Movies With That Pump Me Up

I have a few movies that I like to list, more specifically it’s usually the quotes from the movies that pump me up. All of these play significant roles in some weird way of my life.

#1 Gordon Gecko “WallStreet”

“If it looks as good on paper, we’re in the Killzone Pal”, “Nice to meet you, hope your intelligent”, “If this guy owned a funeral parlor, no one would die”, and my favorite “I look at a hundred deals a day, I choose one”

#2 Ben Affleck “Boiler Room”

“That’s it skippy, pack your shit, let’s go”, “Lucky for me, I happen to be very f#ckin good at me job, or I’d be out of one”, “Anybody tells you money is the root of all evil, doesn’t f#ckin have any”, and my favorite “They say money can’t buy happiness, look the f#ckin smile on my face, ear to ear baby”

#3 Al Pacino “Any Given Sunday”

“Inch by Inch, Play by Play, until we’re finished”, “We can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight or way back, into the light, out of hell”, and my favorite “when we add up all those inches, that’s gonna make the difference between winning and losing”

#4 Not really any quotes, but I love this movie and everything it signifies “V For Vendetta”

#5 Pacino And De Niro “Heat”

“I do what I do best, I take scores”, “Don’t get attatched to anything your not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat, if you feel the heat coming around the corner”

What about you? Any movies or quotes that stood out in your mind from Entertainment?

5 Day Case Study With Copeac

Copeac CPA NetworkThis past Sunday night I was feeling down in the dumps. Matter of fact I posted about it, and that I was feeling better. Sadly, I think I posted too soon as I have been in and out of crappy feelings all week. Tonight finally feels different, as I feel even better than before. On Sunday though, I was not functioning properly. Fatigue, dizzy spells and not being able to focus really hindered my ability and even my want to work. That’s a cool thing about working online though, we can stop when we want:)

So Sunday night I am looking thru my aweber account and I find a rather small list but one I have been building since the start of summer:

List

I have been able to acquire 1,775 double optin verified leads since the end of May. The niche is a rather competitive niche online and I have really slowed the promotion of it, but from the looks of it, it looks as if some organic or word of mouth may be coming into play here…Might have to check that out:)

Alright I have 1,775 list members and a new affiliate network Copeac. I think I have been with them a couple of months but since God does not give us the 40 hours I require to work in a day, we can say I been a bit behind lately. A lot of stuff to monetize and so little time to do it in. Sunday night, I was able to get around to it because I felt that I had to do something fast before I felt like logging off the computer again.

Will It Bother You If Ads Were On This Blog?

Just a real quick question so I can get a general consensus. Before you blast off that “this is your blog dude, do what you want”, or “Didn’t you say, you weren’t going to put ads on the blog”, just listen as I answer both of these.

First, yea it is my blog but I haven’t done anything to really benefit myself except a few straggled affiliate links here and there. Second, I made this blog as a place for people to come and run with some of the ideas and tactics I have used online.

I did say I wasn’t going to put ads on the blog, and I will tell you now, that the only ads that are going on this blog are from companies I personally work with. So your not going to some John Chow blog (nothing against the dude, actually realize that he makes money by SHOWING that he makes money — great concept) and see a shitload of flashing 125X125 images. No, I get constantly asked what are my favorite affiliate programs, Contextual Ad companies and CPA networks, so I think I might list them.

I have thought over and over whether I should keep going with this blog, and the truth is that it’s a ton of fun. While I wish more people commented instead of sending me email, that’s cool because they are still reaching out and communicating. So a general consensus report on if it will bother you as a reader if we go with a few ads and ad some color.

PS — I don’t know if you like the green or blue, but I love it. Eventually I’ll probably get a new layout, but for right now, I have these moments where I want to make love to the cutline theme. Call me crazy.

Utilizing GumTree A Little Further

GumtreeI am just going to throw this out there and you can roll with it how you will. This tactic is not secret although I have yet to see it on Gumtree. I am not doing this tactic currently as I have piles of other things going on and I sold the 3 sites I used this with :), but I felt like sharing and it’s easy to implement, and oh yea–> It’s free. I been posting some random jargon lately, so here’s a “Cash Tactic”.

I really don’t know how many of these sites you could turn out, but I imagine this is going to freakin explode. Remember, I am doing this VERY COUNTRY specific so don’t doze off or you will SEVERLY screw yourself. We are promoting on Gumtree so make sure to sign up for Ebay Co Uk and Amazon Co Uk as well.

Now a quick note before we get going. I am not going tutor you in how to place a classified nor will I tutor you on how to build traffic. Take this as it is, and I bet after you see it, your niche sites will be a little more *fun* for users than general text based blogs and sites. :) Also, the cool thing about this is that a lot of your post titles will show up with the youtube video icon in Google so that just makes you stand out even more. Whether your 1 or 10 on the first page, you stand out a bit more than the rest.

Alright here we go. I will be blunt, fast and furious, so remember to print.

2CO Launches Their Affiliate Beta

About damn time! I’ve been waiting for solid alternatives to Clickbank and Paypal. As most of you know I own membership sites thru both Paydotcom and Clickbank so I am readily pumped about another affiliate processor.

Here is more specific info about new affiliate program…

For Suppliers: Why 2CO’s program is different
With most affiliate programs, you have to pay a portion of the commission to the program, or a monthly listing fee, which leaves less money for the actual affiliate. 2CO never charges more for an affiliate transaction or for enrolling your products.
Also, 2CO takes care of managing the payment to all of your affiliates. You never have to worry about keeping track of how much you owe anyone.

For Affiliates: Why 2CO’s program is different
With most affiliate programs, you just receive banner ads to add to your website, cluttering it up & making it look unprofessional, even unsafe. And when your customers click on these ads, you have no way of controlling whether they arrive at a page of useful information related to your site, or a random confusing 3rd party page.
With 2CO’s affiliate program, you receive actual product information (even images, when available) to add to your website. Your site can be a targeted set of tightly related products, and look very professional, and because you are handing off directly to 2CO, its also extremely secure and never confusing to the end customer.

There’s an ongoing discussion going on here if anyone is interested.

Outsourcing Too Soon Can Be A Costly Mistake

Yea, I said it. From the guy who absolutely hates doing the little things himself and hires it out 90% of the time, I want to tell you why outsourcing too soon in your Internet Marketing Career can be a costly mistake.

First off their are so many variables to consider. It’s not as easy as it was a year ago. The Internet has sustained large growth and more importantly the amount of people coming online wanting to work from home and reading all that bullshit about how they can get rich overnight has seriously corrupted their minds. Please if we can get rich overnight then there would not be haters, bashers and skeptics. While after some education and fine tuning your business you can turn nights into what some would consider riches, it’s impossible to just come online and make the dollars fall down your computer screen like some shitty christmas like myspace layout. It just doesn’t happen, so face the reality.

So without the blabbling, point #1 is try to use your head a little.

Another point is the amount of people that will just completely screw you over. Oh yea, it’s damn near a phenomenon on the amount of people that will screw you over at places such as Elance and Scriptlance. What’s even worse is this shit is starting to spill over into forums now. Take the Warrior Forum for instance, not a month passes by that a rant thread pops up about someone screwing someone else over. You have to get personal with your writers, programmers, whatever.

24 Bug Is A Nasty One

I will tell ya, I haven’t felt that terrible in a very long time. I am talking about yesterday. 2 nights ago I was up until about 4 am working on a project when I decided to get up and get me a glass of water. By the time I walked downstairs, I had a pounding headache. I took an aspirin and grabbed a bottle of war, a glass with some ice and I was back up to the office. The moment I walked into the offfice and shut the door, I felt like I just had done 15 kegstands. I was out of breathe, my head was pounding and worst of all I was dizzy as hell.

Right then and there I close up my project, shut the door and went downstairs to go to sleep. (L) woke me up the next morning about 10 o’clock. The moment I opened my eyes, I already knew I was in for a long day. You know that catlike morning stretch you do to get all your joints straight? I could not perform this action. It hurt just too much. Not only could I not stretch out because of how much it hurt the joints, whenever I bent my legs, my damn hamstrings and calves would start cramping up. WTF is that all about?

Oh, but it gets worse…

I got out of bed and went right to the kitchen for some meds. As most of you know I already suffer from a sleep deficit disorder so part of the problem could have very well been this. Anyway, popped some aspirin and got another glass of ice water. I sat down at the kitchen table. By this time I notice that the dizziness was accompanied by a queezy feeling. You know the one where you feel hunger, the stomach growls but you dare not eat?
