At least for me there are some things in the future that I wanted to incorporate but the old theme would have seemed crammed. @ Denise - Yes and no. Yes in a sense that it does increase internal and inbound links. However this blog is set to only have the post pages indexed so I avoid category, archive pages getting indexed and me getting hit with a duplicate content penalty. For the top of the blog I really wanted wanted new information showing. Such as recent posts, commentators and forum posts.
