Laziness and marketing defiantly don’t go together. Just like anything in life where the rewards are high, laziness will get you nowhere. Its definitely a difficult task, and you have to be willing to do it, you have to want it. And if you really want to elevate yourself you need to learn HTML for sure!

I know a small bit enough about coding to make little edits like you mention. I agree with you that it is very important to learn basic HTML to succeed with PPC marketing. I made my own landing page with some help from a template, but I still had to do a lot with the HTML code.

I’d even go as far as to say you should not outsource creating landing pages. You’ll be better off if you learn how to do it yourself and save money and time

To those who complain it’s too hard to learn html, you don’t need to learn the entire language, just some of the structural basics, it really is not difficult. For php – I can’t code in it at all but can make smallish modifications, which usually boils down to me getting rid of some output that I don’t want there, it’s certainly more tricky than html and less forgiving of mistakes but often modifications to existing code is all you need to do.

Without learning HTML coding, you would have to spend tremendous time and effort on making any adjustment, big or small, to your web page. It can be frustrating and tiresome, if you don’t know what your doing.
HTML is really not that hard, especially once you get the hang of it. Shouldn’t take more than a month or so to learn.
The sad part is that a lot of new internet marketers are looking for quick shortcuts and fast profits. They want a copy and paste type model instead of taking time out to actually learn and practice different internet marketing concepts/techniques.

Ok, for anyone concerned about learning HTML, don’t be. It isn’t that difficult. For the most part, you don’t need to do anything super advanced to make this work. I taught myself HTML simply by looking at some websites and source code. It is a very simple thing to pick up. Yes, there are more difficult things, but not rocket science. If you want to make this work, you have to work at it. As for more advanced things, PHP may take a little while to learn. No doubts about that. I have never read anything about it and don’t really know it that well. However, I have taken scripts(such as tracking scripts) and figured out quite easily how they fit in. If you want to learn the stuff, then learn it. There is enough info out there to become an expert on all types of things if you want.

And just another question… What happened to this blog? It was really good with great info and then it had an ownership change. Initially it was a post every day or two. Then one a week. And now it is the 28th and there hasn’t been a post for two weeks. I know people are busy, but I kind of enjoyed this one. I really got into CPA with a good amount of success after coming here from BHW. CPA was really a new thing and I learned the basics quickly and sure enough all the info here works. Just my $.02

I think html code is a must to be honest. I wanted to start up a website and had a good idea, but I would absolutely need html to do this. Are there maybe some online courses?

Agreed! HTML is easy to learn so anyone interented in website design should know how to code in html. Even when you use CMS you still want to change something in it – without at least HTML is immposible!

Well, Html is an easiest language to learn and to use it. I too am a great fan of it. It makes the works as an ease. I too agree that being dealing with the website, you should at least know the base. So that for any small changes you have not to depend on others.
