Some great information for new affiliate marketers. I really liked your recommended affiliate networks, this is a great resource. I personally am happiest with Clickbank, and would recommend it for those starting out or experienced marketers alike.

Choosing an affiliate network is not important for me. We can use CJ, Clickbank, Linkshare or any network you like

Re: the choice of networks, I’m increasingly promoting networks where I have a relationship with the affiliate manager.

This works whether you’re new or an experienced affiliate.

A new affiliate can get tips from a good affiliate manager, while an experienced affiliate might get offers in advance of when they’re officially launched (when the network is doing internal testing) and get super affiliate comm bumps because the manager is pushing for it.

I’ve had experiences of having affiliate managers from some of the top networks who do stuff like turn off their IM clients and i have to email them to turn them on.

When this happens, I just move on to another network.

To the above, just pick one and get started. For beginners Facebook or Myspace ads is easier to start imho. You don’t have to worry about QS and you can split test easily.

As for network, Market Leverage is definitely not in my fave list. I’ve been trying to reach my AM to set up payment and so far no reply yet. Neverblue, copeac, a4d, hydra are my fave network. They are incredibly easy to communicate with and their offers are golden.

As for #5, of you should read as much as possible. Some sources are more reliable than others but read them nonetheless; knowledge is power.

If you want a website to make money you need to know how to make the website; cut down on the cost by doing it yourself.
