skywatcher, I'd wrongly subscribed with some non ethical webmaster offering something free without rebranding or anything like that, but poorly giving me free ebook that they got it for free in the internet. Really disgusting.

Andrew, yes, never destroy the relationship at the beginning, but how to create good ebook without stealing other's ideas especially for non pro writer?

@skywatcher

If you're just rehashing crap, then don't even bother.

The name of the game is creating value for someone coming into your list.

If you destroy the relationship at the beginning, you can forget about any future sales.

Its almost a given that if you're into making a list you have to offer something for free like some cheap ebook like most of the marketers nowadays do.

They buy it off somewhere rebrand it and offer it as if it was their own - same rehashed info in new package.

Great breakdown on a tactical level, on the macro level, I'd say it boils down to:
1) Understanding your prospects key issues/problems
2) Creating a persuasive argument/reason why your product or service is an ideal solution to their problem.
3) Presenting it to them and showing them that product x (hoodia, acai berry, etc) will address their problem.
4) Follow up via email if appropriate (you've collected their contact info, right?).

Ruck,

I just re-read this again and it's really good.

1) If you do article marketing, is it okay from the cpa company to put a redirect in the resource box? (Would that be only for offers that allow for web placement? Is there a potential problem is someone reads article and then sticks it in their newsletter and the cpa company didn't have it allowed for email promotion?)

2)When I asked the AM at one CPA company about sending out an email with an offer he said that if you use aren't doing a solo email but using as part of a newsletter with content you don't need to use the suppression list. Do you know if that's true for azoogle too?

3) Do you stick cpa links within a pdf ebook (via redirection) too or just affil links?

I started reading your blog a couple weeks ago and I'm still going through all the posts. It's been very helpful because I am very new to affiliate marketing. That being said... One way you might be able to use your credit card for multiple signups is to get one that has the single use, numbers that you can apply for online. Every purchase will have a different card number. Not sure if it will really work, but doesn't hurt to try.

Keep up the good work.

They aren't spam when someone opts in to your mailing list and definitely aren't spam when you require them to confirm their subscription.

Ruck that was another banger man! One way that I have found that works on some of my lists is to diguise it as a newsletter. When people signup for newsletters, they are looking for something from you on a regular basis. per week, bi-weekly, monthly and so forth. So, you can hit them up with your adverts on those increments and then in between that you can send them alot of content so it builds credability for you. e.g. you send them good content (from wherever you choose to get it) every week but then on every other week you throw in your "recommendations" with your content.

Hey Sparky,

You dont necessarily have to write them. Save yourself some time and pick up a rebrand, resell or rip a few articles :)

The Cost Per Sale items usually stay the longest. This can work with any product though.

Actually article marketing is another medium as well but if the product falls out your SOL. The smart thing is to put the link in your author box on a redirect so you could at least redirect it to a closely related product. Some sites may not allow this though so use at your own discretion.

Ruck,

Do these CPA offers only last a specific period of time? Or do the CPA networks always have them, but the commissions may change on a monthly basis?

Trying to figure out how I'll approach doing running a campaign for them. Seems like they all need to be done with CPC campaigns and not article marketing.

Thanks!
