Hi Ruck

Perfect timing. I just got approved by CPA Empire and Laura is my AM. I did exactly as per your posts and got accepted in a week.

I am looking forward reading your next post.

Thanks
Sukh

I think the offical word from Google was that the probationary period for adwords is somewhere around 4 months, and sometimes you pay up to %50 higher CPC than someone who is not in the probationary period.

The good thing though, is that once you get past it, you’re past it in full. Someone who has an account for 2 years has no offical advantage over someone who has had an account for 6 months.

Going to read up on MCCA’s right now.

Awesome. I currently am using wordtracker. If you can incorporate that at all in the discussions that would be great.

Thanks for all the help.

So if you have multiple clients in your MCC, you could setup nearly identical campaigns in each of the accts for some Shock and Awe PPC niche domination? (ie Half the ads that come up are yours …)

or am I smoking crack?

Umm yea,

I really dont want to go into detail on that aspect of Adwords because there are a lot of loopholes to exploit but let’s keep from that. In short though, yes.

Ruck,

This series is going to rock hard. This is exactly what I am working on right now. Seeing some small successes this week finally. This series should help kick me into high gear.

Ruck,

Great post.
However in paragrap 4 you say “There is a way around this though but you may not like it.” Will you explain what the workaround is?

Thanks
Solvetheproblem

LOL I hope the rest of this series DOESN’T go as good as it is going trying to set up a MCC for the last 4 HRS.OMFG and still don’t have it set up (ya I have watched the vids) I hate it when things don’t go right LMAO

@Solvetheproblem - Yea, it’s spending as much money as you can to get out of the classification period. Generally Adwords charges the first $50, then $100 then it scales some more from there.

@Gokarter - Took me less than 5 minutes to set mine up. Let us know the specifics so we can help.

Funny, I’ve never used Google Adwords for PPC, even when I was doing some Adsense arbitrage last year. Guess I’ll be needing one now for certain, and now regret not activating one last year.

I wonder if you can cut the costs by networking to the right people and being helpful to them. I’m sure they’ll give something back and that could be traffic by linking or a review, tips, whatever. It’s been a good choice for me so far.

Also, leaving useful comments have been driving traffic to my site too. :)

Hey Ruck,

Just a question about setting up the MCC account.
When you are asked to specify “My client manager type”, did you specify that you were an affiliate, or did you choose one of the other options like “web consultant”?

many thanks,
Marc
