My Diet Is Not Going So Good

Ok, I have to admit it. Over the last week I have been cheating a lot on my diet. I have been going to bed around 5 am every morning and then of course my fiance tells commands me to wake up at my normal waking time. I got a ton of open projects so the idea of “I need to take it easy” is simply not something I want to hear. I can’t go for a walk nor can I drive to the gym. There has been over an inch of sleet on the roads over the last 3 days and I am a wuss when it comes to driving on ice.

On top of all the bad shit that is going on, I decided to hop on the scales last night. Of course when I hopped on the scales I was eating a sandwich. (Go figure). The end result was not so good. I am up to 228 pounds now. The only bright spot in this whole thing is that I am putting on more muscle mass than I thought. Here a couple of months ago I spent some money on weight equipment so I could take little 10-15 minute breaks here and there while working.

I have also really slimmed down on the pop. Here, two months ago it was nothing for me to put those big bottles of Mountain Dew down. I am not talking about drinking 1-2 of them a day. I was easily killing of those plastic 6-packs you can buy. That is a ton of pop. Since I have kicked the pop down to one a day (most of the time) I have noticed that I don’t get really bloated anymore (thank god) and the “acidthroat” as I have coined it is not even there anymore. I am however on a steady dose of Prilosec OTC. Prilosec is a 14 day course that has turned into a 90 day course for me so far. I am not sure that is real healthy on the body but it makes me feel better. I don’t have to deal with all the heartburn anymore.

An Intro To Aggressive Article Marketing vs Progressive Article Marketing

I get a ton of questions all the time about “What’s the best way of article marketing“? I don’t think that their is any best way. I actually sit one side of the fence with this. Yes there are two sides of the fence here. On one side you have the aggressive article marketer who usually has a plan and sticks to it. They realize the possibilites and effects of Parasite SEO (using authority sites to get link juice or piggyback their authority into a funnel to your site). When you have a general idea on what it takes to achieve a ranking for a keyword then you will have a better idea how to gear up your article marketing efforts.

Seperate branding awareness from niche marketing (affiliate marketing etc…). I personally gave up having articles written to promote products. You may ask why, and I am going to give you answer that may offend some but will most likely open your eyes if you have ever struggled in this arena. The reason I do not promote affiliate products anymore directly from my author resource box is because I now have the resources to generate 10’s if not 100’s of thousands of pages for a variety of affiliate programs. Their are so many Ebay, Amazon and other affiliate network API’s and datafeeds that can be used by affiliates that it is almost defeating the purpose of sitting down to write articles or have them written promoting affiliate products. Now I realize some of the more successful affiliate article marketers may argue me on this fact but I have a simple reply. All we really need to do is have a race.  Here’s why I would knock the snot out of you.

Anyone Get Burned By The Agloco Fallout?

AglocoJust wondering if anyone got burned with the fallout of Agloco. Mr. Chow was on top of it quickly with his post AGLOCO Joins The Dead Pool. To tell you the truth I have no effing clue as to what AGLOCO is all about. All I knew was that it included a toolbar (right?) and came off really strong as some type of shitty paid to surf program. Maybe some people at the top of the chain made some cash or you yourself did. If so, I am interested to know the details, so tell me!

When I was a member of the RJ forum I saw a ton of people to make money online concept pimping AGLOCO and I could do nothing but sit back and laugh. As a matter of fact, I am not for sure, but I most likely took a cheap a shot at some of them. Seriously what a horrible business model, a real time killer and overall waste of time. It’s shit like this that can really take the wind out of your sails.

Best Of The Week - Make Money Blogs

Yea I am pushing over 100 hours this week if you couldn’t tell already, but I manage to find 5 outstanding posts. Enjoy!

Best of the Week - Make Money Blogs

First off I am going to rag on Paul from UberAffiliate before I thank him. BTW — You should really check him out. The name says it all, the dude is an affiliate powerhouse. It was the post titled The Secret To Beating Yahoo’s Quality Score that really caught my eye this evening. Paul mentions a very effective (I personally thought secretive) way of getting around Yahoo’s retarded quality score when it comes to utilizing their Pay Per Click services. Now that it is out of the bag, I would expect some type of change as word starts to spread. Let’s hope not, but we can’t neglect the fact that Paul is quite known for not holding anything back, which I can totally respect and I thought the post would be of great use to anyone that is tired of Yahoo slimming your profit margins down to ridiculous levels.

I caught another interesting post on Courtney Tuttle about the 3 Reasons You Desperately Need RSS Subscribers. I found the title very intriguing as I find myself in this very situation. The commenting and social interaction here has picked up lately but the traffic statistics are a lot higher than I thought when I checked and figured I would have more subscribers. Court took the time to outline some very important points on the benefits of extending my RSS count and you should read it as well.

Yahoo And Adobe Partner Up - US Content Publishers Get New Advertising Opportunity

Yahoo Adobe PartnershipAlright I realize I am a little late on this one, but I have been swamped to no end. Unfortunately, I am about a week late on this announcement but I felt compelled to let US Content Publishers as well as advertisers know that Yahoo and Adobe have indeed partnered up and will be serving content ads within Adobe PDF.

Great news for all that can participate. I am curious to know what type of results to see as an advertiser with Yahoo. I much rather have the option of picking the documents I would like to advertise in but unfortunately knowing the nature of Yahoo moving as fast as a fart stink in the Antarctic this feature is probably light years away. I guess it is something to get excited about as a content publisher.

Maybe now all those damn resell rights book that aren’t earning anything could pull a little cheese. My biggest concern now as a I start publishing more and more of my content is that the focus of the PDF itself has it’s own purposes. Most of the time I would have a chance for an upsell or at least something to entice people to sign up for a list I might have. I am wondering what type of distractions this may cause.

Thinking about Yahoo’s side of the fence, they desperately need this in their arsenal (IMO). According to the source:

Content now available as paid downloads or on a subscription basis could be opened up to a mass online audience using the Adobe-Yahoo ad service. Some publishers haven’t been taking advantage of ad opportunities for their content. That’s the case with many hobbyist and enthusiast newsletters.

From Zero To Hero Series - Revising Your Ebay Listing And Ad Spying

Here is another great tip for copying successful classified ads and revising your classifieds to get more views on Ebay. First you must be aware that only certain categories and sub-categories allow classifieds and you can find those here. This is really simple but it may have been overlooked by some or not thought of but I thought I would throw it out there for you anyway.

CLOSED - Design Me A Logo - Make Some Money

I currently have someone working on this.

I have contacted some services on getting an idea for a new blog design. I don’t think my right sidebar can take much more of anything I put on it, and I am going to be opening my own forum for other entrepreneurs to come and share ideas as well. I have a lot of features I want to include on the blog but just no room. I however, would like to get a blog logo designed.

If your designer you can make some extra money, today or thru this weekend. You can email me at –> ruck @ cashtactics.net and let me know how experienced you are. After reviewing your emails I would like some automated means to communicate with you so that you don’t waste any time and can make some money in the fastest way possible. We can communicate either by Skype or Yahoo IM. If you have MSN, I could probably install it. I really do not know what I want yet. You will have to be creative with the theme Cash Tactics, the new theme will be green like the header (sort of), or at least that is the idea. I just really would like something that stands out.

Email me and introduce yourself and give me an idea on what you can do, and the price you would like to be paid. Thanks.

Article Marketer Review - Mass Article Distribution

Bum MarketingWhat’s the best article marketing Distribution Service online? In my opinion for the last 2 years, it has been Article Marketer. I recently got an email from a reader wanting to know the details of Article Marketer so I thought I would put together a little review.

When I first started using Article Marketer about 2 years ago it was in it’s infancy. I distinctly remember going to the Warrior Forum and people griping about the lack of service and horrible support from Article Marketer’s staff. It was not a few threads posted about it, there were threads being posted every week burning Article Marketer for their lack of support. However, I must have been the luckiest guy on the planet or was just distributing my articles on the right days because in 2 years I have NEVER had an issue with them.

So How Does It Work?

I won’t preach to you the importance of article marketing. If your online and you have a website, you already know that you need traffic and backlinks, and writing articles and submitting them to directories is one of the fastest and whitehat ways to do that. With backlinks and increased traffic you could also establish brand awareness and make yourself a noticeable and authoritative figure in your niche. You could do it in multiple niches if you wanted to. With increased exposure from articles syndicating your content around the web and links to your site, you can also develop word of mouth or “type in traffic” from people sharing with other people about your articles and sites. What is even better, is that some Ezine owners can potentially bring you floods of traffic literally overnight by syndicating an article to thru their Ezines.
