Top Commentators And WP Cache

I added a couple of plugins this evening. Wp Cache and Top Commentators. Let me know if anything seems off. It seems to be looking good to me. The Top Commentators was a pain in my ass because this theme can be incredibly tricky to work with on widgets. The Cache should keep load times very quick.

The Top Commentators is kind of a way to reward those who communicate regularly on the blog. While I may only carry a PageRank 3, I make it very clear that I give it all away on the blog. From commenting to the homepage, it’s all juice passed to you. I could care less about the rank as long as someone is listening. I usually get indexed within a couple of hours so the spiders to make a few trips here everday.

    Hi cash tactic blogger,

Thank you for what you are doing for use with your do follow and top comments plug-in.

    I have 2 questions man:

    1) Doesn’t this bring spammers to your blog?

    Your blogs name is excellent.

btw, we have the same template (SEs love it), but tweaking it is a “cauchemar” (translate: nightmare).

    Franck the body guard.

    Hi Franck,

The top comments plugin is new but the Do-follow has been on for awhile. I have the Askimet plugin running and Trackback Validator running as well to keep out the spam but yea, I do get a lot of it.

Your absolutely right about tweaking this theme. I have spent many late nights pulling my hair out on just the smallest things.

Once again Ruck you continue to bring a wealth of info and help to the game, and things like this will only continue to increase your reader loyalty.

    Keep it up!

I’ve never been a big fan of the top commentator plugin for the simple fact that is drains authority like crazy. But obviously, if you don’t care, there’s nothing at all wrong with that.

I like to give as much as possible to my readers, but I do want to keep some of it to myself as well. :)

It’s great that you’re being so selfless with your blog, Ruck.

Ruck I am glad you are willing to share everything with us, even link lovin’

I use the DoFollow as well to reward those willing to share their thoughts.

You pages have always loaded quickly for me but I have hi-speed and that normal does the trick.

I may have to use the wp-cache plugin as well.

The WP Cache plugin is a good one. I had to install it because my blog was always reading “Internal Server Error” due to too many WordPress connections as far as hostgator was concerned.

I used some other Top Commentators plugin and it had shrunk the words in the sidebar like real bad. I got another one that allowed me to write in the widget and it’s working great.
