What I try to do is promote Pen B and when I make a profit I e-invest it to test my skills for selling pen C.

But in my opinion Pen C is the million dollar orange which is hard to sell

I would like to comment on this. IDK I think you have a point but I also think with how tight everyone’s money is today that people just aren’t going to be buying Pen B. I think email submits, zip code submits, and stuff like 1 and 2 page forms will be better for the time being than trying to sell a 20.00 item.
I just tihnk about myself as a web surfer. I am not spending nearly as much online as I used to but I still fill out email forms on a regular basis. People will contimue to do this.
I do think you should have a balance. That is what I do. I balance cheap zip code submits, with larger ticket items but my main stay in cheap 1.00 and even less than 1.00 leads and hope they build up.

That’s not true – cheap commodity articles sell like hot cakes and they’re always in demand.

But if you want to get rich in some decent time the choice has to be Pen B because it is easier to sell than Pen C and pays more than Pen A. Its like best of both worlds.

If you’re familiar with pricing models, you’d know that Pen C wouldn’t cost $500 if there was a monthly rebill on it.

It’s be a S&H trial with the rebill in fine print and about $20-50 comm payout, not $500.

What if Pen C is being pimped out by hundreds of affiliate wannabes with domains like PenCWeightLoss.com or PenCWeightBlog.com or PenCDiet.com and Pen C has ridiculous rebill charges and customer service for Pen C doesn’t exist?

Do you still go for Pen C?

Selling “pen B” is my choice. You can’t make much of money with pen A as well as you can’t sell much of pens C to become rich

Of course, if we can do well with pen C, it’s perfect :)

Good analogy. I’ve always been intrigued by the zip/email submit offers and how prevalent they are on networks, but they’ve never seemed to be worth the time it takes to promote them. If you’re able to get the sort of volume that it takes to make a decent amount of money on those offers, you might as well go for something with a ~$15+ payout.

Personally, I’ve had the most success with high CPA pen C offers. You generally have a better margin to work with on these offers. Don’t forget, also, if you’re a more advanced affiliate, the higher payout offers are easier to arbitrage once you get some decent volume.
