Zero To Hero Series – Video Followup And Walk Thru
- 12 Comment
Here are some promised resources that I stayed up thru the night putting together to get you started on the fast track. I apologize now if the video quality is not that great, but I have been in a rush all night. You will get the idea though as soon as you watch the vids and start your progress. First off, I would like to include some helpful links.
With my generic video and those two links you should be up and running in no time.
- Ebay Selling Formats (Classified Ads towards the bottom)
- Ebay Classified Ad Fees (make sure to read the category listings allowed!)

Hehe, I can see about a dozen of these classifieds already on ebay with like 29 days to go. I’ve tried to differentiate mine by personalising it with my ‘free online moneymaking course’ and pointing out my +ve feedback etc.
Fingers crossed!

Hey hugepedlar,
Although Ruck explained everything very well here, you do not need to follow exactly the step by step system given by him. Imagine that there are several hundreds of people reading exactly what you read, and doing exactly what you did. You can add your own tweak to the system in order to increase the profit.
I have also purchased the MRR for the report and i think it is a goldmine the report idea, and the email list building tips. But i am not going to follow the classified ads system, i have my own system put in place. Internet Marketing is so much fun cause you can take an idea and tweak it to fit your needs.December 7th, 2007 at 4:12 pm -

Oh I totally agree. That’s why I pointed it out, in case everyone tries exactly the same method and saturates, at least temporarily, their niche.
If everyone does go the ebay classified route then it’s important to add or at least imply some value of your own that others don’t have.

Thanks for the tutorials, Ruck! I was crushed when I thought I had “missed the boat”! I am going to go through these this weekend, and like Nick & Hugepedlar suggested…suggested, try to put my own spin on it!
Thanks again!

Ok my ebay classified is set up. I guess I’ll show it off so if anyone has any suggestions. This is my first ‘test niche’ so I plan on doing some more on other niches besides making money for beginners.

Also ruck I was wondering where you found the template for your landing page. I want to find one similar to it so I am not copying yours.

Well,
If Renyu would stop by the blog and comment he will drop you a link. Renyu has an amazing assortment of templates that are just right for Squeezes and Salesletters, and a large assortment of nice graphics as well.

Here’s a thought regarding the opt in rate.
Someone posted on another post that the confirmation or optin rate was not good.
Considering this customer list is not likely as SAVY as say an IM based list, because these are newbies…
You might get a better optin rate by having your own thank you page after they’ve opted in instead of the generic aweber.
By giving a landing page with a brief instruction on what to do to discover what’s in the report..remember hit them while they’re hot and wanting it..
You could likely see your opt in rate improve.
For someone who does not have a paid hosting account they could just them them to a blog post or a free website or even to googles new home pages.
Google now has free webpages folks
So set up a thank you with instructions to GO NOW and confirm to get that report delivered or they’ll never get these money making secrets and see their bank account overflowing before Christmas!
Set up that page and then go to the settings in aweber of..
Form Details enter the url in “Thank you page” area.
Ruck you’re the leader here so just thought I’d give some extra help especially for those with some experience who wont get overwhlemed.
know this can help and as ADD as everyone is this will likely help get the optin rate up.
Excellent post Ruck
I’ll be working right along as this is some new ideas even for me.

Crap, I messed up. Going on little sleep and in my dizzyness I gave wrong info above.
I was watching you cover the confirmation thinking you were covering the webform html page.
My bad..Possibly delete so does not confuse anyone. I’m gonna hit the sack very soon that’s for sure. LOL

Jim,
thank you very much. I was just talking to Geese tonight about this. I told him the exact thing was that I have experimented both ways and while the thank you page does improve conversions for optins I have found it to be a little overwhelming on their part as well.
But you pointing this out is great because now I won’t have to blog it :),
Also the free thank you page tip is golden for everyone not ready to do their own squeeze.
Thanks Jim for a brilliant comment!December 11th, 2007 at 2:45 am -

The ad shown on your ebay video. is that the exact one you use or just an example?

Just an example. I continually tweak my copy almost everyday on my ebay ads. Geese can tell you how important this is. He doubled his optins today by making a tweak last night :)…
