VIDEO – Site Flipping for Profit
Here’s the webinar we had with Ryan Moran. I apologize for the audio issues. The first 8 minutes have no sound except mine… Weird I know… Then we started to pick up the audio.
If you have any questions feel free to jump into the members forum and ask away!
ENJOY!
OH HEY… Thank you Nick and Jesse for the audio. (Mine didn’t record Ryan’s half of the conversation.) I used their audio recording for this vid.

I’m halfway through the video and it’s quite insightful so far. :-)
Till then,

Next time just wait the hour before you start snacking on potato chips and whatever you were eating out of the bowl (ice cream?).
Makes for a more professional sounding video.
LOL I told you the audio didn’t come from me. It came from someone else’s recording.
Website flipping is so profitable, as long as you can find someone who needs money quick and has a legitimate website that doesn’t operate off fads or illegal activity!
The eating sounds are priceless. Really completed the video, haha!
My name links to a discussion on a forum about this particular post and video. Apart from being totally unprofessional it’s riddled with errors and inaccuracies and even blantantly misleading claims. For example, Ryan says something about being an exclusive content provider for Flippa. Flippa has debunked that at the forum thread mentioned and warned him not to repeat such a claim. I can’t be bothered to watch the whole video but it’s not necessary. Someone willing to BS on one subject is a bullsh*tter to me.
Ryan Moran, you FAIL.
Those are some pretty serious allegations you’re raising there, 3Six. Could anybody cast some more light on this particular issue?
@3six – If your referring to the un-professionalism in the sound then good thing this isn’t a professional blog. This is a personal blog where I can talk about my success with making money online. This isn’t a business.
Besides Ryan stating that he is an exclusive content provider (who really cares) what else in that video is erroneous? To be an exclusive content provider you just have to write a articles for someone and not post them anywhere else. It’s not hard to be an exclusive content provider somewhere.
@3six – Forgive me for misspeaking on the webinar – what I SHOULD have said was that I am the exclusive EXTERNAL content provider for Flippa.com… instead, I said that I was just the exclusive provider, which is not the case. They have talented writers on their team that do blog posts and create content, but I am the only person that they have agreed to link to on a regular basis that is not within the company. My apologies.
“what I SHOULD have said was that I am the exclusive EXTERNAL content provider for Flippa.com”
I bet you are not exclusive anything to Flippa!
“I am the only person that they have agreed to link to on a regular basis that is not within the company”
So if Luke or someone from Flippa drops into the thread above and dismisses this claim as well, will you then admit you’re full of the bull manure?
“what else in that video is erroneous?”
If I get a chance to go through all of it – and have a few cups of coffee to keep me awake through the interminable rambling – I’ll drop in and point them out to you.
haha I want to watch this video just to hear the guy eating in the background….sounds hilarious. The comment about Ryan claiming false things does make me skeptical of the whole video though. If you are going to be the exclusive anything, you better watch how you word it, especially when referring to another company.
This is totally off-topic Kris, but I was wondering who was the minisite designer that designed MassPPVtraffic.com?
Great audio BTW, hilarious.
Nice.
One of the things I’ve been trying to do is enter the flip market. Now I’m trying to do some testing, building forums.. and who knows.. in the future, probably sell them. That would be awesome.
Nice review.Thanks for the post.
site flpping always attract me, but developing good quality site is an easy task. and if my site is starting to print money, i feel sadly to sell it.
may be this is not my way.
If you have a site that is earning you $1000 a month, I really cant understand why you would want to sell it, just create another ten or twenty sites and you have a large regular income coming in
@3Six: You said “For example, Ryan says something about being an exclusive content provider for Flippa. Flippa has debunked that at the forum thread mentioned and warned him not to repeat such a claim.”
What is the forum thread url? I’m interested to find out if Ryan is the real deal or not.
used textbooks, the forum 3Six referred to is mine. The relevant thread is in my signature.
I’m happy for Ryan to come and state his case. My forum has members like 3Six who’ve been buying and selling sites for many years and also people fairly new to site flipping.
Ash – If you can get more capital (in your example, $10k) then you can make larger investments. It’s about making more money in the long run.
Great interview! Learned a lot of interesting things about making that guacamole. Keep up with the good posts, I’ll be reading up on them for sure.
Great post, flipping sites is a great way to make good money.
Interesting video, but the audio is terrible. It’s difficult to hear it on my laptop.
Remember when this site was going to do a “case study” on building a website?
Yeah, ancient history, huh?
I’d have to say that I’m not personally in favor of site flipping. If you are going to put that much effort into a site, it makes more sense to keep that site for long term profit. Selling a website prematurely seems like a desperate person’s move.
I guess it makes more sense if you are not very skilled at the whole process of getting a website profitable and marketed. I’m thinking a lot of site flippers just don’t know the tricks to building up traffic.
i’m to stressfull always failed in flipping site bussines :(
Oi, isn’t it just amazing how much friction a slight misuses of language can lead to….the bottom line is that there is money to be made in the internet real estate market, site flipping for profit being one of the prime methods.
it could have been better if the audio was working in the first 8 minutes but anyway this is a good review, there are some points that i can’t say i agree but majority of them are great techniques.
I have to say I’m not in support of site flipping either. It’s never worked out too well for most of my acquaintances that have tried it.
Till then,
Jean
Without a great knowledge, site flipping can be a dangerous game. This video provides some great tips and information on site flipping that people need to watch before trying to do this.
Any chance you’ll create a transcript of this?

Thank you
That was an excellent webinar. I picked up quite a few useful tips and advice from watching. You did a great job! Many thanks for sharing.
I’d like to try to get into site flipping, but I have a feeling that once I buy a site and improve it, I’d want to keep it for myself. I’d rather build up a large stream of semi-passive income rather than to keep working hard to make a buck each month.

Great post site flipping is a new method am going to get into soon
That’s a great video. It’s amazing the amount of money you can make just by flipping website.s
Great video, never thought of this before. Thanks.
Great video, it was a kinda long so I skimmed thru parts of it. I am a total newb when it comes to site flipping and this video had some really great points and tips. I’m glad the audio kicked in later on. :)
Everybody is doing it at Flippa.
Indeed a lot of people are doing it but a lot doesn’t know how to do it right. Website flipping in principle is an easy business. But making it big in the industry is a totally different thing.
I really like it. Thank you for providing the useful information.
Awesome video and the sound effects as well. :-) On a serious note, the idea behind website flipping is simple. You either build or buy a website then sell it. But what and which website to buy is another issue. Of course most websites on sale would claim they are a profitable site. But are they really profitable sites? As per any other business, we must always be critical and look beyond what is laid before us.
Half way trough. Really interesting, and not to complicated it seems. Maybe this is something I will take on myself.
When did you record this?

Hey great review there, i agree you can make money by this way.
