While I am not a big fan of selling a site that I have put hard work into, I wouldn’t mind getting into buying under-performing sites and improving them. That would be a great way to expand your portfolio to cover many more niches.

Flipping sites for profit is an extremely apt subject right now, especially if you apply it to the imminenet release of foreign language domains. Opportunity abounds!

You should record the seminar and then give it away to anyone that subscribes to your newsletter, that would be an easy way to build a list for free.

I’ve always had great luck finding domains specific to a physical location, setting up a site framework and letting them sit a few days/weeks before someone asks me (usually) for the domain name. It doesn’t hurt that I fill them with content either ;-)

Great tips! Buying “flipped” sites appeals to me because typically these sites have history, Pagerank, etc. They are often much easier to market because they are not “brand new.” Thanks!
Flippa is a great site for selling websites to other people. Flipping websites can be very profitable if you are good at it.
