Ruck,

I get what you’re saying, but I don’t get the “how” of it.

Will you ever release any info about the “how” of taking advantage of this SEO power? I mean, how does a person need to create the videos that they want to have to point to their sites? Do you simply make some powerpoint presentations and convert them to videos or do you do something else?

I really hope that you elaborate more on this technique. I, and I’m sure many others, are very interested in what you have to say about it.

Thanks!

Chris

Hi Chris,

I think what you want is like a guide right? I would very much love to release a guide on how to do this. I am actually in the works for a pretty comprehensive guide as a matter of fact.

Thing is that their is a lot of material to cover. But I could definitely put a little “evil” guide together on how to use videos to manipulate SERP’s, that my friend is not a problem.

As far as general promotion for affiliate products, or CPA, I probably would not go into that very much. With CPA offers, I use Open Office Impress to make slideshows and film them with Camtasia.

As far as driving traffic here, I use my face:)

As far as driving traffic to wherever you want and how you want will rely on you, but a guide on how to dominate the video sharing sites as well as the Search Results, that is something I could easily put together.

Ruck,

Yes, a guide would be nice, but I was mainly curious as to how you make the actual videos.

So you use Impress? That’s cool. I have both Impress and PP and can make videos from them, but what type of content should the videos contain? That’s the main question for me.

I have keywords in mind for my particular niche and would love to be able to create videos to target them and try to dominate them.

A guide would be cool or any other info you could share about it.

Thanks, Ruck!

Hey Chris,

I sent you an email containing a sample video of mine that I use to promote a CPA lead offer with.

It will give you an idea on how easy it is. I will try and get around to make a Camtasia Vid tomorrow, on how to properly use Impress to make slideshows.

Best,
Ruck

Ruck,

Sweet post dude!!

I’ve been noticing this trend in the search results also. The area where I lack knowledge in is “social bookmarking” for good, high pr backlinks…

Guess I’ve been obsessing too much w/PPC…
Do you have any specific info/tool that can take a gander at to get me up to speed?

Thanks Matt

As you know, or maybe not, I too have been struggeling to get this video stuff implemented.
I did get my slide show uploaded to Camtasia from Impress, but lost sound in transition.
But when I tried to upload video slideshow to website one of the files was too large. No big deal. I am just experimenting with this first one for learning purposes.
I guess I am asking what to do with it after Camtasia and why the audio didn’t transfer over?
I think a guide would be a great idea.
Thanks

None that I really know of yet Matt,

I personally am putting together a guide on how to grab the SE rankings with video. Of course, the info I will be relaying is strictly aggressive as usual:)

Hmm,

I don’t know why the audio didn’t carry over. Over in the left side of your computer, just click start, then click control panel, then click sounds, speech and audio devices, and from there you can check to make sure that you are recording from a mic, or at least I do, there is should be an audio troubleshooter in the far left as well.

As far as the video being to large, yea you will need to compress the video. You will need a tool to compress the video down, normally to less than 100Mb for most video sharing sites.

Always try to film in 4:3 aspect because most video sites will output the upload at 320X240, audio of 6Kbits/s, a frame rate of 30 frames/second and you should most defintely try to have your final output as Xvid or at the very least an avi file like mpeg4.

Ruck,

Again you deliver with another great idea, and free tactic, I’m with chris I have long wondered what a cpa offer video’s content should be like. If you could send me a link to a smple video as well, it would be awesome. Thanks for all the content latly, and keep up the good work man.

Hey Ruck,

Just came across your blog. Totally cool! Love the way you help out folks.

I am a total noob at this whole IM stuff.

Is the video/guide link you put together available on your site or do I need to request an email?

Thanks,
Dave…
