If you’re new to PPC…

Then you want to read this post! If your not new to PPC scroll down to the bold writing that says UBERCAMP.

Everyday I get asked the question over AIM and MSN Messenger “Can you help me with my campaign?” While for the most part I don’t mind… I do want to recommend 2 websites to check out.

The first site I want to recommend is PPC-Coach.com. If you have an extra $50 a month then you NEED to make the investment. I promise you that you will not be disappointed. If you have liked the whole PPC series on this blog then you will LOVE what Coach has to say.

Not only will you get some excellent training in PPC-CPA you will also be able to ask more in-depth questions that can better be answered by a full time, PPC-CPA marketer. But what is really cool about PPC-Coach is the fact that there are SEVERAL success stories inside that will simply blow you away. One guy turned his first profit on January 12th, 2008 and has since turned a profit of over $35,000 ALL from the PPC-Coach training.

I like the coaches system because it really is a learning ground for people. It is a training center where each month you get more and more information to help you turn a profit online. If I was given the opportunity to start with this program when I started online I would have.

PPC-Coach even gives you over 10 PPC related tools for you to use. My 3 favorite tools that he has are the Landing Page Generator, Big 3 Campaign Generator and the Keyword Tracking System. These three tools alone justify the $50/month payment.

Why stop at the tools? Coach has even provided videos that show you how to use the tools and how to better your PPC campaigns.

Lastly… The forum. It is absolutely a necessary item. There you have the opportunity to ask whatever question you need answered. I’ll be honest… I’m no guru at PPC-CPA. Even I have asked a question in there to get clarification.

It’s worth a look. And if you are serious about building PPC-CPA as a profitable business… it is a necessity!

Ubercamp is a relatively new site. So far the majority of the content in there is PPC-CPA related. It is seriously one of the best websites I have found for advanced marketers to learn! If you are new to the IM game then I don’t suggest signing up with them. In fact the owner Paul Bourque even states right on the site not to sign up if you aren’t already making money!

Jonathan Volk from Jonathanvolk.com made this statement about Ubercamp, “Ubercamp is more for affiliates who are already a bit established but can’t seem to push past into that next level.” He couldn’t have put that any better. And while I have been marketing online for a while now, I have definitely learned a thing or two inside Ubercamp that I know will help grow my business.

The main difference between ubercamp and PPC-Coach is the simple fact that PPC-Coach is for beginners and Ubercamp is for experienced marketers. Also, while Ubercamp doesn’t have any tools right now, the information available is priceless!

I completely dissagree. I have seen both ppc coach and ubercamp(through someone else’s subscription) and ppc coach is a much better resource for both beginners as well as experienced affiliate marketers. PPC-Coach has at least 10 times the amount of content, great tools, and the content is simply better. There is not much on ubercamp besides a case study which he isn’t even doing properly and isn’t showing everything he should be as he is holding back some info from that case study. A major waste of $200 a month if you ask me. Save yourself $150 a month and get PPC-Coach if you are looking for a good resource. You will not only save $150 every month but you will have a superior resource as well.

Although not directly related (not training) speedppc is having a 2 day, end of fiscal year sale and giving $100 off. I won’t try to sell it as it does me no good (though if you want an affiliate link to use, do let me know lol) but know there were quite a few people that wanted it but missed out on the launch week special. It’s a great tool and makes setting up really detailed campaigns very easy.

It isn’t intended for noobs though and you should be able to set up a decent campaign (ideally mostly profitable) so don’t spend the money until you know the basics of PPC first…unless you definitely know you will want to get it and want to save the $100 lol. But it will sit there and be useless until you know PPC. It has the power to help you make HUGE detailed campaigns fast but if you don’t know what you are doing it can help you lose/waste money super fast as well. Anyone that does ppc should be able to recognize the benefits just by watching the video on the site and reading the features.

If you haven’t tried it yet Kris, maybe send them off an email letting them know you would like to review it ;). They have a great affiliate program as well.

How come the PPC Coach affiliate URLs on Kris’s post are all exactly the same as the ones on the first comment by WayneDog? What’s going on?

June 24, 2008

Ucup, it’s the wordpress affiliate pro plugin…it converts any phrase/word you want throughout your blog to your affiliate link.

So if you type speedppc it should link using his affiliate link (unless he has it limited to a specific number of links).

June 24, 2008

lol, I have speedppc on the mind. I meant ppc-coach (<– will most likely be linked using his affiliate link)

I agree that Ubercamp doesn’t have as much content as it SHOULD right now, but you have to look at the big picture. Ubercamp is a place for experienced marketers to get together and share knowledge on advanced topics. The price tag is a way to keep beginners out. What I really like about Ubercamp is the simple fact that if I’m struggling with something I can ask a questions to a group of very experienced marketers. And Ubercamp doesn’t just focus on PPC-CPA. It is an overall affiliate marketing training ground.

PPC-Coach is excellent for beginners and experienced marketers. I will agree with that. The tools are definitely invaluable!

Good to know about the SpeedPPC sale going on! I know many people want it but didn’t want to spend all of the money.

Has anyone tried LSGen?

June 24, 2008

@Kris I still have to respectfully completely disagree with you. Paul and Wes are the only experienced marketers in there posting anything and the info that is posted isn’t worth that price tag. I do agree that a private resource only for experienced marketers is not a bad idea but uber camp definitely missed the mark.

First, anyone who is experienced doesn’t need to pay $200 to join which is exactly why he gave FREE memberships to many other experienced marketers and almost all of them never log in anymore.

Second, there are tons of noobs in there and Paul is allowing just about anyone who pays $200 in which ruins the concept in the first place.

All in all I wouldn’t suggest anyone, noob or experienced to join as it’s a waste and there are other similar (and cheaper) things out there, not to mention all the free information from blogs, forums, sites, etc…

Touche… I must say I did have to go back in and double check on the action in there. It has died down a lot as far as participation in the forum by other marketers. And there does seem to be a handful of unexperienced marketers checking out the scene.

Your posts so far since taking over have been pretty straight up, but I hate to see you jeapordize your reputation by pimping out uber-camp. As someone else pointed out, experienced marketers are not going to shell out $200 and aren’t going to waste their time hanging out in that type of forum. It’s a huge turn off to see this crap being promoted anywhere.

June 25, 2008

I only brought up Ubercamp to point out the fact that people new to this shouldn’t buy into it. I’m definitely not “pimping out” ubercamp. When I first got in there people were participating. But that was when it first started. I did notice that things have died down after Wayne pointed it out. I did have to go double check and sure enough STILL the only thing on there is the case study.

PPC-Coach is definitely the leader in ppc-training for people starting out. And their tools pay for themselves 100 times over.

What is he not doing right in the case study? And what is he leaving out?

If he is leaving out pertinent information, then is he ripping people off?

June 27, 2008

For one he doesn’t even show all his keywords in the “case study”… The whole thing is just very poorly done and like we already established there isn’t much going on in there at all. Regardless of what Paul says the fact of the matter is he is selling his service to noobs (as that is the only people willing to pay for it as they don’t know any better) and while it’s may definitely have some information that may help a few it’s nothing that isn’t already in other “FREE” forums on internet marketing & affiliate marketing. It isn’t what it’s advertised to be at all and it’s WAY OVERPRICED!

Recently Jeremy Palmer (who has been an affilaite marketer 3 times as long as Uber) has put out a FREE product called the black ink project and I have been blown away by both the amount and quality of content he provides. It’s basically everything you need to know to really get started with affilaite marketing and more. Now that is worth $200 a month (even more) but he’s not charging a penny for it. Check it out at blackinkproject.com.

June 27, 2008

But I’m not sure I’d reveal all the keywords either. Everyone will just copy them, compete against him and ruin the campaign wouldn’t they?

I was thinking of joining because I’d like to see his process. Chad from CDFNetworks always talks about the process of setting up adgroup structure as one of the most important determinants of success. I’d be interested in seeing how someone who does huge volume campaigns approaches the process… ie. how he picks his keywords, how he structures adgroups, how he tests, what he looks for in an offer, etc..

Ubercamp definitely provided what I was looking for/needed. PPC-Coach I would say is the best choice for newb affiliates.

November 26, 2008

PPC-Coach is surely better than many other resources for the same proce and even higher price tags but newbies don’t have that kind of cash to pay for and also the experience needed to make that investment worthwhile.

Instead learning the ins and outs of AM first and then going for PPC Coach can be a very good strategy.
