I don’t get anything for sending you off to Volks book. You will see there is a referral tag there…. That is just so he can know he is showing him some love.
If you don’t know about Volk he is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. I recently had the opportunity to meet with him at Affiliate Summit West in Vegas. This guy knows his stuff. He is young and very successful online bringing in around $300,000 a month in affiliate commissions. Anyways, to make a long story short… Pick up his guide if you haven’t already!

Yeah but who is going to beat out John Chow who currently has twice as many as shoemoney? If you think my audience pulls more weight then chows then you really have some learning to do.
Jon asked me to use that tag so that he can track where people are coming from. Trust me. I’m not getting anything for it especially this late in the game.

Kris, we know that you won’t beat out Chow for the top spot in that contest. Still, I’m not sure why you claim the referral link is only for Volk’s benefit. I’m sure he could use Google Analytics or something similar to track users. My guess is that you would just be satisfied with a mention & link as a top 10 referrer.
Oh get over it. I could care less about the contest. I did it solely because Volk asked me too. If it’s really that big of a deal go read someone elses blog.
Wow, he is bringing in over $300,000 in affiliate commissions every single month? Looks like a super affiliate. I got to check his guide. I hope that the Volks book really helps me. After reading your post, it looks like it has some great information inside.
Volk’s a good guy. You gotta respect someone who can bring in those kind of affiliate commissions. Just don’t expect a super affiliate to really share all his secrets. He’d be stupid to do that and wouldn’t last long in business if he did that.
I agree he doesn’t give away all of his techniques but the blog is worth reading alot of good content and even alot of guest posts so you never know what you might find. I like that in a blog.
I follow Jonathan’s blog myself, and the man has got some good value to offer, for free to boot. It is great seeing two of my favourite blogs interacting in this manner. It grows the breed stronger!
there are not many persons like Volk. I am new into affiliate marketing but found nice information in his guide that I will try for sure (after I re-read the guide), nice blog also.
JV’s definitely one of my heroes ever since I got into this, right up there with guys like Yaro. Definitely a true definition of the entrepreneurial spirit.

No April Fool’s Day prank today Kris? I’m surprised considering how many other blogs are pulling pranks.
Yea Laptop, seems like it’s hard to turn anywhere on the web yesterday without some April fool’s joke. People really got into the swing of things this year. :)

Yeah, I picked up Jonathon’s book and it had some really great tips. He is definitely one of the top affiliate marketers around and he seems sincere about helping others out.
Yea, it’s a really good book. I’m almost all the way through it. Hopefully he comes out with more soon. :D

Hey Kris I read that interview yesterday and thought it was excellent. Some interesting insights to be gleaned from it that we can apply to our businesses. But the thing that impressed me the most was the importance you place on spending/giving more time with your wife.
