PPC-Coach is surely better than many other resources for the same proce and even higher price tags but newbies don't have that kind of cash to pay for and also the experience needed to make that investment worthwhile.

Instead learning the ins and outs of AM first and then going for PPC Coach can be a very good strategy.

Ubercamp definitely provided what I was looking for/needed. PPC-Coach I would say is the best choice for newb affiliates.

@WayneDog
But I'm not sure I'd reveal all the keywords either. Everyone will just copy them, compete against him and ruin the campaign wouldn't they?

I was thinking of joining because I'd like to see his process. Chad from CDFNetworks always talks about the process of setting up adgroup structure as one of the most important determinants of success. I'd be interested in seeing how someone who does huge volume campaigns approaches the process... ie. how he picks his keywords, how he structures adgroups, how he tests, what he looks for in an offer, etc..

@Pdaguy9
For one he doesn't even show all his keywords in the "case study"... The whole thing is just very poorly done and like we already established there isn't much going on in there at all. Regardless of what Paul says the fact of the matter is he is selling his service to noobs (as that is the only people willing to pay for it as they don't know any better) and while it's may definitely have some information that may help a few it's nothing that isn't already in other "FREE" forums on internet marketing & affiliate marketing. It isn't what it's advertised to be at all and it's WAY OVERPRICED!

Recently Jeremy Palmer (who has been an affilaite marketer 3 times as long as Uber) has put out a FREE product called the black ink project and I have been blown away by both the amount and quality of content he provides. It's basically everything you need to know to really get started with affilaite marketing and more. Now that is worth $200 a month (even more) but he's not charging a penny for it. Check it out at blackinkproject.com.

@WayneDog,

What is he not doing right in the case study? And what is he leaving out?

If he is leaving out pertinent information, then is he ripping people off?

@ppcrocks
I only brought up Ubercamp to point out the fact that people new to this shouldn't buy into it. I'm definitely not "pimping out" ubercamp. When I first got in there people were participating. But that was when it first started. I did notice that things have died down after Wayne pointed it out. I did have to go double check and sure enough STILL the only thing on there is the case study.

PPC-Coach is definitely the leader in ppc-training for people starting out. And their tools pay for themselves 100 times over.

Kris--

Your posts so far since taking over have been pretty straight up, but I hate to see you jeapordize your reputation by pimping out uber-camp. As someone else pointed out, experienced marketers are not going to shell out $200 and aren't going to waste their time hanging out in that type of forum. It's a huge turn off to see this crap being promoted anywhere.

@Waynedog
Touche... I must say I did have to go back in and double check on the action in there. It has died down a lot as far as participation in the forum by other marketers. And there does seem to be a handful of unexperienced marketers checking out the scene.

@Kris I still have to respectfully completely disagree with you. Paul and Wes are the only experienced marketers in there posting anything and the info that is posted isn't worth that price tag. I do agree that a private resource only for experienced marketers is not a bad idea but uber camp definitely missed the mark.

First, anyone who is experienced doesn't need to pay $200 to join which is exactly why he gave FREE memberships to many other experienced marketers and almost all of them never log in anymore.

Second, there are tons of noobs in there and Paul is allowing just about anyone who pays $200 in which ruins the concept in the first place.

All in all I wouldn't suggest anyone, noob or experienced to join as it's a waste and there are other similar (and cheaper) things out there, not to mention all the free information from blogs, forums, sites, etc...

@Wayne-
I agree that Ubercamp doesn't have as much content as it SHOULD right now, but you have to look at the big picture. Ubercamp is a place for experienced marketers to get together and share knowledge on advanced topics. The price tag is a way to keep beginners out. What I really like about Ubercamp is the simple fact that if I'm struggling with something I can ask a questions to a group of very experienced marketers. And Ubercamp doesn't just focus on PPC-CPA. It is an overall affiliate marketing training ground.

PPC-Coach is excellent for beginners and experienced marketers. I will agree with that. The tools are definitely invaluable!

@Dotdriven-
Good to know about the SpeedPPC sale going on! I know many people want it but didn't want to spend all of the money.

Has anyone tried LSGen?

Ucup, it's the wordpress affiliate pro plugin...it converts any phrase/word you want throughout your blog to your affiliate link.

So if you type speedppc it should link using his affiliate link (unless he has it limited to a specific number of links).

Although not directly related (not training) speedppc is having a 2 day, end of fiscal year sale and giving $100 off. I won't try to sell it as it does me no good (though if you want an affiliate link to use, do let me know lol) but know there were quite a few people that wanted it but missed out on the launch week special. It's a great tool and makes setting up really detailed campaigns very easy.

It isn't intended for noobs though and you should be able to set up a decent campaign (ideally mostly profitable) so don't spend the money until you know the basics of PPC first...unless you definitely know you will want to get it and want to save the $100 lol. But it will sit there and be useless until you know PPC. It has the power to help you make HUGE detailed campaigns fast but if you don't know what you are doing it can help you lose/waste money super fast as well. Anyone that does ppc should be able to recognize the benefits just by watching the video on the site and reading the features.

If you haven't tried it yet Kris, maybe send them off an email letting them know you would like to review it ;). They have a great affiliate program as well.
