I don't know how long the PageRank system will be on top. IZEA launched the RealRank thing that probably will fight with PR to see which one stands. Of course, PR is on Google's side, but the protests against changes on PR are getting louder lately...

I am not really into this, and i do not have a blog about im (yet), but 200 feedburner subscribers and 400$ per month i think i can easily get for a website with only one month of promotion. Why the hell did someone pay 6000$ for something that he could built it himself so easily?
I have never heard about that blog before, and i will probably never will from now on, but i am amazed to hear about this purchase.
Not to mention that probably a lot of readers will leave the blog, now that the real owner has sold it. It is a special relationship between the blogger and his readers.
For instance if you sell your blog, Ruck, i won't come to visit it anymore for sure, probably just occasionally for curiosity, but perhaps never a loyal reader.
I am curious what will become the fingers blog in the future.

Yea, but that guy FAILED ALOT to get there :)
Man, it's so hard for me to comprehend a $400 month blog turns over $6K. Crazy.

I'm with you on that one Andrew. While I don't think I am quite up to your ability to do such a feat just yet, I do have very big plans coming up for my entertainment blog.

I think if I broke away from the affiliate mentality and just started doing more of my own products then I would better grasp your concepts of blogging with my own product for sale.

I probably should just get off my tail and do it here. Thanks for the inspiration:)

Gratz to Matt for doing it, though building a blog is a pretty active thing to do.

Flipping is something that hasn't really interested me...If you want to make a really good property, it takes a lot out of you, and to sell it, means you'll probably get less than what you might otherwise be able to.

I'd personally put in 2-3 more months efforts into it and have it generate $5,000 a month passively.

If you leverage the brand and made a good product in the $27-47 range, $5,000 - $10,000 a month would be pretty doable...
