Well congrats to those that were able to win the opportunity at some free passes! No worries on the issues Kris, it happens to the best of them!
Till then,
Jean
Me too agree with what New Age|Web design said. It is right that PayPal help in online transactions. But there are many other issues connected with this.
Hi!it is a good post with a cool them.I thin that PayPal is the faster, safer way to send money, make an online payment, receive money or set up a merchant account.
I am pretty much pleased with your good work. You put really very helpful information. Keep it up. Keep blogging. Looking to reading your next post.
Hi, Happy that you are back. Will follow you on twitter.
To bad I missed out, congrats to the winners.
Ahh, dealing with paypal problems. They can be strict with their policies, but when they practically have a monopoly, they get away with it. For now we have little choice but to comply with any demands they make.
Ha, Paypal isnt it great? I Have not encountered any problems thus far.
PayPal is great for dealing with internet transactions but sometimes they can give you trouble. Congrats to those who won the passes.
I’m just now starting to use Paypal…I hear good and I hear bad. I hope to have good to report.
I haven’t really using anything more than the most basic features of Paypal but I think they are better than most other payment methods. Sorry to hear of your problems with them though, Kris.
If you are just doing small business with paypal, it is relatively hassle free. It is when you increase your business that you should expect the paypal security team to be all over your ass trying to get every last detail about your business. I guess lots of people scam through paypal and regular users suffer the consequences.
@Laptop, actually that happened to my family once, where we made a sale online, and made the sale on Paypal, since the transaction money was bigger than usual, Paypal immediately just about shut us down. We almost lost the money, but eventually after a few phone calls, were able to get everything sorted out.
Till then,
Jean
@used tires: consider yourself lucky that it only took a few phone calls. This just happened to us and they practically wanted to do a full cavity search. We basically had to send every document possible that proves who we are and that we own the goods we sell. Even then they would find something else wrong and demand something else.
@Laptop, you are right in our case we got lucky, sorry to hear that it also happened to you, that’s rough for sure.

Hopefully I’ll be able to attend next time.
I will attend ASE next year!
Congratulations to the winners. Anyway, as for Paypal, I have reservations as it never worked for me. I used to have two paypa ID’s. I already deleted one of them and retain the other for possible future use as a lot are into paypal. You might want to check out Escrow.
Oh Man! I wish I could have made this event. It’s only about a 6 hour drive from my house! Looks like it was a great event. Oh, Well… Maybe next year!
Lol yeah paypal have always been a prick, why dont you consider using paypal alternatives? If you are really interested, you might use OkPay.com, a e-wallet service that not only serves the main purpose but also fetches you some extra income too by its referral system :P

PayPal is great, and really acts as the perfect buffer between your credit card details and online scamsters, but sadly their service can be quite finicky too. Even if it is in the name of service and security, it still sucks when then ban your accounts. Dealing with them via email can be quite exasperating to boot. Grrrr….
