Azoogle Referral Program Goes To Shit

AzoogleAzoogle (no I wont link to them) has done yet another thing that disgruntles me. See I like to test these CPA companies ALOT to see who’s on the up and up. So I gave Azoogle a taste last year by running some simple text links and banners on some sites I own:

Only $22K and change. Not a lot I know. The thing you have to realize is these sites run themselves. This is income for which I do ZERO, I repeat ZERO work for. In the beginning sure, it required work, SEO, traffic building and all that wonderful jazz but this is the payout from a few sites that run on autopilot. In case you forgot, autopilot income is better than sex. Yes, you can quote me on that.

Now here’s this whole story that actually turns out be one big circle jerk with me kind of eating my words this morning. You see, CPA Affiliates brought out the email this morning and I saw it on my morning blog rounds. So congrats to CPA Affiliates  for having the first dibs on this. (Proper credit is appointed to good bloggers).

My email is the same and here it is:

Dear Publisher, At AzoogleAds, we believe that some of the most valuable business relationships can be developed through word of mouth; we believe in it so strongly that we even have a program designed to reward such referral business! We are changing our program starting February 1st, 2008, and we wanted to give you the highlights:

You must maintain a minimum revenue level of $1,000 in your primary account on a monthly basis in order to receive any referral payouts for that month. As always, we’d love to hear any questions or comments that you have; please send us your thoughts at AZreferral@AzoogleAds.comSincerely,
Mitchell Richler
Vice President of Network Distribution

So this really blows. I was actually going to feature them in my upcoming Affiliate Directory I am putting together for the blog and forum. If you remember me giving Market Leverage a great recommendation WITHOUT a referral link, it’s because they have have excellent communication and always keep me in on the loop for new offers. Azoogle does not do shit and to tell you the truth they got rid of my old Affiliate Manager who made the 20K+ possible last year. Which is quite ironic because I joined IncentaClick last week where she is NOW my AM!  I have spoken with my new Affiliate Manager from Azoogle only once and that was about a week and a half ago. I wanted to negotiate a higher payout on two of the offers I had ran last year. Unfortunately, they told me that since I didnt do enough volume they could not do this.

That’s f#cking hilarious when I can shift over to 2 different networks right now and make $0.10 higher on one offer and $0.20 on another WITHOUT negotiating for a higher payout. I had to kindly explain to my AM that the site runs on auto. I dont do shit for that money. Here’s one better. I got an email the other day asking what I could do to push more volume for the top advertiser in the screenshot above. Hilarious.

So will this post likely get me in trouble or possibly (mysteriously) banned from the network? It very will could. Does Ruck give a shit? Nope, not a bit. I will shift them f#ckers right over to the other networks and make back $0.30 on both offers more in less than 2 minutes.

So now my idea of pushing Affiliates into Azoogle because they have paid me month in and month out is over. With the experience I had, I can still work with them and take my bumps but I would feel awful about referring someone there. It looks like I will be leaving them very shortly. Probably after this post, more sooner than later.

How GAY!
What a kick in the nuts from Azoogle!

I can’t even get accepted to Azoogle ads, never mind negotiate higher payouts. Ha!

If you don’t mind me asking, about how much traffic do you get that yields $22,000 on those “auto pilot” sites?

I have been with IncentaClick for a couple of months and I really like them. I also like my AM, who also used to work for Azoogle. I wonder if we have the same AM? Does your AM initials happen to be W.L. (female)?

Best Wishes,

LOl…That’s her man!

Super nice lady dude :)

Now that’s ironic. I just stopped using Azoogle last week and switched over to Incentaclick.

Dude, how in the world do you get 31,000+ leads on auto-pilot? Better question…how can I get 300 of them? Yep, it’s official…this is now my favorite website on earth.

Like I stated, there was work involved at first. Getting the sites up, building traffic until people started to talk about it.

January 25, 2008

That is sweeeeeet! Nice job.

Good News…Market Leverage will be rolling out both referral and reward programs shortly! We hope publishers view these as “icing on the cake”, extras that complement our excellent customer service and high paying offers!

While programs like these can be cumbersome and hard to manage, and can also open the door to problems…we will do our best to make sure ours are as clear and concise as possible!

“Only $22K and change. Not a lot I know”

Man, I was happy that I made $10 with torrents in one night. I wish I knew how you do it. Well, I guess I`ll get there eventually. Thanks for sharing Ruck.

I did not mean “not a lot” to be a condescending asshole. I know…it’s sometimes hard to tell when I am being a dick or truthful. I meant “not a lot” compared to what some Affiliates for Azoogle make.

Of course this for sites that sit there on there ass.

January 26, 2008

“A lot” is a relative term anyway. As I am from a third world country, that is more than a lot for me, but I know that is pennies for many people. I just need to reach $40 daily to quit my dayjob, so you can get an idea of what “a lot” means to me :-P… Keep sharing good stuff as allways Ruck, I have breakfast every day reading your blogposts (every time there`s a new one of course) :).

Greetings from Argentina

$40 a day to quit your day job???

wow I need like 800.00 a day holy crap anyone wanna move to Argentina?

Steve, “$40 a day to quit your day job???
Wow I need like 800.00 a day holy crap anyone wanna move to Argentina?”
Unless you already speak Spanish or have a burning desire to learn I doubt you would accept the changes & accept the lowering of your living standards ($800 to $40 a day will require compromises).
Instead of just looking to earn more there may be scope to renegotiate some of your recurring outgoings make the requisite $800, more like $650?

I was also extremely unhappy with the new setup. It’s crazy how much of a turn off some changes can make. I will have another interesting follow up post on this tomorrow!

Great quote! I can vouch for that. Nothing like free money!

Is this system better than the munnymaker system? do referral marketing programs really work?

July 30, 2008

Did Azoogle ever contact you about this? Affiliate Networks always seem to do soooo much better for their affiliates before they get too big.

Aff mkters can hit back HARD….
especially since the more established ones roll in the same circles, it’s silly to upset one and set off a chain reaction.

Not like azoogle needs much help in that effort it seems.
