If there’s one thing I hate it would have to be Yahoo’s and AOL’s aggressive spam filters not letting my autoresponder broadcasts and follow-ups thru to my list members. With Aweber though there are some certain tweaks we can adjust (most importantly how we craft our emails) our messages to help ensure stronger and better email deliverable rates. Higher rates help ensure that our list members are at least getting our emails to view for themselves whether they will click thru and open them or not. That part is all about your Headline but let’s shift our focus to getting these emails to their inboxes first.

My autoresponder of choice is of course Aweber so if you dont have it then this may be slightly different for you. If however, you do and do not already know this, then I hope this helps.

After creating your broadcast and/or follow-up message to be sent out, there’s an option to check your Spam Assassin score. The higher the score the more likely your email is considered spam and this does pose quite a hindrance on how your email is or is not accepted by email clients. Yahoo and AOL are the worst of the worst in my opinion. It does not matter if your prospects are double optin, they are just bad.

I’ve created a sample here with headlines such as “work from home” and “make money online”. This will apply to almost any niche though. It is important in a niche such as this one or weightloss, debt, and/or insurance that you craft the emails to lower the score as much as possible.

At least Aweber is kind enough to give us some tips on how we can make our messages better to help get thru the filters:

Azoogle (no I wont link to them) has done yet another thing that disgruntles me. See I like to test these CPA companies ALOT to see who’s on the up and up. So I gave Azoogle a taste last year by running some simple text links and banners on some sites I own:

Only $22K and change. Not a lot I know. The thing you have to realize is these sites run themselves. This is income for which I do ZERO, I repeat ZERO work for. In the beginning sure, it required work, SEO, traffic building and all that wonderful jazz but this is the payout from a few sites that run on autopilot. In case you forgot, autopilot income is better than sex. Yes, you can quote me on that.

Now here’s this whole story that actually turns out be one big circle jerk with me kind of eating my words this morning. You see, CPA Affiliates brought out the email this morning and I saw it on my morning blog rounds. So congrats to CPA Affiliates  for having the first dibs on this. (Proper credit is appointed to good bloggers).

After 4 months of sending email after email and post after post in the Technorati forums I got to reclaim my blog. It got flagged for review over 4 months ago…WOW.

 Anyway I just basically setup a whole new account and cannot even delete my old because Technorati makes it impossible. I saw in my old account a few blogs I had favorited so I went ahead and added them again. If you have a blog though we can do the ole Technorati switcheroo on the favorites thing. It works in both our favors. So add CashTactics and I will love you forever.

After 30+ comments and now dozen of emails over CPA Offers, Keyword Research and Landing Page Setup I thought I would take a crack and try to trim down the amount of incoming questions here in one shot. Let’s jump into looking exclusively at an email or zip submit offer from a CPA Network. We are not even going to worry about keywords right now but instead let’s focus entirely at looking at the offer before we even switch tabs or windows and start our market research. Chances are that if it does not somewhat appeal to you, you may not have success with it. This can spell D O O M from the get go.

After going thru TONS of offers you will come to find out that quite simply, some are a lot easier to profit from than others. This is really my main area of focus. While I COULD work on the offer and TRY to make it MORE profitable, I usually dont. I really dont have the time. So there are some things we can apply to ourselves and towards the offer before we ever start researching it.

Go to your account and choose and offer. Run your link in the browser and look at the landing page and what the offer is giving away. Now what I am about to say may seem downright cold-hearted. Chances are that if your not just the least bit *dirty* in your thinking then you will probably just earn peanuts in this type of business (if anything at all).

Lesson #1 - Who is this offer going to appeal to?

I am really not into stuff like this but the fact that Ximmy is now up and running and the fact that I see tremendous growth potential should warrant at least a mention about them.

Basically the whole idea of Ximmy is to pay you for sharing top sites, videos, stories and pictures from around the web. Upon reading their rewards page they say this:

Upon seeking a little bit more clarity on this their FAQ’s page was basically a model of what we already read. At least they have a contact page.

The bareness and lack of professionalism is a total turnoff. However they also go on to tell you about their Affiliate program. They pay you $5 for joining up and $0.50 for every referral. Peanuts if you ask me but I thought I would pass this along in case anyone has a list or blog readers that might be interested in it.
