Just a little update on EVERYTHING

Hey everyone. I just wanted to give a little update on what is going on in the Cashtactics world.

First off we have our second Meetup202 going on tomorrow at 11:00 am.  If you are in the DFW area and want to join us for a little networking then please feel free to stop by.  Here is the link to the group so you can find out where we are eating, what we are doing, and who else is going! >>CLICK HERE<<

———————————————- t-shirts have been made and sent off to the printers.  This has actually been in the process for a long time now and I just need to get to the phone and call them with the sizes that I need. The shirt was originally designed a few months back and due to some busy schedule I have had I just never got it to a printer.  Well the design is now at the printer and just needs a phone call from me to say DO IT. I changed the design colors so I could drop this on a black shirt.  I’ve played around with a few colors and this looks the best.  A white shirt looks good to but just reminds me of a plain old “T”. Here is a pic of the shirt for those of you who haven’t seen this yet.

BAM… I know… it’s sexy don’t lie.

May 18th, 2009 – Multiple RSS feeds in one easy location

affbuzzI don’t know about you… But in my spare time I like to see what other people are talking about.  I like to read blogs and forums and find out what the “buzz” is in the Internet/Affiliate Marketing community. was created by Justin Barr of San Francisco, CA. A few days ago I asked Justin why he created the site and this was his reply: “CAUSE I’M GOOD LIKE THAT!”… No I’m just kidding I never asked him that.  But I must say… I wish I was the one who thought it up.

Affbuzz is where I can go in the morning for 15 minutes to see what everyone else in the IM/AM blogosphere is talking about.  I can immediately see which posts are new so that definitely saves me some time. I can also see what the buzz is in certain forums.  The best thing is… I can do it all without opening up 100 different windows.

If you have a blog that you would like to see on don’t be afraid to let Justin know.  Infact… I’ll help you out. Click Here and make a suggestion to Justin.

Here is my own little suggestion for Justin (Lets see if he takes this and runs with it or runs the other direction).  Set up CATEGORIES!.  Tabs at the top of the page that people can click to see just forums, PPC blogs, SEO blogs, Justings “Fav” blogs, Corporate blogs (CPA Networks and Search Networks).  Just a suggestion.  Might make my morning go a little quicker.

Justin you out did yourself on this one.  Excellent job and keep up the good work!

PPC Suicide – Part 3 – Must Read

jump_off_cliffOk, so I decided to scratch the idea I had for this post and write about a new idea that literally EVERYONE struggles with, even those so called Super Duper Affiliates. As I write this I am presently on a plane flying to visit my family for a few days and if I’ve never told you so, I completely enjoy the ability to work from almost anywhere. I am a bit frustrated at the moment as my flight was not only delayed for almost an hour but once we did board we had to turn around and de-board 20 minutes later and wait on a totally new plane altogether. No worries, by now I am calm and collected and don’t mind sacrificing time for safety. Moving on…

The issue of today’s discussion is something everyone has heard before (repeated tips doesn’t mean it’s outdated or bad) but not everyone understands the life or death effects that can result from the decisions encountered, at least relating to PPC marketing. I bet you’re asking, “Well, what the heck is it…” and I say, “PATIENCE!”. No, I’m serious, PATIENCE is the tip. Why? How come? What for? I’m not a patient person, I can’t have patience, and what should I do? I’m not going to lie to you, I’m not the most patient person in the world and in some cases I have no patience at all but being an entrepreneur that is a characteristic you MUST develop in order to succeed. Quick decisions usually result to be your biggest mistake, that is, until you’ve developed enough experience and skills to know how to follow through with a good decision even if it’s made quickly.

Did you hear about Google’s NEW rule?

That’s right… Effective June 4th Google will no longer be protecting trademark terms. That means you can now bid on your favorite music artists, celebrities, and brands. This is HUGE if you run polls or even competing company offers. Here are my three favorite picks from the list of over 150 countries that Google will no longer investigate.

  • United States (US)
  • United Kingdom (UK)
  • Canada

BAM That’s money right there. Unfortunately my #1 country isn’t on the list.

Click here to see Googles official list!

Click here for the article in Search Engine Journal!

Get those campaigns ready. It’s going to be a dirty fight to take over some of those trademarked terms!

You will need to remember to look at the original TOS for the offers that you are running.  Some offers make their own rules and you will still need to follow their rules on bidding on trademarked terms.

The Next Big Step

foot_stepsAfter you have your little work space set up. You then need to form a game plan.  Every successful business has a game plan.  They have a direction they want to take their business and they know what they need to do to get it done. Now is your turn. This is like goal setting, but it is also about structure. You can do this really formally with an official business plan or you can do this informally with some notes on a piece of paper. I suggest writting a business plan as that will get you pumped and motivated to get some work done.

This first thing you want to do is identify what exactly it is that your business does.

Do you:

  1. Run PPC campaigns
  2. Run PPV campaigns
  3. Perform SEO for others
  4. Build websites for others
  5. Build personal websites
  6. Web design for others
  7. Copy writing for others

There is a whole list of things that you business can do.  My suggestion as you are starting out is to pick only one or two things that you know how to do and learn to do them really well.  Once you get that down then branch out.  Look at how my business was structured.  I started doing PPC for myself.  Then I started to do PPC for small businesses.  Then I did SEO for small businesses. And lastely I added webdesign for small businesses.  That means that I went from doing PPC for myself to a full on PPC, SEO, and design service for small businesses.  Just because you are an Internet Marketer does not mean that you have to ONLY do your Internet Marketing.  Some of my best clients paid me $10,000 just to perform SEO, and set up (not manage) a PPC campaign. That’s a lot of money for a little bit of work. The great thing is that they were happy because they didn’t know how to do it… But they found someone that could do it well.

Market Leverage Contest Update

Hey Guys and Gals,
Here is your update for the ML Contest. This is a direct copy and paste from my MarketLeverage account.

CD7971 $12.63
CD8306 $0.06
CD14782 $13.95
CD15126 $12.83
CD15145 $0.65
CD15152 $8.57
CD15182 $6.56
CD15248 $5.65
CD15258 $0.23
CD15455 $4.12
CD15533 $5.85
CD15552 $3.20
CD15638 $0.24
CD15657 $9.00
CD15691 $0.81
CD15701 $3.92
CD15775 $23.03
CD16177 $0.60
CD16274 $7.00
CD16731 $6.44
CD17369 $1.19

Now remember… In order to be eligable you need to make a minimum of $1000 in your Market Leverage account over the months of April and May. In that table I have shown you will see the commissions that I have made from them.  When someone is eligable you will see my comissions from them is $50 or above.  So from looking at this table… No one is eligable for the ML prize.  BUT… If you remember at the end of the contest I will also be giving away $100.  $50 to two different people that didn’t quite make the $1000 minimum.

So for now… Keep on trying to get your ML earnings up so that you can take home these:

I’ll keep you updated on the 15th or 16th of this month so that we can see who is getting closer to claiming the prizes.

Good luck everyone!  Keep up the good work.  And remember… If you have questions just join the Forum and ask away!
