Good day! I have a cousin who has a credit card, she used that for a couple of years already. When she decided to resign from her job she wants to stop using her credit card. She told me she already filed to cancel her card. And just last year she found out that her credit card has a balance of a very big amount. She was confused why it happened that she did not used it anyway? How to cancel it?

Their customer service is next to nil and they're 99% pro-buyer.

Go check out the other blogs, you'll hear stories of stuff being sold, domains being transferred and the "buyer" raising it up in the payment dispute.

The dumbest thing that's happened to me is some weird girl filed a dispute saying I didn't give the PDF password to some ebook she bought from me.

I CCed customer service and mailed her saying.
"Hey honey, none of my products are password protected"

She didn't reply back...

Yea man,

I been frozen before. The withdrawal limit at the time was $10,000 and I was doing multiple withdrawals at the end of the month. Paypal called my cellphone listed on my account, but being the idiot, I didn't answer it.

It took me 15 days to finally get unfrozen. The lady I spoke with said they only call once on suspicious activity. I wanted to scream as the money was going to my bank account that is linked but better safe than sorry I guess.

I think the one phone call is a little weak though. LOL, c'mon one phone call?

If you're doing serious volume ( >$50,000 a month), a merchant account will give you more options than paypal though.

I've heard countless stories about paypal accounts being frozen while being investigated for possibly pyramid scheme (esp if you got a big load of cash flowing in during a product launch).

That would seriously mess up your cashflow...

The way I see it, if a customer is really motivated to get your product, they'd either find a way to, or mail you for alternative payment options...
