I have only 1.5 to 2 hours available per day during the week and often get lost in email and, until very recently, net surfing to gain traffic points. I’ve finally stopped that after more than a year.
Hey Ruck, I think your recommendation of doing 2 or 3 productive things BEFORE checking the email is a great idea and one that I will try this week.

Well yea,

If your setting something up, I would consider that productive. As long as we are not surfing our stats every hour then I think we can be productive. A good way to do that is by doing a couple of productive things to start your day off before checking emails and stats.

Productively? I never find much productive unless I am gaining from it. As of now, I am still working to that point to where I am gaining from it. I’d say maybe a few hours a day. Although with my new blog, I’ve spent about 5-10 hours a day this past week setting it up, researching, graphics… all that do daz.

Since i am a newbie and a part timer, maybe 1 hour per day – at the most. Mostly learning the ropes at the moment.

Since I am determined to make Internet Marketing my livelihood, I spend more than 12 hours per day… most of which are not as productive as I need them to be. But I’m still learning and trying to make sense out of everything!

I spend the same time 14-16. I love what I do and days pass fast. I need more time, If I could I’d pass all 24 hours. There are so many ideas and not enough time :-(

I don’t have a routine really. Checking email, blogs, forums, campaigns is routine along with outsource followups but as far as cold hard working, we are talking about research, development, coding..it all differs each day.

I would be interest in see Ruck creating a timetable and list out all the things you do each day, just to get an idea what your IM daily rountine is like.

Since going back to work 3 to 5 hours is hard to squeeze in at times. Thank God for weekends! Then I can get 8 to 10. I find I am much more roductive time wise with 3 to 5. I know my time is limited and I need to get done what is important first.

I spend anywhere from 6 – 10 hours PRODUCTIVELY online. I wish i could say all of the hours went to my personal projects but Starwood gets about 4 of those hours a day.
