PS: Just a picky thing…. remember the difference between your and you’re. Last post you use your instead of you’re or you are, and this post you did the opposite; “you’re demographic”. Makes me a tiny bit more insane :)

I’ve been trends watching a lot lately, primarily for ones with longevity that I can build niche marketing blogs around. This usually means product based ones where I can either hook it into eBay affiliate or a specific CPA offer.

However, since most of the hot trends are celeb type topics it seems that they would be tailor made for poll sites.

Good post Kris… I never thought about looking much deeper on the Yahoo Buzz or Google Trends, but I guess that is thinking outside the box. Don’t forget those news magazines. You can find some topics in there as well and the ads in the pages will give you ideas. Those magazines have already done the work on studying the demographics so that gives you a leg up.
