2Checkout Now Supports Paypal Express Checkout

2COGood news has arrived! In my earlier post at the end of October “2CO Launches Their Affiliate Beta” I mentioned that 2Checkout¬†was going to support Paypal Express Checkout. Well, after cruising around and searching for more information I came across this. It is been written in public that 2Checkout now supports Paypal. This is great news for people who live in countries where they cannot use Paypal or Clickbank.

The PayPal payment option will be available for all non-recurring orders in the following currencies:

  • Australian Dollar (AUD)
  • Canadian Dollar (CAD)
  • Euro (EUR)
  • British Pound (GBP)
  • Japanese Yen (JPY)
  • U.S. Dollar (USD)

If you haven’t already you should check out Mohsin’s blog post “No Paypal, No Clickbank, No Problem“. Mohsin did some extensive testing where he stated the following:

My own tests has proved that if i did not offer Paypal at my salespage as payment processing source, I lost more than 60 percent sales. I have offered both and tested 2CO and Paypal, and even i offered $1 discount to use 2CO, more than 50% sales come through Paypal. That is Paypal is a MUST HAVE at your Sales letter online.

He goes on to state that it was not easy for him as he was unable to have a Paypal account. He’s got some great screenshots inside of 2Checkout as it is still in beta and not open to the public yet, but Mohsin was invited it looks like, so he was kind enough to provide an early preview and inside look. Thanks Mohsin!

If you’re doing serious volume ( >$50,000 a month), a merchant account will give you more options than paypal though.

I’ve heard countless stories about paypal accounts being frozen while being investigated for possibly pyramid scheme (esp if you got a big load of cash flowing in during a product launch).

That would seriously mess up your cashflow…

The way I see it, if a customer is really motivated to get your product, they’d either find a way to, or mail you for alternative payment options…

Yea man,

I been frozen before. The withdrawal limit at the time was $10,000 and I was doing multiple withdrawals at the end of the month. Paypal called my cellphone listed on my account, but being the idiot, I didn’t answer it.

It took me 15 days to finally get unfrozen. The lady I spoke with said they only call once on suspicious activity. I wanted to scream as the money was going to my bank account that is linked but better safe than sorry I guess.

I think the one phone call is a little weak though. LOL, c’mon one phone call?

Their customer service is next to nil and they’re 99% pro-buyer.

Go check out the other blogs, you’ll hear stories of stuff being sold, domains being transferred and the “buyer” raising it up in the payment dispute.

The dumbest thing that’s happened to me is some weird girl filed a dispute saying I didn’t give the PDF password to some ebook she bought from me.

I CCed customer service and mailed her saying.
“Hey honey, none of my products are password protected”

She didn’t reply back…

Good day! I have a cousin who has a credit card, she used that for a couple of years already. When she decided to resign from her job she wants to stop using her credit card. She told me she already filed to cancel her card. And just last year she found out that her credit card has a balance of a very big amount. She was confused why it happened that she did not used it anyway? How to cancel it?
