Ruck,

With your height I wouldn't worry about how much weight I was carrying - that is as long as you're eating right.

I would get to a doctor quick about that acid reflux and sleep apnea. Don't play around with sleep apnea - I had symptoms of it for over a year, but it took me falling asleep (suddenly) while driving my car (during the daytime) to take action. So get yourslef to a sleep specialist, get the study and get the dx confirmed. If you have obstructtive sleep apnea, you might have to sleep w/ a CPAP. It takes some getting used to, but you'll feel a whole lot better and your wife will rest better as well.

Er...Let's go into the "you're well known" discussion.

I'd pick banking over fame any day.

Affiliate Summit West is where it's at.
Come down to Vegas in Feb if you're able to.
It's always a good time for networking and you know as well as I do that getting ONE solid income growing tip makes the entire trip pay for itself, right?

HA,

Well my friend you have a large advantage over me. Your well known and at least you take these trips. The furthest I get away from the house is about 25 miles when we go shop. And if I can help, it ain't much.

I was seriously starting to think about attending some of these events just to get the scoop on the inside and have the chance to listen to the best and would be great for me to have an excuse to maybe take the wife and kids on a trip if it would work out. Plus I need it :)

DO IT!

I put on about 5lbs on my recent Vegas trip.

I'm 5'10" and 185lbs.
The other day when I was working on something at 2am, I felt like my heart was being squeezed and was thinking "Geez.....this will suck if it's a heart attack..."

What a trip this lifestyle is, eh?

And here I always imagined you as skinny!

I get a friend who lives by the Mexican border to send me Phentermine and then I religiously read the www.phenpro.com forums. Have lost 25 this year (and I wasn't fat to begin with!)

WOO HOO!
Ruck, I love reading your posts over at BHW! good luck with your dieting!

Ruck,

Sleep Apnia is no joke. If you think that is what part of your problem is then you should really seek proffessional help.

With sleep apnia, in more serious cases you stop breathing all together.

If you arent sure if this is what is happening.
Waking up in shear fright is a good sign of it.
You stop breathing, your mind goes WTF and your mind forces you awake the best way it knows how, and that is by giving you the "fright" emotion with or with out a breif frightning dream.

I was diagnosed with it almost a year ago.
And had to go in for the over night studies.

On the other hand of your Wieght.
I know the feeling as well.
Allthough the heaviest I have ever been was 187 lbs, at 5ft 9in.
Some would say (even the military) that I was over wieght.

But I felt like a monster, 187 lbs and still slid into 30in waist wranglers :)

Body fat is what you should realy be concerned about if you have been working out pretty hardy.

Crap, sorry bout the long post.

Man listen. Im not sure what the problem is with turning fat into muscl. If you want to slim down kick up the cardio but keep doing training. Befreo your workout start out running a mile on the tread mill. It take like 12 minutes for me because I run it on my toes for Thai Boxing. Its a good warm then you do your wokout. On your off days run a mile for fun then go home. 30 miles in 30 days. Thats a lot of miles. I was gettin pretty heavy back in 92 before I wnt into the Army. How did they kill my fat? They Ran it off of me and after just 8 weeks I was the skinniest I had been in my entire life. Not only that but you feel good too. Then after 30 days you will bumb that mile to two miles. Its like building an internet business. It takes time to do it right. Diets Do work, but in the words of my thai boxing instructor, "Man if you keep running and working out your body will be forced to keep up. Soon you'll be able to eat whatever you want and itll shed off your body."

However you should still stick to Natural foods without additives. Whole foods are the best, rice, potatoes, chicken, vegatables, fruit -all normal Not in a box or with shit added to it - make it yourself.

I was doing hard protein diets for a while and those worked great to lean me out, but then when I would quit the pounds would come back fast.

If you're gonna be a gym rat then sure, stick to the diets, but you're a busy guy. Just take time out of your day and start adding that run mile to your day. Remember when you do, its NOT a race! Do it at your own pace. Don't compete with the other guys who are on the treadmill just keep a nice steady pace. You got to build up your lungs and your heart muscle first.

Like Building up an engine block! The same with muscle. So Bigger heart muscle, stronger lungs and more muscle = burning more calories naturally and using more fuel i.e. fat has to be used my the body to replace that energy = you start leaning down.

Ruck, I know what it's like.

I used to cycle 5 miles to work every day, back when I had a real job. Even in winter, wearing a balaclava with ice on my glasses. I never felt so fucking alive.

Now I wheeze going up and down stairs. I have to force myself to go out for a walk every day. It's hard, working from home.
