I’m kicking my WordPress, but it’s acting retarded. I think the issues have something to do with the theme. I love the clean, minimal look of it, but it was originally WP 1.5, so it’s probably only working half-assedly with WP 2.3. I had to hack it apart last weekend to widgetize it, and I probably broke it while ‘fixing’ it.

I honestly didn’t figure you would even notice me, but I apparently forgot about WP’s auto trackbacks. I’ve recently started blogging to get back into the habit of writing, and forcing my brain to work on the higher levels that my day job doesn’t require. I figured that I was just basically going to be howling at the clouds for quite a while.

Everybody is welcome to use the main BookmarkMoney.com site. I haven’t ‘officially’ launched it, but I could use any help I can get putting the software through its paces. Normally I’d set it up in sandbox mode somewhere to test it, but Pligg is a beast to work with, and isn’t quite as easy to move around as WordPress is.

I think I mentioned on my blog that I created the site partly as a way to share bookmarks that don’t fit in at other bookmarking sites, and partly as a response to Digg banning John Chow’s site for life.

I don’t read him that often, and I came to the party after it happened, but I think that it sucks that a couple of people are adding ‘anti’ to the social bookmarking genre. Especially when they buried his plea to help his friend’s kid with cancer.

Anyway, I hope this doesn’t come off as too self-promoting or anything, but I really am grateful to have been noticed. Thanks for being an inspiration to the rest of us working class schlubs!
