Contest Part 2!

OH NO… WHAT’S THIS… A second part to the contest. (only one more after this… making 3 parts total).

Now that you are acquainted with your AM we’re going to get your working along side them. Go into your Market Leverage account and look for an offer that you cannot normally see. In other words… find an international offer that is out of your country. Don’t use an offer that is in your same country.

Call up your affiliate manager and ask him/her if they can take a screen shot for you. This is how I view my international offers that I normally cannot see.

Your AM is there to work for and with you. They are the front line to the advertisers. Some of my most profitable campaigns are in other countries. However, I would never run a campaign if I did not know what the advertisers landing page looked like. Unfortunately a lot of advertisers have geo ip targeting which can keep you from seeing the offers landing page. So to combat this problem I like to ask my AM for a screen shot of the landing page.

For this part of the contest… Get a hold of your AM. Ask them to take a screen shot for an internation offer you have found in their database. Then upload the offer to your domain and post it here for us to see. If you don’t want to use your personal domain for this (understandable) then jump over to Media Fire, upload the image there, and send us the link so we can see it. Also, post the country where the off is valid.

Remember, this contest is designed to help get you started in the process of CPA marketing.

Also… If you still want in the contest it isn’t too late to start. Jump over to the first contest post and read up. Then jump over to the second contest post to find out what the first task is.

Good luck!

Not that it is bad to keep in contact with your AM but couldn’t you just use a proxy to view the landing page if the advertiser does block U.S. traffic?

June 12, 2008

That’s what I would have said :), worldproxy202 is quite useful for seeing offers in Canada, USA and UK, and a lot quicker.

June 12, 2008

ditto on affstarter – is there some reason something like worldproxy isn’t good enough?

June 12, 2008

Yeah you can use woldproxy. But like has already been said… It only works for Canada, US, and UK. My best offers have run in the Netherlands, and Australia. So, when all else fails, ask your AM. But you can use world proxy for this. Just post a screen shot thats all I ask.

Worldproxy is adding support for Australia plus there are tons of proxy server out there for other countries

My screenshot is up at my url in my comment profile.

I was looking for something different, but I finally broke down and went with something I could find :) I had two browsers open, one I opened to “all offers available in the US” and used the drop down box to filter to categories, and one opened to the “find offers” window. I’d select a country and push the button, and mostly get the same 19 offers, all of which were also available in the US. A few times I got more than that and looked through those to find ones not available here.

Kyle’s tech is out today, so I found my own damn proxy. :)

This is not a screenshot of a landing page, but Kyle at MarketLeverage said this is what we need. Hope he’s right

Hi Everyone,

Here is A UK cash advance offer I am thinking of promoting.

For general proxy usage I like to use Tor. It’s good to know the world proxy 202 is going to have Australia support. Thanks for the update on that!

Has anyone else had trouble with WorldProxy202 support for the UK? Everytime I try to use that I get a message that the site is down

June 13, 2008

I have found that WorldProxy202 is up and down like a yo-yo. I am in Canada and therefor can not see U.S. offers. I try to use WorldProxy202 but it is unavailable most of the time when i need it. I now use a FireFox Plugin called ProxySel.
Try it out.

Here’s what Kyle sent me on the international offer

June 17, 2008

I’ve been actually wanting to start with “international” offers since I am newer and have read that there is less competition and a bit easier traffic for those offers (I think even Ruck has talked about it a few times). But being a noob I wanted to stick with the cheaper and easier offers and try to get by with the same methods that are done here so was looking for “zip”/email level type offers.

The one that I was looking at is: EMAIL SUBMIT: SMART CREDIT SOURCE UK! $… (3933)

Anyway, here is my screenshot for the contest entry and for those that may need it…just don’t kill the offer/traffic and give a poor noob like me a chance first lol ;):
