ahh… tell me about it… ever since i have started getting paid working on the internet, i am having a hard time leaving my computer… it is just so much fun especially when knocking out somebody in the SERP’s …lol..

also, the socializing problem… i tend to get a lot of questions like “teach me man!” “dude u just watch movies all day.. where’s the money coming from??” and blah blah…

i guess that’s pretty much most netpreneurs life wen it comes to being a part of a small community.. hehe..

good luck to you mate… i’ve learned many things after i found your blog… hope you do great in your project…

I really like your response to the “Are you trying to make money online” question. It made me think of that thing Yoda said “do or do not; there is no try”.

LOL …the socializing thing must be some kinda contagious IM disease. I really don’t talk to people about my IM projects. Had a slip of the tongue one day about making money on eBay and got a lot of “third eye” looks. Now I keep my mouth shut.

Ruck you’ve got a unique, personal style that comes accross well in writing. That’s a gift. A lot of cats want to do that, but can’t. Keep up the good work . See ya on the BlackHat forum.

Ha,

Thanks for the compliment. My writing style is a reflection of my personality. I get asked about Ebay quite a bit myself. Although I just recently started with them, I have tried explaining PPC and SEO in the real world, and I was promptly told to shut my mouth and drink more beer.

As interested as some people may seem, they surely turn their attention elsewhere as soon as I start yabbering on about it.

Sometimes I do it on purpose, just to get a look at their face…It’s hilarious.

I always love to come to your blog and see what you are up to. You share so much of yourself here it is enlightening. I could not agree more about loving what you are doing (even with the frustrations). I was already a hermit prior to starting an online business. I feel more connected to people online than offline. As sad as that may sound, it is my reality. Even if I were to become super wealthy I would still remain reclusive.

Totally sympathise with the hermit situation.

I am fortunate enough to be able to make a living from internet marketing, but since having left my 9-5 job 6 months ago, I have barely left the house.

As soon as I get up, I power my computer up and its straight to work. When my girlfriend gets home, she will want to do something ‘fun’, but usually the day ends with me sneaking back onto the computer for a few more hours. Sad.

LOL…

In a way sad, in a way no. I am always slacking on time with the MS. but who knows how long a good thing lasts right?

We are all risk takers. We would have to be trying to get an upperhand in this business or even living the good life after we figured a few things out. With risk comes reward, but it’s still a risk.
