You can build a lasting stream of traffic for very little money. By "lasting stream," I mean you still get constant visitors even after your campaign ends. But to achieve that you have to have the right kind of content. I don't think it will work with a sales site unless you write some extremely entertaining copy. If you have something to offer your visitors other than a page of affiliate links and adsense ads... preferably something entertaining... then stumbleupon is a gold mine.
