Good article, you really gave us some great tips on aggressive article marketing. I first started bum marketing and tried the whole affiliate links in my articles, I don't even think I ever made a sale by that method. I guess I missed out on that era, but now I realize aggressive article marketing could really help promote my sites and brand.

Has anything happened with this program? Looks like there hasn't been a post in quite awhile and I was wondering what ever became of it.

I have a puppy for sale site that lets puppy breeders advertise for free, and I just look at adsense stuff right now for income, and I had a couple of affiliate progs that brought a little bit in, but nothing major.

I was thinking about adding some sort of feed, jus to have the front page change a little - what do you think?

Once again Young Ruck, this post is not only "muy buena", it is a bowling ball that hits the strike zone of my current curiosity about content.

While I am not an adequate purveyor of the written word, I did create my own advertising copy resulting in some modest monetary conversion, and have crafted articles that are somewhat comprehensible to the masses.

However, while I do enjoy "penning the prose", it is time consuming and I do, at times, tire from the tedium it represents.

I am also in agreement that article writing in the pursuit of selling a particular affiliate product can be a horrible waste of time and resources.

With that thought in mind, I was hoping to find an additional way to add content, so that my site can become a "faster pussycat" in terms of page indexing, as well as adding additional revenue.

I have been doing some research into some off the shelf products that could help expedite the "mashup" for people like myself who have limited programming and technical skills.

The tools I found, might be able to help some people reading this post, who might want to get on the fast track of profitable content without hiring a programmer through Rent Coder, or other "programming for hire" services.

First..

There is a program out there called Web Merge from Fourthworld.com. Fourthworld's claim to fame is..

"Publish any database or spreadsheet with templates from any HTML editor on any Web server. And then automate it. Yep. It's that easy."

While this is not necessarily a mashup script, it can help in terms of anyone thinking about making a sort of "Madlib" site.

Take a huge amount of data, turn it into html, throw it in a template, "mash it up" with other data bases to make it unique, season to taste with your favorite affiliate or PPC program, upload, and you are good to go. Rinse, and repeat..

Second..

There is a script that I just bought last night that I have yet to to try. It is similar to the mashup script that Mark from 45n5 offers for free.

But, this script has a desktop script installer
which might make it easier to install..

The script is called "You Tube Site Video Creator In A Box"..This is one of those "master resell rights" products and it is available at 7dollarbooks.com for, well, about 7 bucks.

You can also add Amazon, Ebay, and Adsense too it (You Tube Site Video Creator In A Box)as well. Templates are not that pretty, but, that is to be expected for just seven dollars.

In addition, there are off the shelf scripts that add Ebay affiliate auctions to your website or blog. Some will allow you to mash it up with PPC, and but I don't think any of these scripts will
let you features YouTube videos.

1) Easynichestore.com - 45.00

2) Buildanichestore.com - 97.00 - Unlimited Site License. Good member supported forum..

3) PhpBay Pro. From WiredStudios.com - enables web publishers to quickly and easily add keyword rich Ebay auction listings to your Wordpress or php driven site to generate serious affiliate revenue in a matter of minutes!

4)My-Estore.net - 95.00

Also, if you some of you out there in non-
technical land have problems with installing scripts, then these two services should be able to help with installation.

Both services are on the high side. About 50 to 80 dollars per install, depending on the script.

1) Icoder.com

2) Inmarkon.com

On the cheaper side of the installation isle, there is always Digital Point Forums (forums.digitalpoint.com).

Search for these two user names for a price tag that is super inexpensive, or if you want to contrast and compare, just search the forum for "script installation services".

Both of the below mentioned forum members offer installation services as low as eight dollars per install, depending on what you want done..

1) Jammy69

2) StormForum

So here endth my "mashup rant". A word of caution before you jump into anything I have presented here.

I have not solicited the services of any script installers. I have these installation services on file, in case I have difficulty with a particular script.

I do not have any "dirt or flowers" in terms of their customer service, or the quality of their work. Perform your own "due diligence" before you choose to buy any program, or hire anyone to install a script.

I provide this only as a means of educating those who might not be able to afford the services of a programmer, and to make people aware that there are "off the shelf" options that do not require the skills of a code monkey to develop a script, or make a unique database.

And by code monkey, I mean that as a term of endearment, not as a means of ridicule. I admire just about anyone who has such a skill.

So please, any programmer reading this, hold off on the hate mail!

In addition, even thought I own it, I have not yet uploaded the "You Tube Site Video Creator In A Box" that has the desktop installation feature to my site as of late. Therefore, I cannot testify to it's "affiliate mashup" greatness or lack there of..

Build A Niche store has been used by my web master, and he is pleased with the ease of the setup.

They also have a great support forum. Other than that, I cannot comment on the efficacy of any other product or service

If you use an installation service and depending on what "off the shelf" script you use, or service you employ, it can run you anywhere from 100 to 200 max to get set up.

Not all that expensive considering the possible profit potential. I hope it helps those who are looking for a way to add more content, faster, at a reasonable cost.

Also, Young Ruck, if any of the information I present in this post is a violation of your terms or conditions regarding site links, or whatever, then edit accordingly, or trash is altogether.

I do not mean to "irritate, just educate!"

One question for you Ruck..

When you do upload affiliate feeds with so many pages, and if your site, is say, a new one, do you worry about getting banned by Google?

Just wondering if the Google Gods look at affiliate feeds, or databases as SE spam?

I have been told that no, they don't. Just wondering what your overall experience has been..

Thanks for letting me rant...

How on earth do I make these sites with thousands of pages... I need to see that. So article marketing is out, Ruck?

And P.S. - Why can't I post on the forum? Yes, I registered and confirmed.

HugePedlar -

If you still need help with multiple keywords, post a message on the forum and I will help you out.

I currently finished a script for my website that takes "multiple keywords" and turns them into "multiple-keywords.html"

Woot, I've almost done it. You can now type in smartphonereview.co.uk/SOMEPHONE and it'll customise the resulting page. Unfortunately I haven't figured out how to do the URL with multiple words yet, which is frustrating. Still not too bad for a couple of hours work.

Might see if I can clean up the script and publish it for others to use.

I'm looking forward to your multiple backlinks post. Should be very useful.

Not bad at all Pedlar! You guys are really starting to kill me. Got a bunch of enthusiasts here! Seriously, as soon as I type something everyone starts implementing and that is a good thing.

I will get something out there for you to read about on how to do things a little different, but also how to gain massive backlinks to your inner pages. This may or may not blow you away, but it seriously takes like an hour to get up and running and have links flowing into your site naturally each day.

I be willing to give out the script as well, but I don't offer support for it. You shouldn't need it though, I been using it off and on for about a year and never once had a problem.

Hi Ruck

I took this mashup idea and played with it after noticing one of my CPAs I'm running elsewhere gives me £10.50 for each sign up - the user installs software on their smartphone and gets paid £5/month for the privilege. Quite an outstanding deal both ways, really.

Anyway, so I made a site called smartphonereview.co.uk this afternoon. Took me about an hour to find a css template, grab an rss of googlenews, rss of ebay aff products, get an adsense youtube feed and some adsense text ads.

Now if I was a programmer it would be easy enough to make a separate page for each brand of phone with its own rss feeds - I can see how to do it so hopefully I'm clever enough to not mess it up!

All that's left now is to market it I guess. Not a bad idea for an hour's labour. Thanks for the prompt!

I have a mashup site i put up but since i dont know how to code, there are things i wanna do to it that i need a programmer for. im sure ill learn something new with your next posts in this thread so ill wait and see what other goodies you got comin out.

before you know it man, you will have the next "must have access to" forum on the net...and its not even out yet.

@ Pete...

I have heard that this script is either A> hard to get rolling or B-buggy after setup. I could be wrong. I have it on my hard drive but I have yet to try it out.

What I am talking about and I should just go ahead and do a full blown post over it is going to Programmable Web and looking at all the types of Mashups are doing.

You will be overwhelmed when you get there. The idea is really to be yourself with these types of scripts. Incorporating a simple news feed if you can from somewhere is a great way to keep these blogs from getting hit with the Dupe penalty...which I can safely say is something I have never experienced either.

But a mashup is taking two different sources (or more) and combining them to make yourself unique. In the case of us marketers, we would want that to be on a mass page and monetization level and that is the idea I want to present to everyone.

This really works well?

thanks,
