. The man she writes about, I can pinpoint him in a heartbeat from the Warrior Forum. Absolutely ridiculous with his post. Although she speaks her mind, I can only imagine what she was really saying. He did in fact give out on a ghostwriting project awhile back then comes back with a 3 million dollar claim. This seems odd to me as well. I will not go into anymore detail, read her post for more clarification.
I am here to give a perspective on recent Forum Liars I have encountered
This is a doozy, I must say. All 3 recent events, postings and arguments have been the result of those 3 people being under the age of 18. Now, I do not mind young people in this business, I actually know a 14 year old man that makes more than 90% Internet Marketers. The thing that separates this guy from the rest of the (what I deemed) worthless herd, is that he is 100% honest to everyone and more importantly…he is loyal. 2 qualities that will take you a long, long way in this business.
Craigslist Marketing And How To Do It
After the release of Mark McDonald’s Craigslist Profits (which is now closed) I really began to receive a lot of PM’s from the Warrior Forum and just general emails from other forums I frequent. Unfortunately, I do not know if he sold that site or not, or exactly what the deal is. I had one hell of a testimonial on his sales page using that product. I remember buying it and joining Mark’s forum very vividly. I should probably tell you now that the guy was either 14 or 16 years old at the time that I bought it. An awesome guy, and I wish I had started at that age. Anyway, the product was basically a set of MP3 Audios that I listened to.
It contained tips and tricks on how to market on Craigslist. The most important thing about marketing on Craigslist is your ad copy. I was blown away at Mark’s examples of his ad copy. It was really mind blowing. I decided to give it a try. The next morning I had email accounts setup and my ad copy written for them. I was marketing a link building campaign and a telephone SEO Consultation. Needless to say, I got more clients than I could handle. I did do it for over a month, but I got so overwhelmed after my first week of posting ads, that I shut it down completely. All in all, I was able to gross over $14,000 in about 12 days. Not too bad if I do say so myself.
Now that I have covered that I am very familiar with Craigslist and I have had some really good success, let me give out a few pointers when using.
Squidoo Cracking Down
Squidoo is once again cracking down. If you remember a few weeks, some really smart (note sarcasm) Bolivian spammer decided to crank out about 400 lenses a day. Wow, what a genius. Way to go and screw it up for everyone. Anyway, during the uproar this future cocaine dealer (most likely) caused, Squidoo decided to do away with iFrames. This gave me personally a really hard blow to the mid section. It barely missed my no no spot as I had only about 50 lenses with list signups. You might say 50 lenses? Yes, that is correct, 50 lenses with list signups. That is not the total number lenses in my possession. I am one for extreme numbers as you all know, so let us just say that I had QUITE a few lenses total.
They were all pretty damn good looking to. I custom built a lot of them myself before outsourcing the work to some fellow faraway offshore labor:). I had at least 3 modules on them so I was well within the Squidoo guidelines.
Enough of the rant, this is absolutely ridiculous what follows. It is not ridiculous in any means in regards to Squidoo. I completely understand the logic on their part. Here’s what they had to say:
Uh oh.
We’re worried that the lens you just published might be (gasp) spambait!Due to significant levels of abuse, there are certain topics that Squidoo just doesn’t permit lenses on. This page sure seems to cross into one of those areas. So, you’ve got three choices:
Go Back and Edit (I want to fix it)
Delete the lens! (I’ll make a lens on something else instead)
OR
Stop Looking For Handouts And Start Busting Tail
I just wanted to pop in and get this off my chest right quick. Over the last year and more importantly, (over the last couple of month’s), I am getting the ever frightful and extremely irritating question “How Can I Make Money Fast”? Well, first things first. Yes, you can make fast, but I am always under the presumption that when someone asks me this, I feel they are not going to totally commit to what it takes to make money.
Let’s just aside put that dumbass question and ask a real one shall we. “How are you going to make money”? That is the question you should QUIETLY (notice I said quietly) ask yourself. If your completely retarded in regards to the Internet, then I just cannot take the time to answer the question. Matter of fact, I cannot even answer the question at all, for anyone. The answers lie in your desires, motives, persistance and work ethics. There are many more factors involved, but if you got answers to those 4 then your off to a damn good start.
There is one thing that rings true in this chaotic Online Marketing World. Work Ethic is going to get you further and faster than the next guy (or girl). Instead of asking how your going to do it, your time is better spent on attempting what you have already read.
Keyword Research Profitability
To this very day, I get a lot of questions of things like “How do I know if a keyword is profitable”? or “How do I know if this is a good keyword”? Now, I am going to reveal something to you that is very basic, as I am sure that all major players or so called experts are doing. I am neither and I do this very thing, so hopefully this will give you some advanced knowledge into what profitable keyword research is all about. First I am going to explain exactly what I do, then I will give you some general advice.
First things first. I have money and I put away money for product and keyword research. I do not have time to go thru the free methods of keyword research. I use PPC as my #1 source for keyword profitability. Why on earth would someone ever write articles for Search Engine Marketing on keywords they were unsure would produce unprofitable results. The very thought is actually quite disturbing, and I have lost sleep pondering the thought from time to time.
I ALWAYS research and test my keywords for profitability before I ever create a site. I like to overkill a niche when I decide to make a site over it. I am comfortable with 10 keyword phrases on my site, and 10 more that I can use to outsource articles being written that I can submit to article directories for SEO and Directory traffic. I NEVER create a site or promote one WITHOUT profitable keywords.
So in general, here’s what I do:
Clickbank Cracks Down On The One Time Offers
Disturbing news has just hit me personally. Although I have been reading the circumstance, posts and rants about Clickbank’s initial release on doing away with OTO’s (one time offers), I never really thought about it much. I only have one website (membership site) on Clickbank and it does actually have an upsell OTO. This really blows, almost like a kick in the gnads. I have long dreaded putting any products on that (just my opinion) horrible network.
I think the only thing that network really was good to me for was allowing me to absolutely destroy Survey Sites in affiliate sales. Here I was with 5 accounts just pummeling MySpace, Friendster and HI5 and I got away with it. No big deal to me now to come right out and say it. Fox Media already had their go at me, and that is the reason I shut down my other blog. I was quietly removed from teaching my eccentric Myspace tactics but that will in no way stop me from expressing the pure wickedness of Affiliate Marketing Clickbank products there this past year. What a fun time that was. I truly enjoyed the $60,000+ from Paid Etc and SurveyIncome System :).
Anyway, back to the topic. Here’s the direct quote I read in the Warrior Forum and it is almost identical to the response I got when asking Clickbank regarding the status of this crap they have just pulled.
Clickbank’s order fulfillment requirements state, “It is very important to give customers what they want as rapidly as possible. Do not present the customer with advertisements or links to things that they did not purchase. Senseless distractions will confuse and annoy customers, and will greatly increase your risk of losses due to refunds or disputed sales and increase customer complaints.”

Profitable SEO And How To Do It
With that said, I really may have a different outlook on SEO than most. I never waste time with it. I always have used paid advertising with proper tracking to find out keywords that have brought me sales. In the beginning, I was shooting blanks in the wind. Nothing worse than getting a site up in the SERP’s and having 0 profitable keywords. It’s just wasted time and hard work and I could have made more pitching a lemonade stand in the dead of winter.
I have always had the approach of SEO in mind. Even when Consulting Clients, most of the companies never really cared about high Search Engine Rankings. They wanted sales and their services put out in plain view on the Internet. Try telling a company that spends millions of dollars a year on television advertising and gets instant sales, that rankings take time.
It’s just a big mind screw sometimes,
but the companies have stuck with me
and I have impressed them beyond belief.
Granted SEO Elite
played another huge part in automating
all the tedious work I had to do. Nothing better
than making 3-4K a month from each company and
all you have to do is get link partners for them.
There were various other tasks involved,
but link partners was a major focus in terms of
SEO and bringing other sites’ traffic to my clients.
