Bomb Or Dud?

I think some people would love to put a bullet in my head after I throw out this little gem. Take a look:

SuperBowl 2008(Click To View Larger)

I would think that after talking about Yahoo Buzz and Google Trends we would develop another sense –>Foresight.

Foresight is critical when we are marketing upcoming events. While the Superbowl may not be showing up in the buzz index or the trends, you can bet a dollar to a doughnut (thanks Bob) that it will. Right now there is nobody there. I wonder what a Superbowl survey linked to a hot prize CPA offer zip or email submit would do? Better yet, right now would be excellent for a short blog littered with Adsense Superbowl ads?

This is great info Ruck. I’m still trying to grasp how to utilize this knowledge. I’m currently awaiting approval from azoogle and a few other CPA affiliates.

So much information to absorb I just don’t know where to start. :( I have my Wordpress blog up. Now its time to figure out the affiliates and key word research part.

Thanks for another great post that fills my mind with so many ideas :) One day I am certain that it will all come together.

    Ok Ruck Weres teh Gun!

Seriously I can say I have cashed in on every football game, QB, Team vs Team. Search works well, but the content network was were it always rocked.

Keep an Eye for the game buzz and run with it. There is really no limit and its fairly easy “up and running” for the lazy marketer.

Simple landing pages , zip summits easy 100’s per events.

Get Ruck I saw him running over there!!!

Your right on this one Jeff,

Content network is and has always done well for me when I target an event. Even better is to find some blogs or high trafficked sites already talking about the event and do a placement targeting campaign for them as well.

Wow brilliant. Of course the key is not The super bowl, it’s the thousands of other thinks that are just as predictable. This is worth some serious thought as to how I can capitalize on it.
