Ruck,
Oh how true this is!
It has taken me a long time to figure some things out and I finally feel that I have arrived.
Sadly I had to get flat broke before I found where I want to be.
I have feared article writng since I started online. I guess it was a left over fear from English classes in school.:-(
Well out of necessity I started to write articles for pay and, low and behold, I am really enjoying myself.
The pay sucks right now, but I expect it to increase thanks to you and your tactics and finally finding some of my voice.
And besides it pays!
All I can think about now is my next article and how to improve it. I have a ways to go and I by no means have arrived to where I need or want to be. But I finally found where I want to be.
I really enjoy the posts here and the inspiration.
It is obvious it comes from the heart.

Yea,

At first I feared writing as well. Now it seems like an arduous task to do myself, so I mainly hire it out. But, without the sites mentioned, I don’t know if I would be here today.

When I was writing for them, I think it really developed my senses. I was able to see which niche topics they would have me write over and then I would trace the pages my articles were on.

A whole lot to learn, but once you start to get good at it and start to enjoy it, it just becomes secondhand.

Ok, I’m victim of “It all seems too easy”… I was making a profit, decided to put in more time and revamp my site and haven’t made a sale since! Ugh! This is a touchy business, I thought updating the site would be a no brainer, but I should have been more careful about testing content and presentation, etc.

Article writing….Hated it. Couldn’t write if I had 2 sharpies on both hands. This of course was back when I first started. I can now write almost freely and at will. What turned it around? Writing about what I know and consistently trying to do better.

For someone who claims to hate writing articles, you sure write one hell of a good article, haha.

Gotta love irony.

Yet another good read!
