When it comes to making your information viral, you need to absolutely know what is going on. I cannot stress how important it is to monitor your information your going to present. If your passing on information with the monetization purpose of gaining on the back-end (links within your information), then here are a few things, you need to keep in mind.

First off, I am guilty of this myself. It was not until the other day that I was reading the “Social Media Daily” by a WELL-KNOWN Internet Marketer that I realized…or actually remembered, that I had just created one of the greatest mistakes you can do with viral information. Once your information hits the net and you start sharing it, there is no turning back. Once your information takes off, if you have not “perfected” the links inside the book, or anything else you wanted in place, it is just too late.

Here’s the mistake:

While reading the Social Media Daily which is a free report meant to go viral, I saw the two biggest mistakes you could make in a viral report. First off, I saw that that all the software’s recommended in the report were all links from the same domain. I cannot stress the importance of you not doing that. Right off the bat, your readers are going to see when they hover over your link in the PDF report, that all the things you recommend are pointing to folders or sub-domains from the same site. While you might think your in the clear because you have your affiliate link redirecting, I can assure you that your not. If you have all the affiliate links situated on one domain, your screwed, plain and simple. You need a domain for each, or else people get the idea your links are for profit, and that is a money killer for you.

It was not too long ago when I first started noticing certain terms in the Google Search Engine that were highly competitive were all containing front page results from the site 43Things.com. Terms such as “make money” and  ”start my own business” are just a couple. By surfing to their homepage and analyzing the tags being used by members, you can easily take those keyword phrases and plug them into your keyword research tool to find the amount of searches being made. You can also use them to analyze the amount of competition in Google.

It was not to long after I started noticing this, that I found out I was not the only one seeing it as well. A Warrior forum member posted a WSO (warrior special offer) and it brought a lot of marketers into the power that 43 Things can harness in the Search Engines. When the infiltration of marketers made their way to 43 things, they were quick to find out that it was not at all what they thought it to be. Do you know why? It’s because 43 things does INDEED harness great power in the Google Search Engine and marketers could not be open minded enough to look past the dollar signs and put a little
effort into it. Now, I hate seeing someone struggle, but watching the marketers attempt to “market” ( or as I like to call it…lazy ass spamming) I sat back every day and laughed. Let me enlighten on you on how to market effectively on 43 Things.

Niche Marketers all over are always wanting to know what it takes to become the “Big Gun” within their respective niches. What exactly does it take to become a success, repeat it many times over and ultimately become the #1 authoritative figure that people will turn to within the niche?

While I do not claim to be an expert on the characteristics and techniques of specific Niche Marketing, I do however have my foot in the door, without much competition in a variety of niches. Allow me to share some points, tactics and strategy I develop and use when I decide it is time to get “seriously” involved with a niche.

1. Keyword research is going to have go a long way. Analyzing searches to results to optimized competition is an absolute must if you want to compete in the Search Engines. Researching your keywords will also lead you right to your competition in the engines. This will give you a huge advantage. If you already know how much competition your facing, and you also know that with your strategies your going to be able to rank against these sites, then you have just put yourself into a huge “leveraging” situation. Whether these other sites want to link with you or not, really does not matter to you, but you could let them know that it is in their “best interest” to do so. While you may not know their SEO skills, you do know yours. Confidence can turn your competitors into your partners or even friends.

2. Your going to have to come to the realization that you NEED to know your target market inside and out. Your going to have to know their needs and wants faster than your competitors. This also gives you an added advantage, as you will be the first to present a product that could provide solutions to the problems associated in the niche.

It was bound to happen sooner or later. I have been preaching that video marketing was going to take over, and it seems that time is upon us. Ever since the introduction of Universal Search in Google the SERP’s have been starting to flood with videos optimized with keyword dense title tags. I have done this myself first hand with my Yahoo Answers video climbing to #1 in Google Video and then with another 3-4 keyword phrases in the top 3 in Google with a forum postingand a blog posting. Talk about dominance ehh? This all occurred within 48 hours as well:).

The new wave of manipulating Search Results is upon us. In every way possible “Big Daddy” tries to optimize a better user experience for its beloved searchers. In every way, people (especially marketers and SEO monetizers) take everything Google throws at us, and turns it around on them. It is almost like it is becoming easier every time Google goes thru one of these changes.

Google introduced Universal Search to give everyone a more comprehensive way of how we search and view information throughout their Search Engine. What really gets me is that they do these things and it is almost like they do not bear SEO monetizers in mind. They are far behind in that aspect and here’s why:

• They always aim to provide a better user experience, but in doing so they allow new ways for SE manipulation
• By the time they catch on and start cleaning it up, we already figured out “how” they are going to do it, and this allows us to “adapt” to the change and live on

I almost forgot how easy this tactic was, until I checked my Adsense account this morning and was looking over a few of my Adsense made Myspace Resource Sites. I distinctly remember a very cool tactic I used on these sites. It involved sites such as Photobucket and Imageshack. These sites allow you to host images on their servers. After you uploaded your pictures they then give you a set of links to use about on the net. Now these images would only show up as thumbnails, but as soon as someone clicks the image, they go directly to the site where it is hosted and are presented with the original picture. You are granted with an impression each time someone does this. Now, there are many hosting sites out there that do this, and they have to, so that they may compete with the likes of Photobucket and ImageShack.

Sounds simple right? Of course it does. As long as you have pictures to upload then the possibility of making money with this is right in front of you. Of course, your going to need heaps of traffic, because the certain types of payment ratios are likely to be really low. Being the sneak that I am, allow me to present to you, how to accomplish this very easily.

It was just the other day I was at John Reese’s Blog and saw his post of his photograph that made it to the homepage of Digg. It has been said many times that a front page posting on Digg can crash even some of the best servers on the Net. The amount of traffic Social Media sites can bring you is phenomenal. It use to be that a well written and controversial story would get you there. These days though, it is much, much easier than that. It could be the dumbest of photographs or videos and you could literally have more traffic to your site than you thought possible. All it takes is a little Social Bookmarking.

I caught a post over on Maki’s blog DoshDosh the other day about a company called MegaVideo breaking into the online video marketing spotlight. It seems that Megavideo’s business model revolves around the use of Adbrite ads in their videos. It seems that MegaVideo is in direct competition and using a marketing strategy to deploy current Youtube users away from there. It has been speculated that they are also targeting other video sharing site users as well. The major flaw I see so far, is that after discovering the DoshDosh post, I went and spent time on MegaVideo, and sure enough, I saw a ton of Youtube scraped videos. Maki had hinted at this being a potential flaw on MegaVideo, and I assure he is 100% correct. The allure of making a few bucks by scraping videos and re-uploading them is embedded heavily in the minds of video marketers. Even a 14 year old kid can scrape videos and re-upload them as their very own.

MegaVideo has had made it very easy for video marketers to join and actually very hard to turn down. According to their Rewards’ Program your allowed to display Adbrite Ads within your videos and your entitled to keep 100% of the revenue your videos bring in. Now making money with Adbrite Ads is just one way you can earn money with them. You can also earn certain amounts within the guidelines of whatever they have set forth in their Rewards Program.

Here is a very touchy subject that is liable to piss a lot of people off. Before you decide to burn me at the stake, please read the whole article. It is in my opinion that this will be a general lesson that you will get more out of than you think.

There are truly a lot of people working their tails off online. Whether it is to provide a supplemental income or chase the elusive dream of quitting their job or gaining financial independence. There are literally thousands of new online entrepreneurs coming to the web day in and day out plugging into the “Make Money Online” genre.

I will tell you right now, that this is not for everyone. I have had personal acquaintances and even friends from all over the world that have gone down in a “blaze of glory”. Your going to have to face a harsh reality from the get-go that it is most likely (not all the time) going to be a very tough road, for a very long time. Now, I did not say all because I have personally helped people make money online overnight. Some of my fellow RJ members can attest for that. For the most part though, it is a long and daunting headache for awhile.

Realizing when to stop is something you have to train yourself on. Here are some identifying factors that would be included in knowing when it is time to stop:

• When you cannot get traffic, therefore no money is coming in.

Well That was pretty basic right? Of course,  because it is going to take a lot of traffic to turn people into buyers. Marketing is always a numbers game. Even being a webmaster is a numbers game. The more traffic you have, the more likely your going to get a conversion.

Today was one of those days where everything clicked.  After getting thru my initial stats run I found that everything was running great. I had an afternoon off for the most part. It did not look like their would be much monitoring today. So, I took the afternoon and put together another free guide located in my reports section.

The report basically covers a lot of ground on why most article marketers are not successful and it includes aggressive back-linking strategies I use to get my articles, ads and lenses ranking high in the search engines. Initially, I was using other tools but have had to adapt to the changes put in place by some of the directories.
