Hey Nice find. And I think http://www.popshops.com also cool. It can be implemented easily with wordpress. look at http://www.tea-ideas.com which I did as an experiment with popshops and phpbay but, no I am not promoting this and earning anything from this. Template needs more works. Do you think there is any potential with that site?

Hey thanks for this Kris!

Yeah, PPC is great with these stores. Now that we can bid on trademarked keywords it’s easy to dominate a niche at very low cost by matching keywords to individual product pages. Nice long tail keyphrases like ‘Samsung HPT4264 42-inch Plasma HDTV’ cost just pennies per click, and you can do this for every product in your store (might take a while though…)

I’ve been using PPC to kick start my own stores. Getting front page rankings in natural search can sometimes take up to a month, and PPC helps not only to drive instant traffic but also shows which are my most profitable products so I can start building SEO campaigns around them ASAP.

I looked at popshops some but it didn’t seem to be as robust as Pedler’s script. You may also want to check out affilistore. It is a free script, but it is mainly geared towards building datafeed only sites. It doesn’t do the mashup thing out of the box

yeah, I agree that popshop might not as robust as Pedler’s script. But It has a free version and If you look thoroughly you will see it has lot of features too.

I’m intrigued and have some important questions that aren’t in the FAQ. I’d like to blog this and let my 5 Star affiliates know about it, because I know many of them would jump right on this! (I’ll of course quote and link to this blog as the source.)

But 1st need to get a couple answers. Could not find email, even on Whois. Kris, could you hook me up with Paul? Please send me his email.

Thanks,

Linda Buquet

Don’t get me wrong. I think popshops has a real purpose for people. I think it is great for blogs and for the more “static” of sites. Makes things really easy so I can say that I recommend it.

Hey Linda, thanks for the heads up. I’ve gone ahead and added some contact info on the site now.

If anyone has any questions, please go ahead and get it touch at ams-questions [at] mail.hugepedlar.com

In response to a couple of questions, I’ve recorded a video of the admin panel so you can see exactly what the AMS is like behind the scenes:

The are many ways you can sell drop ship products. on your own site or ebay. selling in your own site you don’t have to pay for access charges for ebay. which you can actually save.

It is better to use already popular sites instead of own Dropshipping basically works like this a merchant offers a certain good on the market. He has large quantities of that product and needs dealers to advertise the merchandise and bring in buyers.
