Making Money With Ringtones - Scale It Up

There’s been a lot of talk over the last week or so that gaming sites such as Youtube with watermarked urls for ringtone offers can make you money. Of course it can! You must be living under a rock if you have not done this before. There are many variations to the method but most of what I am seeing is that people are saying to watermark a video with something like:

Get The RingTone @

www.yourdomain.com

That’s all I do. Some morons are putting the word free in there so it’s only a matter of time before they are swiftly brought back down to earth. However the key here is LOTS of videos and destroy all the amateurs out there doing it. So how do you do that? Easy. I will tell you how here in a minute. First off you should know that in order to beat everyone else, you can’t think like everyone else. Start thinking about how people are doing things and how you can do it better. In regards to this simple stupid but VERY profitable method here’s exactly what I do.

1. To take care of the video sites I have 4 programs.

  • Ultraget
  • Total Video Converter
  • Video Watermark Factory
  • Video Post Robot

Google them. You can use anything you want in regards to these tools, these are just what I use.

With Ultraget I quickly take 5 Youtube videos and download them and they come out as FLV’s. I then mass import all 5 videos into Total Video Converter and convert them into MPEG’s. I then take these converted videos and mass import them into Video Watermark Factory and watermark each video with what I said above. I simply have my domain forwarded to a ringtone Affiliate link. I take my newly watermarked video and setup 5 quick projects in Video Post Robot. This tool uploads to 27 video sharing sites at once. Setup the videos to upload every hour for however many you have. Personally, I like to do 15-20 videos a week to the video sharing sites per account.

The Guitar Hero Craze

This is one of the most largely explosive niches in gaming I have ever seen. Guitar Hero is taking the world by storm. If your not in this niche, you should be. I wont go into specifics on the offer or network I am running it on or even where I am running it at but the niche is widely profitable towards gamers. You might think that these are just a bunch of kids playing but your wrong. I play it and I have seen a picture of Courtney Tuttle with his guitar. Here’s a kid that makes me look completely ridiculous though:

Top Commentators And WP Cache

I added a couple of plugins this evening. Wp Cache and Top Commentators. Let me know if anything seems off. It seems to be looking good to me. The Top Commentators was a pain in my ass because this theme can be incredibly tricky to work with on widgets. The Cache should keep load times very quick.

The Top Commentators is kind of a way to reward those who communicate regularly on the blog. While I may only carry a PageRank 3, I make it very clear that I give it all away on the blog. From commenting to the homepage, it’s all juice passed to you. I could care less about the rank as long as someone is listening. I usually get indexed within a couple of hours so the spiders to make a few trips here everday.

Market Leverage Affiliate Network Review

I thought I would fire up a review since it seems the section has not been getting much attention lately. I thought I would go ahead and review the Affiliate Network Market Leverage. Now I am bringing this review to you completely unbiased. There’s not an affiliate link at all within this post (cuz I could not find one in the network). Even if I could have come up with one, it would not have made any difference. This is the part where I try to coax you thinking that the network is not that great and then I turn around and tell you how I cannot live with out them. Have you ever seen those types of review pages? Frankly, they make me sick and anyone who falls for that shit is stupid…yes, it does make you stupid…look it up.

I’ll come right out and say it. I am only a 10 day old affiliate with Market Leverage. Yup, I started on January 10th and frankly, I have not even begun to look over their offers. I would like to blame laziness (it’s so easy to fall back on) but the truth of the matter is I am uber swamped as of late and hopefully around February 1st, you will find out why. :)

Back to Market Leverage though.

Your probably asking why am I doing a review if I have been with them only 10 days and not had much time to look thru their network?

And I reply:

See the stud in the picture? That’s Kyle my Affiliate Manager. Request him or die.

YouTorrent Takes The Cake!

YouTorrentViva La Youtorrent! For all you torrent hoodlums you might be interested to know that I have checked this site out and downloaded an illegal J/K, AWESOME download there last night. Supposedly YouTorrent boasts over 150,000 searches in its first 3 days launch. You really need to check it out because it is by far my favorite torrent site now.

Youtorrent is working as a meta search engine that is retrieving its results from other sites such as Pirate Bay, Mininova, ISOHunt,  and BtJunkie. It lists the torrents accordingly from most seeds and peers to least, ensuring faster download times for all users. Checking it out and taking a look at Tech Crunch’s story it was said that the site is on complete privacy and operating out of the Netherlands. Usually this is just a cover as most likely the owners are indeed in the US (who knows though). It will be interesting to see how long it lasts. As of right now though the site is rocking!

Just looking around a little more, according to TorrentFreak, Youtorrent searches 12 sources:

It currently searches 12 sources; Mininova, The Pirate Bay, IsoHunt, MyBittorrent, NewTorrents, SuprNova, Monova, Vuze, BitTorrent, LegitTorrents, SeedPeer and BTjunkie.

On a side note, while traveling my forum rounds yesterday there were people claiming that Rapidshare had been shutdown. Stop jumping to ridiculous conclusions if you dont know what your talking about. It makes you look stupid if you dont know the real story.

Bomb Or Dud?

I think some people would love to put a bullet in my head after I throw out this little gem. Take a look:

SuperBowl 2008(Click To View Larger)

I would think that after talking about Yahoo Buzz and Google Trends we would develop another sense –>Foresight.

Foresight is critical when we are marketing upcoming events. While the Superbowl may not be showing up in the buzz index or the trends, you can bet a dollar to a doughnut (thanks Bob) that it will. Right now there is nobody there. I wonder what a Superbowl survey linked to a hot prize CPA offer zip or email submit would do? Better yet, right now would be excellent for a short blog littered with Adsense Superbowl ads?

Sniping Domain Variations For Your Adgroups

One of the best ways to get cheap but targeted traffic is to scoop up every domain variation and add it to your pay per click arsenal. This technique is nothing mind blowing but I thought I would go over it anyway and maybe spark some new ideas. I will use the ecards example from previous in correlation to relating to this material. You will still want to develop a keyword list and depending how exhaustive you want your options this can go on forever.

First let’s look at a keyword set:

ecards, birthday ecards, animated ecards

Now first off, let’s transform these into singular and plural -> ecard, ecards, birthday ecard, birthday ecards, animated ecard, animated ecards.

Right on, now we can move into domain sniping. This is sometimes a shot in the wind. However, you should not overlook this technique. You can do this manually (not suggested) or you can use a tool to greatly save time. I am not even going to throw an affiliate link at you. I believe in this tool so highly that I hope you will have a look at it. The tool is called SpeedPPCand it works wonders. For the technique I am about to write on, I am not aware of any other alternative to get domain variations at the SpeedPPC will return them.

Develop a keyword list and then take your most popular keywords (ones with lost of searches..most likely more competition) into a domain keyword list to target. It’s fairly easy and goes something like this:

ecards
